Care for a smoke? || Marc & Greg

It wasn't often that Marcus got a break from working at the bar. But things were slow at the bar, and Ricardo stepped out for a little while. So of course Marc was going to slack off a bit. He left out the back of the bar and leaned against a wall in the alley, pulling out a box of cigarettes from his pocket, stuffing one between his lips and using his lighter to spark it. He took a drag and exhaled, releasing the smoke out into the night air.

He was glad people were willing to trade cigarettes for alcohol. It relieved a lot of stress: stress from running the bar, Leon becoming a purger, fearing for his life...And as much as he wanted to quit, he couldn't realistically use his vape anymore. It would be a waste of good propane. Besides, who the fuck cared about lung cancer anymore? The world was ending. He'd be lucky to live long enough to get cancer like his parents did.
