Finn looked into the mirror, fixing his suit once more and sighed as he looked into the mirror. He didn’t look anything like the guy he was used to seeing recently. He looked… different, more mature, like the boy that he was before this whole shit starter, before he went bad. Finn sighed, picking up the corsage that he got for Rachel. It was a pink orchid with a white ribbon around it and he opened the box and carefully and stroked the petal under his fingers. All he wanted to do was make this the best night ever for Rachel, especially since things have been a little rough for the two of them, with her Dads and his drinking and basically just all of his problems. He heard a sound and he quickly closed the box, only to see his Mom come through the door. His relationship with his Mom was rocky at best and he really didn’t know how to approach her lately. All he knew was that he had Prom tonight was was taking his girlfriend, who she’s never even met. He basically ruined their relationship a long time ago and he had almost no hope of getting it back. "Y-You look nice sweetheart." Carole Hudson said, looking at her son, looking all handsome and nervous for a girl. This girl must have been really special, because Carole could see an improvement in Finn. He spent less time in his room, just alone, instead going out with her to different places and even taking her here on some occasions, but obviously when she wasn’t around. The Finn in front of her now looked like her Finn from four years ago, her sweet, innocent Finn. “Come here sweetie, let me fix your hair." Finn hesitated before approaching his Mom, letting her fix his hair as she smiled, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Sweep her off your feet. Call me if you need anything." Carole said as Finn stood up to his full height, smiling down at his Mom. “I will.” Finn said, grabbing a backpack with a few shirts, underwear and sleep shorts before heading down to the Limo, waving goodbye to his Mom. "I want to see pictures!" She yelled out as Finn hopped into the limo, instructing the driver to go to Rachel’s house. He texted her to come out and it wasn’t long before she came out, looking all gorgeous in her green dress. Rachel hopped into the limo and once the door was closed, Finn kissed her softly. “You look amazing babe.” Finn said. “Um, to McKinley High.” Finn said to the driver as he nodded. Finn immediately reached for the box with the corsage in it and picked it up, tying it around her wrist. “The prettiest corsage… For the prettiest girl I know.” Finn said softly, holding her hand and smiling up at her.
Rachel got in the limo, seeing him sitting down. She scooted close to him, smiling. Kissing him back, she rested a hand on his thigh. Once they were broken apart, she took a moment to appreciate him. She had been searching for the man she had fallen in love with. The man that was a gentleman, refined and mature. It was like everything that happened over these past few weeks were wiped away. He looked so handsome in his tux, like a movie star. It made her heart flutter seeing him like this. A blush spread across her face as he put on the corsage. “I love it,” she said, staring down at the beautiful flower. She paused, looking back up at him. “You look so amazing,” she said, smiling. Seconds later, she went to her bag and pulled out a simple white flower pin. “This is for you,” she said, pining it carefully on his tux. Once she was done, she smiled proudly up at him. “I’m so excited,” she said, squeezing his hand.
Finn looked down as Rachel pinned a flower on his suit, complimenting on how amazing he looked. He eyed her up and down and shook his head. Not as amazing as you look right now babe.” Finn said, squeezing her hand. “Well, our reservation for Breadsticks is at 10 and I know that a bunch of douchebags have been giving you a hard time at school so right after crowning, we can leave, have a good dinner then maybe go to our hotel room and just watch things on TV until we fall asleep okay?” Finn said, intertwining their fingers and squeezing them. Finn didn’t want to dwell too much in McKinley cause honestly most of the people there were douchebags anyways, and he didn’t want to spend much time there. He just wanted to spend time with Rachel overall. “So, I was thinking, by the way, that maybe you’d l-like to meet my Mom officially? Like…. not over the phone and stuff. I-It’s gonna be a way for me to patch things up with my Mom y’know, and I was wondering if you could help me do it.” Finn wondered, a little nervous. He didn’t know if Rachel wanted to meet his Mom, since they weren’t really close or anything.
Rachel blushed, nudging her nose against his shoulder quickly. She perked up, listening to him intently. He had such an amazing night planned for them, and she couldn’t be more excited. He always swept her off her feet when they went out together, but it was even more special being prom night. Tonight was going to be very romantic and enjoyable, despite being surrounded by the people at McKinley. But honestly, all she cared about right now was the handsome boy beside her. “I’m sure we can find a romantic comedy that we’ll both enjoy,” she said softly. “I’ll be relying on you for a second blanket, though. The pajamas I brought aren’t my winter ones. I’ve yet to get them out of the attic,” she added on a side note. She rested her head on his shoulder for a moment before picking it back up. She had seen his mother once it twice, but never officially met her. She seemed like a sweet woman, and if she was going to be with Finn for the long run, she needed to meet her. “Of course. I’d love to meet her.” Rachel smiled softly. “I’ll be right by your side.” She truly meant that. Through everything, she was going to be beside him. Not too long ago, she was holding him in her arms while he cried against her. Though she hoped that never happened again, she was determined to be there for him whenever he needed her.
Finn scoffed at Rachel’s idea of finding a romantic comedy they both liked. “I can assure you babe I don’t think there’s a romantic comedy that exists that I’ll like, but I’ll sit there through it with you.” Finn said, turning to kiss her forehead softly “And wait for something to happen.” Finn mumbled quietly as Rachel shoved his shoulder playfully and he laughed. “And I won’t just be your blanket, I’ll be like your… human furnace. Super hot.” Finn said, winking at her and nodding when she said that she’d love to meet his mother. “I want you to meet her too.” He mumbled quietly, squeezing her hand encouragingly. “I love you.” Finn said as they pulled up into McKinley’s gym and Finn let out a sigh. The things that he would do with this girl, stay in gym full of fuckfaces he hated for an entire night just to please his girl. “Let’s do this.” Finn said, waiting for her to exit the car before following right after, holding her hand as they entered the gym.
