After the failed mission and his first encounter with wolfsbane, Kole wanted to do nothing more than to curl into himself. He had called into work and told them that he was sorry for missing one of his shifts but he came down with a nasty bug. Because he was a good worker - and they didn’t have alot of people actually working - they didn’t fire him. They also gave him his next two shifts off which meant Kole had a bit of time to just not do anything. Still, he was worried. He was worried about control. What would happen if he couldn’t control what happened next? It might be met with devastating consequences. He also knew that a full moon was coming. Kole had been through his share and in the past he would just go to the woods in Wyoming and run. It was the easiest solution. No one would ask where he was except maybe his foster parents but after a while they did not care either. Kole figured he would go to the preserve but with the Acetta’s more than likely being on edge, that might not be a good idea. Still, he laid on his couch without a solid plan - wanting to just go eat something and forget everything else. @talblack​

He was annoyed still. Yet, he couldn’t say no to her. Not when she was like this. “Well, I’m not staying in the apartment with you. You can come to my house. Lydia will be there. Probably sleeping. She does that a lot right now.” Stiles motioned to his jeep. “Come on. I’m sure there is something of Lydia’s you can sleep in. I’ll make the couch up for you.” There fight had kept both of them far from each other. He was still mad about how destructive she was being. Regardless, he knew she was feeling alone. Xavier was working ridiculous hours lately, as was his father, due to the electricity being off for so long. Once they were in the jeep, Stiles turned it on before turning to her. “Have you still been getting high all the time? Are you going to tell your boyfriend?” He wondered if there was something going on there. Were they not seeing each other enough? That would definitely cause problems and he worried about Talia if they broke up. Obviously she could stay at his house or whatever. Even if he was still pretty pissed. He pushed that thought out though. They seemed really in love. Stiles turned the jeep on and backed out before heading to the road. “Tell me what’s going on, T.”

Rory did not know what to think. Suddenly everything that she ever read about had the potential to be more than just a fairy tale. How did it happen? How could one person just...turn into some sort of creature? Rory had been sitting there, just minding her own business, when she witnessed that. She was frozen with confusion and fear and whatever the creature was left without even noticing her. She had gone straight to the public library and picked out a few books on supernatural creatures before printing out a few pages from websites she found. Now, however, she was sitting on the steps of said library and just looking over everything. She couldn’t go home. Her mother wouldn’t be there anyway. She never was. Plus, Aurora was incredibly jumpy at the moment. She bit her lip as she read about banshees. They couldn’t be real, right? Surely that was even too much? Her head was hurting with all the new information and if she could she would ask someone but who would even know? She wasn’t close to anyone, not yet, and therefore she didn’t trust a single soul in Beacon Hills.

Today was much busier than usual. Kole was not bothered, not really, and he kept his smile and level head the best he could. He didn’t really get many customers who were too rude - but even when they did happen occasionally, he tried not to let it get to him. After all, they saw him as a cog in a machine instead of a real person. Which sucked. “That’ll be thirty-two dollars and sixty-seven cents,” he told the girl at the register. She was batting her eyes at him but he was not interested. Dating wasn’t something he thought he would be able to easily do again. It would take a lot to make his heart trust someone. She left and he moved from the register to put some clothes up. The story was a bit dead for the moment so he needed to keep himself busy. Kole looked up and noticed Talia right outside of Macy’s. Kole lit up. “Talia!” he practically shouted as he rushed to the entrance. She was out of his store in the main part of the mall and he couldn’t cross the threshold so he waited. “Hey!” @talblack

His control had never been the best. He had been aware of that and had took precautions everywhere he lived. It was part of the reason why so many people thought there was something wrong with him. It was part of the reason he never had many friends. Sure, he wanted them, but when you disappear every full moon, kids start thinking something is wrong with you. The weirdest rumor about him was that he was a member of a secret cult that performed rituals on the full moon. So weird and yet not as weird as the truth. Now that he was in Beacon Hills, he wasn’t sure where he should go. He had always found an abandoned building or somewhere else he could keep himself locked up. Maybe he could control it now. Every year he had gotten better. Maybe...

The full moon was up and Kole could feel the signs creeping up his back like an unwanted insect. He did what his instincts told him to do - he ran. He was in the preserve soon after. Kole was hoping keeping his mind off of it - thinking about anything but - would help. And if he did change? At least he was out here...

He looked up and spotted a familiar face. Talia. “Um...fancy meeting you here...” he started, the beads of sweat dripping down his face and body. He was only in a pair of joggers. @talblack

So much had happened and Stiles wasn’t even sure how to process it. He didn’t want to go crying to Lydia or anything like that because he knew that she would start trying to protect him again by shielding him from the uglier sides of the Four Horsemen. That wasn’t fair to him, however, Lydia was doing it out of love. He didn’t want it to go back to how it was before. Stiles had always been an integral part of the pack by always helping with investigating. To lose that now would render him useless. Scott could be trusted but he knew he had a lot on his plate right now. Instead, Stiles just started driving. He wanted to punch something, kick something, do something. it was almost unfair the way their lives were all going. Stiles took a deep breath and looked around. He was near Talia’s apartment but he kept driving. He knew that he shouldn’t be driving in his state and the irony of being killed in a car accident when he had survived so much worse was not lost on him. After driving another ten minutes he realized his jeep was not doing good so he pulled over and turned it off just as it started to rain. @talblack

Stiles liked being on a sort of patrol around Beacon Hills. It kept him busy while Lydia was either at the hospital or the sheriff’s station. He had a walkie talkie that would connect him with his dad - or Lydia if she happened to be there - so he was pretty content. He offered words of encouragement and safety to those who were innocent and tried to keep those who wanted to fall into dissent out of that frame of mind. It might have seemed a little vigilante like but he was always fond of the rogue superheros. Stiles heard something so he ducked behind a tree to see what was going on. At first he couldn’t tell what was happening. He heard a voice and then he was called out. “Okay, fine, Talia. But, in my defense, I did not know it was you. I’m just trying to keep the streets as safe as possible.”
