It had been quite some time since Ashton heard about Ava and Marley making up. He'd see them around the apartment a few times doing cute things for each other, sitting unusually close, cuddling while watching a movie, even though they both thought he was out. They weren't official, and he understood completely why they didn't want to be caught yet. But what he didn't understand was the fact that they can do all of those things with each other, yet, they won't become the couple both of them wanted to be. Ashton knew he was going to have to give either of them a push in doing so. They were both too stubborn to do it themselves. He peeked his head around the corner and saw Marley laying on her bed, reading her book contently. A soft smile formed on his face as he walked away and into the kitchen area where he grabbed a soda from the fridge and a small bag of chips before jumping on the couch in the other room beside one of his best friends. "We need to talk." Ashton said, grabbing the remote and shutting the television off, knowing it was a risky thing to do with Ava. "About you and Marley." He kept his voice low so the other girl wouldn't hear their conversation and come wandering in in the middle of it. "I know you two have a thing for each other. Why haven't either of you done anything about it?" He opened his drink and chips, taking a long sip before shoving the snack in his mouth. "How do you feel about her?" He was no therapist or whatever, so he had absolutely no clue on how to start this conversation. But Ashton knew it had to happen and if it didn't happen now, it may never occur again. "And you're not getting out of this."
Notes: Chris Facetimes Lea. Concerns, promises and plans to confuse Darren arise.
Chris sat down, closing his laptop and opening his contact list on his phone. He opened Lea's contact, before pressing FaceTime.
Lea smiled when Chris's name appeared on her phone, answering it and giving a small wave. "Well hello there Ducky. To what do I owe the pleasure?"
Chris grinned. "I still don't get the whole Ducky thing, Lea."
Lea shrugged. "Well, ducks are cute and so are you. Therefore, Ducky."
Chris grinned. "I'm not as cute as ducks, but alrighty. How are you, baby mama?"
Lea shook her head. "You're cuter. I'm pretty good actually, you?"
Chris sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'm having sleeping problems, as usual. Not to mention i'm still trying to get over the fact Darren invited his ex to the show last night."
Lea frowned a little at that. "Have you tried sleeping pills? As for the whole Mia thing...maybe you should talk to Darren about it. I wish I could have stayed with you guys longer now."
"I've tried sleeping pills, Lea." Chris put his head on his hands. "And no, he wants to get along with her and his friends. I'm all for that, because i hate to seem him so upset about it.. I mean, i know Darren wouldn't actually do anything like that to hurt me.." His eyes shot down as he said that, not looking at the camera.
"Chris, look at me." Lea commanded softly. "You know Darren won't do anything like that to you, especially since he's been in that situation before. He loves you, more than anything. Anyone can see that. Trust him. Plus you know I'll happily murder anyone who hurts you."
Chris smiled at that. "It's not that i don't have faith in him.." He bit his lip. "I think my moms starting to get to me again. I haven't heard from her in months, yet the last time i did.. It scared the hell out of me and Dar. I think all the insecurities she gave me are coming back, because they fill my mind when my head hits the pillow.."
Lea huffed at the mention of Chris's mother. "I hate that woman. I think if I ever see her, I shouldn't be held responsible for my actions. You can't let her get to you, it's what she wants."
"I just hear her voice." Chris said softly. "Sleeping pills, warm milk.. None of it is good enough to shut her up." He bit his lip. "Lea, can i tell you something?"
"Oh Chris. I wish I could make it go away somehow." Lea muttured sadly. "Of course, anything."
Chris looked down. "..i only got two hours of sleep the night before Darren's show."
Lea frowned. "Chirs...that's really not healthy, especially if that's going on every night. Maybe you should talk to someone? A professional?"
Chris shook his head. "No, you can't tell anyone. I don't even want Darren to know, it'll worry him during tour. I'll tell him when it's over with. Please don't tell."
Lea bit her lip before nodding. "Only if you promise to tell him as soon as the tour is over."