Rachel laughed in agreement. He was right; there probably wasn’t a romantic comedy that he would like, but being a good boyfriend, he would wait it out. Rachel enjoyed watching movies with him, though the last time, they watched Thor, which wasn’t exactly her cup of tea. Still, she watched it to please him. Rachel nudged him, mock glaring at him. She couldn’t help but laugh softly, nodding. “Hey, save that for later, hot stuff,” she teased, pecking his cheek softly. When he squeezed her hand, she smiled, feeling her entire heart burst. She felt like that every single time he said those three words. They meant everything to her. “I love you too,” she replied in the same fashion, seeing that they had arrived at the school. Taking a deep breath, she prepared to enter the gym, where countless students were already dancing. She got out of the car, smoothing her dress down before taking his hand and walking towards the doors. The moment they opened, all she could see was lights. The ceilings were covered in lights, like the night sky. Plants and flowers marked the entrance like a red carpet. To Rachel, it was like a fairytale. She smiled excitedly, pulling him inside with her. As soon as they came into view, a few people stopped, their eyes wide. For a moment, Rachel wondered whether it was a compliment or an insult, but they didn’t stop staring. Keeping her head high, she lead Finn to the dance floor. "Looking good, Hudson," a girl remarked as they passed, to which Rachel persisted forward. "You clean up nice," another one commented along the way. Soon enough, they reached the center of the dance floor and she took began to dance, twirling around in her green dress. “Come on, baby, dance!” she called to him.
Rachel tried to keep her focus on Finn, the devilish eyes of the cheerleaders behind him. She had to admit, they all looked beautiful tonight, even more so than before. She envied them, wondering how she compared. Rachel glared as they touched him and spoke to him, feeling it was extremely inappropriate and rude. Wasn’t it clear that he had a girlfriend? Still, she tried to focus on him and ignore the surrounding girls. Suddenly, a girl started grinding on Finn, and she felt her head spin. No.. he was hers. That was completely obscene! For a few seconds she watched, helpless, but then stormed off to get a drink. Her head hurt and she needed something to bring her back from insanity. Had that really just happened? She took a sip of the punch, feeling her throat being soothed. “There is no such thing as human decency anymore. I’m your girlfriend,” she said with a huff. Taking another sip, she was determined not to let them ruin her night. Taking his hand, she led him back to the dance floor. But halfway there, they were separated. She yelled for him, but there was no reply. Over the music, the only distinct voice she heard was that of Quinn Fabray. “Hello Berry. Nice dress,” she said, sounding sarcastic. “What do you want, Quinn?” Rachel replied, crossing her arms. “I want Finn. He was mine first.” The brunette scoffed. “Quite the opposite, actually! You were is rebound!” Her temper was flaring up. He told me that he loved me, Rachel. Just ask him.” She felt like crying. “What are you trying to prove Quinn? That I’m lesser than you?” “Ah, finally. I thought you were smarter than that pea-sized brain that Finn has,” the blonde commented, the words slipping out of her mouth. That reply was met with a slap to the face by one Rachel Berry. “How dare you!” she yelled, people starting to notice.
Finn took Rachel’s hand in between his and squeezed it lightly. “Just remember that okay? I’m your boyfriend and no matter how many moves they try to pull, that isn’t going to change baby.” Finn said, trying to get her to relax. “Don’t let them ruin our night okay?” Finn murmured softly to her, trying to get her to relax. Rachel started to tug him to the dancefloor and he followed, only to be separated when a congo line dance right through them. Finn rolled his eyes. Seriously? A congo line? What the fuck was this, the 1980s? Finn tried to scour out for Rachel, but she had seemingly been lost in the swarm of people in the dance floor and he couldn’t even use his height to his advantage. It wasn’t long until Finn could hear Rachel’s voice over the music… Along with Quinn’s. Finn swore to himself. It looked like there was going to be trouble and he needed to find them fast. Finn pushed through the crowd and eventually found his girlfriend and ex-girlfriend yelling at each other in the middle of the dance floor. Finn was about to interject when Rachel slapped Quinn across the face and Quinn looked furious, so Finn quickly stepped into the middle of them. “Look Quinn, let’s get this straight. I broke up with you for Rachel, so don’t you go blaming her. I love her and no way in fucking hell was she the rebound. You listen to me, you are not going to go anywhere near her.” “But Finn, she doesn’t love you like I do!” Quinn said, trying to reason with him. “Oh yeah she does, cause if you honestly loved me, you wouldn’t have told me I had a pea-sized brain and you’d let me go and let me be happy with the girl that I love and that’s not you, you psychotic bitch.” Finn said, wrapping an arm around Rachel and leading her out of the gym. He sighed and sat down outside once they were out of the gym. “Fuck, I can’t even make one night special for you cause my shit has to follow us around.” Finn said, defeated.
