X and Y | Rachel + Santana
Santana hadn't actually intended Rachel to make some kind of implication for them to meet when she'd sent her the text about struggling with her Math. The truth was that her dad had returned that morning and thrown a rather large tantrum at the state of the house which had caused Santana to lash back viciously. She’d been in such a hurry to get out of there that she didn’t truly realise where she’d been heading until she’d pulled up the car beside the beach front and made the short walk along the sand. The pier was busy as usual but beneath the wooden frame it was cool and vacant. She may have even been content there if her workbooks hadn’t been displaying how she clearly had no chance of passing. For once she was actually trying and it wasn’t working for her. In fact, Rachel was a welcome relief. She’d been thinking about her a lot since their last encounter and she had admitted to herself that she was very serious about taking her on a date. Santana didn’t usually have feelings and she wasn’t saying she had a crush on Rachel or anything (because Santana Lopez was too cool for crushes) but she liked the companionship of the younger woman. She thought about their kiss and that look in Rachel’s eyes when she’d admitted she was attracted to her. Santana was undeniably attracted to her too. And she got the chance to realise just how much she liked the way the small brunette looked as she rolled to a stop at the end of the road in the place she’d told Rachel to meet her. “Looking for a ride, Berry? I could take you places even Aladdin’s magic carpet couldn’t,” She said with a small smile as she pushed her sunglasses up onto her head. “I’m not interrupting your really busy schedule am I? Heaven forbid,”
