After she and Isaac had arrived back at school, Scarlett didn't really know what to do with herself. She knew she had to get her face fixed -- Isaac kept insisting on taking her to the infirmary, but she didn't want to go there. They would ask questions and she didn't have the energy or the right frame of mind to sit and lie about what had happened. Her brain still felt like it was spinning and shifting, and she was still struggling to piece together exactly what had just happened. It felt as if a part of her were broken, something deeper than just her face. She just needed someone to sit and fix whatever damage had been done without asking a million questions about it. Which is why she decided to go to Vera.
She felt strangely comfortable around the biology teacher, especially after having dinner with her and the...strange happenings afterwards. She'd never expected to like the woman as much as she did, but at that moment she was glad for it. It was a Sunday and Scarlett didn't really know if she'd be at the school, or at home, but she decided to start the search at Vera's classroom. And luckily, she was there. Knocking on the door softly she waited a second before opening the door and walking inside, closing the door behind her and taking a breath before speaking. "Hey, Vera, can I ask you a favour?"