Rachel could see the anger in Quinn’s eyes. Had she really just hit her? Wasn’t violence what she had sworn against? No, this was different. She insulted Finn and she hated when people called him those mean names. Rachel cringed as she waited for some sort of retaliation, but Finn had come to her rescue. She stood behind him, but made sure that she could add Quinn’s eyes. She wanted to see the pain coursing through her body. Finn’s words were piercing, and even Rachel was taken back by what he said, but was grateful. Walking with him out of the gym, she took in the fresh air. “Baby.. look at me. It’s unavoidable. It’s not prom night unless there’s a catfight,” she told him, trying to lighten the mood. “The night isn’t over yet. Let’s show them that we’re not afraid.” She took his hands, looking straight into his eyes. “Let’s go find the Glee Club, okay? Sam can show you how to do this cool body roll thing,” she added with a soft laugh. “This is our night. Let’s make the most of it.”
Finn looked into Rachel’s eyes when she said that it’s wasn’t prom unless there was a cat fight and he sighed and nodded when she said that they should go back inside and show them that they weren’t afraid. Psh. Finn Hudson wasn’t afraid, but he hated fuckfaces to caused scenes, who insulted him and who insulted Rachel and he already had a bad feeling about this night. He stood up and took Rachel’s hand, leading her back inside to find the Glee club. It wasn’t long before they say the Glee club in the corner, talking and mingling as they made their way over. “Hey, what’s up guys?” Artie greeted as Finn held up his fist for a fist pound. Finn was glad that he came back to the Glee club and got to know the members; they were all pretty awesome. “Nothing much. Having fun over here?” Finn asked as Artie sighed, taking a sip of the punch and making a face. “Ew, what’s in this.” Finn looked around to see if Rachel was there, only to spot her dancing with the other Glee girls in the dance floor. “That my friend, is the beauty of Jack and punch. A couple of the guys on the basketball team poured two bottles into the punch.” Finn said, taking the cup from Artie and taking it in one go. “Yeah, that’s pretty strong.” Finn and Artie talked for a bit when suddenly, the lights started to dim and the principal came up to the microphone. “Greetings, Titans. Now is the most awaited part of the night, the crowning of this year’s King and Queen! Will the nominees please come up on stage.” Rachel greeted Tina and Mercedes, excited to see her friends. Being that she didn’t have many friends to begin with, it was nice to spend time with her fellow Glee Club members. Sam also came over and gave her a friendly hug, joining them in the dance. Rachel twirled around, laughing loudly as she finally enjoyed herself, keeping an eye on her boyfriend who was nearby. Despite her encounter with Quinn, she was having a lovely night. But once the lights dimmed, she knew the best part of the night was about to occur. The nominees were called up, walking to their places. Finn, Cole, and a Ryan Baker stood on the right while Quinn, Melanie George, and Lola Quincy stood on the left. Rachel blew a kiss to Finn, wishing him luck as the principal took out the card. “The new prom king of William McKinley 2012 is… Cole Weston!” The crowd cheered as he went to get his crown. She looked sympathetically at her boyfriend, knowing that it wasn’t exactly his biggest concern. “And now… our prom queen….” He paused. “Ms Rachel Berry.” She froze, her heart beating rapidly. She wasn’t even nominated. How could she have won? There was no way! She looked around as the entire gymnasium stared, watching her reaction. She slowly walked up to the stage and the principal put the crown on her head. Only then did the crowd cheer for the surprised Rachel. She turned around to Finn, confused, but was interrupted by Cole. “May I have this dance?” It was customary for the king and queen to dance together, so she agreed. But this was Cole - her ex-boyfriend. To say it was awkward would be an understatement. He led her down to the dance floor, one hand holding hers while the other was placed on her waist. She took a deep breath, making sure that there was enough space between them at all times.
Finn was just about to go get his girlfriend to dance with her as well, the lights dimmed and the Principal announced that it was time for the crowning of Prom King and Queen. Honestly, this tradition was one of the stupidest thing in existence, well at least to Finn. But for some reason, he’s been nominated four years in a row and won once in his sophomore year. The principal called up his name and he dragged his ass on stage, hearing a few girls wolf whistle before standing next to Ryan Baker, the quarterback for the football team and that stupid asshole Cole; Rachel’s ex-boyfriend. He could actually care less if he won Prom King right now, he was just itching to get back to his girlfriend. He listened to the winners be announced and rolled his eyes when Rachel’s douchey ex won Prom King. However, his eyes went wide open when Figgins announced that the winning Prom Queen… Was Rachel. Finn smiled slightly, he was glad that Rachel was finally getting the recognition she deserved, but then one of the worst things happened. Cole, the fucking King, had to dance with his girlfriend. Finn has never shown the desire to win, but now he really really wishes that he fucking did. His jaw tightened as he watched Cole pull her close, one hand in hers and the other resting on her waist. The fuck. Why were they looking all cozy and happy and shit? And why did she agree to dance with him in the first place? Finn needed some air, so he jumped off the stage and walked out of the gym, silently so that no one really noticed and walked towards the auditorium. It was a sanctuary for him. Just somewhere where he could go alone and if he was pissed, the drum set would always be there for him to bang away on to release some of that pent up energy. Finn walked up to the stage and opened the lights to the back of the stage and sat down in front of the props closet, needing a few minutes to get himself together.