Chris nodded. "I promise."
Lea sighed before smiling a little. "Now, can I tell you some good news that I didn't mention in New York?"
Chris grinned. "Yes! Good news is always.. Good."
Lea nodded. "Weeelll, I got sunburn the other day and Cory came over to help me with the aloe and well...we may have kissed and he might have stayed the night."
Chris cheered. "Oh my God, Lea that's awesome! I'm so happy for you!"
Lea laughed a little. "We're not back togethere yet but I don't think we'll be apart much longer."
Chris suddenly frowned. "But i want Monchele."
Lea shook her head in amusment. "Be patient, young one."
Chris rolled his eyes, smiling. "Says the person who hid a condom in Darren's trailer when we were practicing lines before we got together."
Lea laughed at that. "wait...how did you know that was me?"
Chris sighed. "Considering i found the box of condoms in your trailer that were the same brand, i kinda figured. You know how awkward it was when he found that thing?"
"You two were so obvious about your feelings...I was just trying to help." Lea shrugged a little. "Did you use it though?"
Chris smirked. "Not that day, no.."
Lea laughed. "See, it did come in useful then!"
Chris rolled his eyes, grinning. "Hush up, you."
Lea shook her head. "Nope. I'm just waiting for the wedding and babies now!"
Chris grinned, eyebrow arching. "Then your life will be complete?"
Lea nodded. "well, half complete. It'll be complete after I marry Cory and have his babies."
Chris giggled. "Then MY life will be complete."
Lea smiled. "Of course, you'll get to be Uncle Chris...and Godfather of course!"
Chris laughed. "Sounds good!"
Lea grinned. "So when do I get to see some Crisscolfer babies?"
Chris giggled. "Um.. I don't know. Couple years, maybe?"
Lea pouted. "Making me wait for cute babies. Psh."
Chris stuck his tongue out at her. "If we don't adopt, i'm letting Darren be to biological father. No way am i passing down these traits."
Lea nodded a little. "You can't not pass on the hair. What route do you think you guys will take? Adoption or surrogacy?"
Chris thought for a moment. "I wouldn't mind doing both, you know? But adopting might be hard, because i'd be afraid to answer any questions about their real parents.."
Lea nodded at that. "Yeah...thay would be a little hard wouldn't it? I think you two would make amazing parents though."
Chris smiled. "Yeah, Darren would be an amazing daddy.. Of course, the kids would call him papa. I'm daddy, no exceptions."
Lea laughed a little. "Oh but of course. I can't imagine you with any other name."
Chris grinned. "Right? And i would totally tease him by calling him Papa Dar."
Lea laughed. "We should just start randomly calling him that now!"
Chris giggled. "He wouldn't know what it means, and that would be seriously hilarious. If we do, don't you dare tell him! I love confusing him!" He laughed.
Lea nodded in agreement. "My lips are sealed. I say we do it and see how long it takes him to catch on."
Chris grinned. "So it's a plan."
"He's going to be so very confused." Lea laughed.
Chris laughed with her. "Very. And it'll be hilarious."
Lea grinned. "Oh, he'll love us."
Chris smiled. "So, what're you up to this fine day?"
Lea shrugged. "Not a lot other than the photoshoot for Glee. What about you, lovely?"
Chris hummed. "I took a nap today. That's about it. It only lasted for about thirty minutes though."
Lea frowned a little. "Well..some sleep is better than none, I guess.
Chris yawned lightly at the mention of sleep. As the camera came in focus, the bags under his eyes were more noticeable.
Lea frowned at that. She was starting to become really worried for Chris. "Is there any way I can help you with sleep?"
Chris shook his head. "I'm fine, Lea. I should get ready for tonight." He rubbed his eyes.
Lea sighed a little. "Okay...just promise me you'll let me know if you need anything. Anything at all."
Chris yawned. "Yeah, sure baby mama.." He smiled lightly.
Lea smiled softly. "Try and get some sleep tonight, Ducky."
