{ ` ♕ trapped between the walls — jiyeon & areum
This was a lot harder than she thought.
Areum was aware that getting out of such a well-protected therapeutic center like ’True Solutons’ wasn’t one of the most easily accomplishable things – assuming that it was accomplishable at all in the first place. When the idea of trying to find a secret passage, a hole in the wall, or anything really that could help her escape this damn place forever first formed in her mind, she had no idea how impossible it was to achieve. Of course, she believed it wouldn’t be easy to find a way to get out of here, but she was almost one-hundred percent sure that there was a way at least.
But now that she had found herself ending up next to the same door for the fourth time, Areum finally started to see daylight. She wasn’t sure if she could somehow find a way out of here anymore and her original idea sounded really stupid now. The girl let a deep sigh escape her lips as she leaned her back on the wall. She didn’t want to accept the fact that she was being forced to stay here, in this house of fools, only because she had fallen in love with a girl. And because her best friend betrayed her, who did it to get revenge on Areum (the girl she was in love with, as the patient had later found out) for loving someone else but her. Thinking of this, Areum’s head started to hurt so she tried to distract her mind. She didn’t want to remember the day when this nightmare had started. She didn’t want to remember her parents’ repulsive face and disappointed words, she didn’t want to remember the moment her ex-best friend told her the actual reason for her betrayal, she didn’t want any of these thoughts to sit in her mind. Not that she could escape them; ever since she had arrived here, she couldn’t help but try to find out where everything went wrong.
Areum pushed herself from the wall, determined to try again. She let her eyes study the windows and their bars, desperately hoping to find one which wasn’t in its old, perfect shape anymore, one she could perhaps remove from its place somehow. She walked closer to the nearest window and looked around carefully, making sure no one was around before leaning down to examine the bars, looking for a crack or anything such that.