Rachel didn’t want to dance with Cole. While he was a fairly nice young man, he was her ex-boyfriend, and without a doubt still had feelings for her. She kept her distance, making sure that she respected Finn’s comfort zone. After all, she was not about to get cozy with Cole. This was her prom night with her boyfriend. But just as he came into her view, he was gone. She looked, wide eyes as he walked out of he gymnasium. Seconds later, she let go of Cole, but he didn’t do the same. “Rachel.. please stay,” he asked. “I love you.” She covered up her face, shaking her head. “Cole… I’m sorry,” she stammered as she ran out of the gym and into the hallway. She searched the entire school for him, until it hit her. How could she have been so stupid? She knew exactly where he was. Coming into the auditorium, she saw him there. A sadness rushed over her as she walked down to him, her heart aching. “I.. I didn’t know this was going to happen. It was coincidence, really,” she tried to explain. The crown hurt her head, so she took it off, holding it in her head. “I can’t believe I got Prom Queen… I wasn’t even on the ballot.” She sighed, looking back at him. “I really thought that you would have won. Especially with all those lovely ladies in the crowd tonight.” Taking a moment, she stared out into the empty seats.
Finn was just sitting on the auditorium stage, trying to relax his mind so that he didn’t throw another temper tantrum and walk over to knock that guy out. Instead, he tried to relax, doing his best to make sure that he didn’t lose control and it was best to be away from everyone and away from Rachel. He sat by himself alone for around 15 minutes and he was on his way to letting it go completely when Rachel came in, walking up to him and explaining that it was all coincidence. Finn’s temper began to rise once more, but instead he clenched his fists and counted to 20 before responding to Rachel. “Didn’t look like a coincidence to me. Someone must’ve rigged the ballot, but it’s cool. You deserved to be on there tonight.” Finn said, closing his eyes and remembering the way Cole held her and wow, people just had to fuck up their night. “I don’t give a fuck about winning a stupid crown. Doesn’t get me anywhere in life, it’s just a fucking piece of plastic.” Finn said, a low, menacing tone in his voice. He started to fiddle with his slacks, finding loose threads and brushing them through his fingers, a soothing motion. Rachel looked at him, cringing. She hated seeing him so angry, so distraught. There had to be a way to fix all of this. She paused, going to the back of the stage and plugging in her iPhone, the music starting to play from the speakers. Turning back to him, she smiled softly, trying to change the mood. “We never did have our dance,” she said. “We don’t need anyone else.” She paused. “I don’t know what happened out there, or why it did, but.. there is only one person that I want to be dancing with.” Gently she took his hands, holding them tightly. Going to him, she put a hand to his cheek, stroking it softly as a romantic song played in the background. She stood up close to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. “I love you so much, Finn,” she told him, not caring about the crown, or the recognition. This wasn’t about her. Sure, she had been thinking about this night for so long, but right now, that all seemed selfish. Here was this amazing boy in front of her, who did so much for her every day, and she wanted to give that back to him. The same amount of love and compassion. Leaning up, she kissed him softly, smiling as the music played. She played with the hair on the back of his head, her fingers making circular motions. Then, she broke away, twirling next to him before returning to their previous position, staring lovingly up at him.
Finn didn’t notice Rachel move to the other side of the stage, turning on a speaker and then plugging her iPhone in as the song “The Way You Look Tonight” started to play in the background softly. His expression immediately softened. How did she do that? Distract him so much that his anger just.. disappears. He’s starting to realize that he does need professional help, but for once, maybe they should just put it aside for the night and just focus on them. He stood up as Rachel walked over to him, placing his hands on her waist as one hand rested on the back of his neck as they both swayed to the music. “I love you too.” Finn whispered, responding in kind. Honestly, how he managed to land a girl like Rachel was way beyond him. Here she was, on her prom night, dancing with him in an empty auditorium when she should be back at the gym with her friends. Finn kissed her back, twirling her as she came once more to rest in his arms. He sighed. “I’m sorry about ruining your prom. You shouldn’t have come find me, I would have been back in like thirty minutes. I just really needed to cool down before I saw everyone again. I didn’t want make a scene at your Prom.” Finn murmured to her softly, kissing her forehead. Rachel stood next to him, still playing with his hair. She shook her head softly as his response. “The night isn’t over yet,” she said simply. “And I’m pretty sure that if I had to dance with Cole any longer, I would have thrown up,” she said honestly. The memory came back and she shook her head, trying to focus on her boyfriend instead. Maybe then, she wouldn’t remember that queezy feeling that she did before. “Besides.. I needed to focus on the only true prom king of the night.” She took her crown and put it on his head, laughing softly. “You look awesome,” she joked, seeing her queen crown on his head. After a minute or so, she sighed. “How about we go in there for one more dance? As Queen, I need to formally say something, so we can’t sneak out. That, and I’d really like to shove that crown in Quinn’s face,” she said proudly, trying to stifle a laugh.
Finn sighed and smiled as Rachel said that the night wasn’t over yet. It was far from over, they still had the rest of the night ahead of them and Finn would be damned if he let anything else go wrong tonight. He laughed as Rachel placed the queen’s crown on his head. “Do I look fabulous?” Finn asked as he held Rachel tighter, chuckling softly as he pressed his nose into her hair. They were silent for a while before Rachel broke it, asking to go to the gym one last time to rub it into Quinn’s face that she had won prom queen. Finn chuckled and nodded, taking the crown off of his own head and placing it back on Rachel’s. “You really do deserve to be prom queen. You’re amazing, you know that?” Finn said softly before leaning in to brush his lips against hers. “I love you. Now come on, let’s go rub this crown in Quinn’s face.”
Rachel smiled wide when he agreed, jumping up and down. “Then lets go!” she said happily as she took his hand and led him back to the gymnasium. The crowd was still dancing, enjoying themselves among the music. Rachel grinned, guiding Finn back to the dance floor where a few people stared. This time, however, she didn’t care what people thought. She won Prom Queen - the coveted title of the night. This was her night and no one could take it away from her. Quinn could be seen not too far away, and she had a lethal glare on her face. Rachel got an idea and smirked. “Baby, come here,” she told him as she whispered in his ear. Then, she kissed him hotly, making sure that Quinn was watching. Though Rachel could not see, Quinn was horrified, her face stricken with both rage and defeat. Once they broke, Rachel smirked, looking over at Quinn and fixing her crown. She looked back at Finn and laughed, oddly proud of herself. For a while longer, they danced, until Rachel became tired. “Finn? Can we go to the hotel now? My feet may just fall off,” she told him over the loud music.
Finn ‘s and Rachel’s fingers laced as they walked back through the deserted halls of McKinley High, hearing the loud music pounding as they approached the gymnasium. When they got in, the people on the dance floor looks like they were having fun, dancing like crazy in the middle of the gym as Rachel led them in the middle and started to dance (as best as he could) as he watched Rachel dancing around him. He took her hand and spun her around as she stopped in front of him, looking at him for a moment before latching her lips hotly against his. His lips immediately parted hers and their tongues began to wrestle. Once air was a necessity, they pulled away and Finn could see Rachel smirk and he looked over his shoulder, seeing Quinn with a glare on her face. Finn laughed and kissed Rachel. “You’re such a bad girl.” Finn said. They dance a bit more before Rachel began to say that she was tired. Finn nodded and led Rachel away from the crowd, tugging her outside and texting the limo driver. Finally, the limo was in front of the gym and Finn opened the door, telling the driver to bring them to the hotel. The driver nodded, putting up the partition as Finn turned to Rachel and smiled at her in her crown. “You look so beautiful tonight.” Finn said, smiling softly.
Rachel smiled at him, laughing at his comment. A part of her felt bad for humiliating Quinn, and revenge was against her morals, but she couldn’t help it. She wasn’t going to let someone so publicly destroy her. Rachel knew the truth inside her. Finn loved her, and he would always choose her. Quinn was out of the picture. She took his hand with that in mind and walked with him to the limo. Once seated next to him, she cuddling up against his body. “I.. feel beautiful,” she told him, feeling butterflies in her stomach. He made her feel beautiful, and so so special. “You make me feel beautiful.” She smiled up at him, taking his hand. “Tonight definitely had its up and downs, but I can honestly say that it was the best night I had in a long time. I feel like a princess,” she said with a soft laugh, resting her head on his shoulder.
Finn turned his head and kissed the top of her head softly. “Well, you are beautiful. You don’t need me to make you feel beautiful, you already are.” Finn said as the driver stopped at the hotel. Finn led Rachel out before going over to the driver, handing him a twenty dollar tip. “Thanks for driving us around tonight.” The driver tipped his hat and smiled. “No problem, Mr. Hudson. Call the company again if ever you need limo services for you and your pretty lady.” Finn nodded and shook his hand before grabbing his and Rachel’s overnight bag from inside the limo and bringing it inside, walking up to the lobby. He had checked in already so he just led Rachel up to the room, sliding in the key and opening the door to reveal a beautiful hotel room. He placed their bags down and immediately dropped down on the bed. “Wow, I didn’t know dancing could be that tiring.” Finn moaned.
Rachel agreed with him. To feel beautiful, she shouldn’t need someone to tell her. But having him there, her amazing boyfriend complimenting her like all girls wanted, was enough for now. She was on her way from being an insecure young girl to a mature woman. Following him out of the car, she walked joyfully to their hotel room. Her eyes widened as she saw the room; it was spectacular like hotels in the Caribbean, of course, but it was perfect for the occasion. She let him put their bags down and went to the mirror, trying to unzip her dress. Given, it was beautiful, but it was starting to be bothersome. “Are you too tired to help me out of this dress?” she asked, reaching back to try it herself, but it was no use.
Finn looked up and saw Rachel struggling with her dress, trying to take it off. Finn smiled devilishly as he stood up, removing his jacket and moving over to press a soft kiss to Rachel’s shoulder. “M’never too tired babe. Especially when it involves removing clothes.” Finn said as he reached for the small zipper behind her dress, his hand moving her hair off her neck and beginning to press soft kisses to her neck as he dragged the zipper down to reveal her strapless bra and lacy underwear. Finn’s mouth grew dry as he pulled the zipper down further. “U-Um… That’s uh… cute underwear. And by cute I mean totally hot.” Finn said as he stepped away from Rachel, removing his own polo and jeans, fishing his gym bag for his sweatpants in his tight underwear.
Rachel felt her body shiver as he kissed her shoulder, more butterflies fluttering in her stomach. He was so gentle with her that it made her heart burst. Rachel closed her eyes as he continued to kiss her neck, the cold metal of the zipper hitting her skin. A blush came to her cheeks as he complimented her choice of underwear. It wasn’t her normal choice; in fact, knowing that they would spend the night together, she specifically chose the set for him. She never wanted to disappoint him. She giggled in response, stepping out of the dress and hanging it up. She turned around, seeing him in his briefs and smiled, feeling her body heat up within one second of looking at him. Rachel approached him from behind, feeling the curves in his back, her hands running over his muscles.
Finn thought for a moment, trying to think of how to explain it to her. “Well, when I really needed something, I wore this shirt and it came along. When I needed a job, when I needed a truck and actually… I was wearing this shirt when I met you so it falls under the category of lucky for me.” Finn said with a smile on his face. Rachel wrapped his arms around his waist, saying that it’s a very special and lucky night. “Well, yeah, we can totally order room service and watch any movie you want and we can just cuddle. It’s gonna be a pretty epic night.” Finn said, pressing his forehead against hers.
Rachel smiled against him, not sure if he was catching her drift. “That sounds amazing. Especially the room service. Who knew you could order food at 2 in the morning?” she added with a laugh. “But..” she started, running her hands up and down his chest. “Um.” She paused again, feeling nervous. “As I said, I’ve been thinking, and I’m pretty confident in my decision.” Rachel took a deep breath, looking up at him. “But before we have all of that fun, I wanted to give you something. Something someone is never going to get.” Putting a hand on his cheek. “Tonight is the night, Finn. ..make love to me?” she whispered softly, her heart beating quickly.
Finn frowned when Rachel said something about a decision. She made a decision? About what? Suddenly, Finn’s throat went dry when Rachel said that she wanted him to make love to her. She wanted them to have sex? Tonight? Finn’s eyes grew wide as his heart started pounding faster. “Okay, I wasn’t expecting that,” Finn said, chuckling and blowing out a breath. He looked into her eyes and smiled softly before leaning in to brush his lips ever so softly against hers. “I-I don’t have protection.” Finn said, a little frustrated. The last thing he wanted was to get Rachel pregnant and he was not a fan of just “pulling out”.
Rachel smiled at his nervous expression. She sort of expected it, being that she had always been so hesitant about the issue. But there, in confidence, she was ready for him. Rachel pursed her lips when he said that he didn’t have protection. What he didn’t know was that she had packed one in her bag just in case. She wasn’t expecting for tonight to be the night, but she always liked to be prepared. “I do,” she told him. “I always come prepared,” she answered with a nervous smile. She took his hands, her heart beating fast. “I love you, Finn, and I really want this.” She looked down at their hands intertwined and grinned, seeing his large ones holding hers. Of course, she was nervous. It was her first time, ever. But she had trust in Finn. He never pushed her outside of her comfort zone. She knew he would take care of her. “So… is that a yes?” she asked in a murmur, coming even closer to him with a blush on her cheeks.
Finn made a big show of looking really thoughtful. “I dunno, I was just thinking of grabbing some food and crashing…” When Rachel smacked at his chest, he laughed, cupping her face softly and looking into her eyes, brushing his nose against hers. “Of course it’s a yes. It’ll always be a yes when it comes to you.” Finn murmured before kissing her soundly on the lips. Finn was unsure about how to proceed, so he just continued to kiss her, backing her up against the bed and laying her down softly. He pulled away for a moment and looked down at their already half-naked bodies. “Well, I’m glad we got the clothes removing out of the way.” Finn said, trying to keep the mood light as he could feel Rachel’s tension and nervousness practically radiating from her body. Finn sighed and pressed his forehead against hers, looking into her eyes. “It’s just me. I’ll promise to take care of you, don’t be scared.”
Rache found his joke untimely but knew he was harmless. Honestly, it helped ease the tension she could feel building in her body. When he cupped her face, she smiled up at him. God, he was so perfect. She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close as they kissed. Moving with him, she tried to focus, concentrating on his actions. She was no professional at this, and she didn’t want to disappoint him. The bed was soft underneath her, making her feel a bit more comfortable. Rachel smiled lightly at his comment, nodding. She took in a deep breath, her chest rising heavily. “I’m not scared,” she told him confidently. “Not anymore.” She kissed him again, more confidently than before. Her hands made their way to his hair, toying with it a bit.
Finn adjusted them so that her head was resting comfortably on the pillow as they continued to exchange kisses, their tongues easing into each other’s mouths as Finn ground his hips lightly into hers, not wanting to go too fast for her. His hands went to slide into her hair, tugging lightly at her brown locks as his lips moved from her lips down to her neck. He focused on one spot on her collarbone, sucking lightly before darting out his tongue to soothe the spot so her skin didn’t sting. His hands slid down to her waist, squeezing them softly as he felt her legs wrap around his waist. “Chill baby, we have all night.” Finn murmured, a smile on his face as he whispered into her ear, taking her earlobe into his mouth.
Rachel groaned as he kissed her skin, feeling her body shake. There would be marks on her neck, for sure, but she didn’t care. It was a way of knowing that she was his, and no one else’s. Rachel wrapped her legs around his waist, pressing their lower bodies together. She moaned, nodding to his comment. She never wanted this night to end. Her hands continued to trace up and down his back, moving her hips slowly against his for friction. She released whimpers from her mouth, feeling her love and lust for him grow. She stopped, reaching in the front of her to unclip her bra before setting it aside, looking up at her boyfriend with lust-filled eyes. “I love you,” she told him once again.
Finn continued to pepper kisses along Rachel’s skin when he felt her reach in front of her and something fall away from her body. He looked down to see her breasts, two perfect mounds with nipples peaked. “I love you too. So fucking much.” Finn murmured as he reached up to kiss her lips soundly before his hands came to cup her breast and squeeze them. “I know sometimes you get insecure about your boobs, but they’re perfect, just like everything else on you.” Finn whispered softly. He leaned down to capture a nipple into his hot mouth, enjoying the way her body arched up against his.
Rachel felt her heart beat ten times faster when she saw the way he looked at her. It was so genuine, so loving, that it almost made her cry. When he squeezed her breast, she moaned, sighing softly. “Finn,” she murmured softly, her breasts heaving up and down with every breath. Her eyes closed as he spoke, taking in his words. It was true; she often thought insecurely of her body, but Finn made her feel like a goddess. It was an indescribable feeling. Rachel threw her head back when his lips met her nipple, sending a shock down her body. Already, she could feel a dampness in her panties beginning to grow. She gently massaged his head while he did his work on her, taking deep breaths in attempt to stay calm.
Finn rolled her nipple in between his teeth , darting out his tongue to flick the small nub before moving to the other one, giving it the same treatment. It wasn’t long until Rachel and panting beneath him and Finn wanted to make her feel good before he hurt her doing that they were about to do. It was no secret that it would hurt, but it would have to for the time being. He knows that the pain is going to replace the pleasure soon so he was going to make her feel amazing first. Finn reached down to tug at her panties, slowly sliding them down her legs before tossing it aside. Finn looked down at the space in between her legs and noticed that it was completely hairfree. He looked up at her, eyebrows raised. “You really were planning this, weren’t you?” Finn asked teasingly, leaning up to kiss her as a finger ran up and down her already wet slit.
Rachel breathed a sigh of relief when Finn pulled off her panties, kicking them off. Now naked underneath him, she watched his every move to gauge what was going on inside his mind. He looked between her legs and she blushed, biting her lip. “Were you honestly expecting that nothing would happen tonight? Perhaps I wasn’t planning on making love, but I would certainly a little fooling around,” she said with a giggle. Preparing herself, she wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close. She whimpered when he stroked her, biting her lip harshly. “Baby,” she groaned, her lips parting. “More, please,” she asked, his fingers so close to being inside her.
Finn obeyed Rachel immediately and slipped a finger inside of her, moving it in and out slowly. He pumped into her a few times before slipping in another finger, wanting to work her up first before they actually started. Finn’s thumb pressed on her clit repeatedly and the more he did that, the tighter the grip on the bedsheets. Finn smirked, happy that at least he was pleasuring her and it really was a sight to see one of the most beautiful women alive move that way, all for his eyes only. When she reached down to touch him, he let her stroke him, helping her push off his boxers. He was already so hard and he had barely even touched her. Finally, he pulled his fingers away and looked up at her. “You ready baby? It’s not too late to backout.” Finn asked.
Rachel felt her entire body pulse as he touched her. She couldn’t feel her legs, but for what she was experiencing, it was more than worth it. Her breathing became more labored as he pressed against her clit, causing her to moan repeatedly. He stopped, had Rachel had time to catch her breath, panting. Reaching down, she immediately felt him through his boxers, squeezing him lightly. Rachel took a deep breath as he pulled away finally, and she prepared herself for what was to come next. “I’m sure. I’ve never wanted to be with anyone else this badly. I love you… you love me.. it’s time that we show each other just how much,” she told her boyfriend, stroking his cheek. “But um… please don’t move until I tell you to?” she asked, before telling him where she had out in the condoms.
Finn nodded to her terms, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable in anyway. Once she directed him where the condoms were, he quickly fetched the box and opened it, pulling out one condom and resuming his position in between her legs. He took a deep breath as he ripped the foil package open and rolled it down his length, sheathing him completely. He laid back in between her legs, positioning himself at her entrance. He didn’t push in though, first he looked up and kissed her deeply. “I love you. Tell me if I’m hurting you baby.” Finn said as he pushed inside her. Once he came in contact with her barrier, he just just pushed through completely, like ripping off a band-aid. Once he was completely inside her, it was a feeling unlike any other. It was just so… intense. Finn could feel Rachel tensed up in his arms. “I’m so sorry baby.” Finn murmured to her, peppering kisses to her skin.
Rachel watched nervously as he prepared to penetrate her. She kept her arms at her side, watching as he rolled the condom on his enormous length. While his size would be quite beneficial in the future, the first time, with no doubt, would be hell. “I love you too,” she replied before she felt him push inside her. At first, it felt like his fingers, but it was much thicker, and it stretched her walls. Once he pushed past her barrier, tears burst from her eyes, a cry of pain erupting. She remained silent, crying softly as he stretched her. Right now, there was no pleasure. There was only pain. Given, she expected that, but it felt worse than she had first imagined.
Finn felt immediately like the shittiest guy in the world once Rachel started to cry. “Shhh, I’m sorry baby, I told you that we shouldn’t have done this.” Finn said, panicked at the fact that she was crying and he just wanted to stop the pain for her. “I-I can pull out if you want. We don’t have to do this now if you don’t want to cause holy fucking shit you’re crying.” Finn said, reaching up to wipe her tears away. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you, I promise.” Finn kept murmuring. “W-We should just stop now cause obviously I can’t do this…” Finn started to ramble nervously, not sure about what to do.
Rachel had never felt this much physical pain in her life. It was like her body was being torn apart from the inside. She clutched onto him tightly, burying her head in the crook of his neck, slowly accommodating to his size. Clenching her teeth, she shook her head when he said they should stop. “No, no, I- I have to adjust to you,” she said shakily as she held into Finn for dear life. After another minute or so, the pain faded, and it was replaced by something more soothing and pleasurable. “Baby… you can move now. Please don’t pull out,” she told him, taking a deep breath.
Finn tried to remain as still as he can when Rachel said that she just needed to adjust to him. He sighed and began to pepper kisses along her neck, as if he was trying to soothe her. He tried to be as gentle as possible, keeping his hips still until she said that he could start to move, but not to pull out. He began to move his hips slowly back and forth, looking for signs of pain from Rachel, trying to not push in to hard when it finally hit him, they were doing it; they were making love. Every single thing they’ve been through led up to this moment, this moment of pure love. They were in the most intimate position possible. As he moved his hips Finn kissed Rachel’s shoulder. “I love you baby.
Rachel knew she wasn’t making a mistake. Finn was the right guy for her, and there was no doubt about it. He was so gentle and loving towards her in such an important moment, and she didn’t think it was possible to love him any more than she did in that moment. As he moved his hips, she wrapped her arms around his back, still nuzzling her head in his neck. She gasped softly at the new sensation, feeling her breath getting caught in her throat. We’re having sex. We’re actually ..no. We’re making love. It only it her then what was happening, and she was in awe. They had been in so much pain together, but in that moment, connected in the most intimate way possible, they still loved each other. Rachel had no regrets in choosing him, not one. She lifted up his chin to kiss him again, widening her legs as he moved inside her. Despite the initial pain, he felt amazing inside her. Her body shook as she enveloped him, kissing him tenderly. “I love you so much,” she moaned, sighing against him.
Finn started to move a little faster once he felt Rachel relax around him, finally knowing that she was feeling more pleasure instead of pain. Every single fight, every day that went by, every tear that was shed, it all lead up to this moment. This moment that was filled with pure love and intimacy. Finn’s hips started to snap faster, but still gently, wanting to push Rachel over the edge. He wanted to do this for her, the first time that they finally made love. Finn’s hand reached down in between their bodies and Finn pressed on her clit as her moans got louder and her grip on him became tighter. He could feel the coil that was building up in his stomach and he knew he was close to falling over the edge. Finn continuously rub her clit to try to elicit an orgasm for her. “Come with me baby.”
Rachel bit her lip when he moved faster, wrapping a leg around his waist to get him closer. This allowed him to be even deeper, causing her to moan loudly. “Y- You feel so amazing,” she murmured. There was actually no real word to describe how she was feeling. It felt like her entire world was right there above her. Her nails dug into his back as the tension in her body built. She panted, losing her breath as she kissed him again. Whining softly, she ached for more. Thankfully, he fulfilled her and touched her. She arched into him, gasping softly. Breathjng heavily, she felt herself coming closer and closer to release. But she wanted them to come together. “F- Finn,” she whimpered softly as she continued to moan. Then, her mouth formed into an ‘o’ and she came, holding onto Finn for dear life as she released.
Finn continued to move inside Rachel when suddenly her walls started clenching around him and it was all he needed for that coil in his stomach to snap. He came inside Rachel, moving his hips until they had both completely ridden out their orgasms. Finn collapsed on Rachel, extremely worn out and tired from what was probably the best orgasm he had ever experienced in his life. He lay there panting, covering Rachel’s body with his until he finally grew limp inside her. He pulled out slowly and frowned when he saw the blood. He looked up at Rachel with apologetic eyes. “I’m sorry.” Finn murmured, kissing her forehead before standing up to dispose of the condom. Once it was gone, he climbed into bed behind Rachel and spooned her from behind. “Thank you. That was awesome.” Finn said into her hair, chuckling a little and pressing a kiss to the back of her head.
Rachel panted heavily as he lay on top of her, trying to catch her breath. She had nothing to compare it to, given that it was her first time, but it was spectacular. The pain was unavoidable, and while excruciating, it had dulled into something amazing. In a way, it was like their time together. It was painful and hard, but now, they were together and happy. He pulled out and she saw the blood, gasping softly. She had forgotten about that part, but she shook her head when Finn apologized. She turned to her side, feeling something different in her body than before. She had finally let down her walls, thanks to Finn. When he returned, she smiled, laying back against him. “That was perfect,” she murmured, tears coming to her eyes. “You’re the best boyfriend ever,” she told him, turning her head slightly.
Finn turned to look at Rachel and frowned at the tears in her eyes. “Hey, hey, hey. Don’t cry alright? I don’t like it when you cry.” Finn whispered, nudging his nose against hers. Finn reached down for the comforter and pulled it over them as he reached for her hand, lacing their fingers together. “Thank you, for giving me that. I mean, I know it was a really big deal for you and I-I’m glad that you can trust me with something as big as that.” Finn said sincerely, smiling before leaning down to press a kiss to her lips. This prom had it’s moments, but this one definitely topped everything. “Let’s go to sleep alright? Then maybe in the morning we’ll order some room service.” Finn murmured, reaching over to close the lamp and spooning Rachel, his leg resting in between hers as he fell into a dreamless, love-induced, slumber.
Rachel wasn’t crying sad tears. They were happy tears, from awe of having such an amazing man in her life. He may have been the bad boy of the school, but with her, he was such a sweetheart. From the tiniest kisses on her skin to the way he nudged his nose against hers, she couldn’t believe he was hers. “They’re happy tears.” She took a second, wiping her eyes as she rested against him. “You know… I told myself that I would give myself to the person that was my soulmate… and.. I did just that. I love you so much, Finn. I don’t regret choosing you.” Rachel nodded to his suggestion, cuddling against him. She was tired not only from the sex, but the night in general, and she wanted a good night’s sleep. But this time, when she woke in the morning, he would be there right beside her. With a smile on her face she closed her eyes, lacing their fingers together as she fell asleep in the arms of her lover. This night was truly one to remember.
