If you've been on the internet long enough, then you've probably heard about Hatoful Boyfriend. The pigeon dating sim has gained mimetic status, though actually finding similarly ridiculous dating sims not made by Western developers has proven difficult. Dating pigeons is hard to top. It may just be that translation for these titles is slow, because it took PacaPlus, a game originally released thirteen days after Hatoful Boyfriend in 2011, six years to get an English translation. What's notable about it, though, is that PacaPlus isn't the same sort of lunacy as Hatoful Boyfriend. It's a surprisingly normal story.

PacaPlus Release Date Announced

Sekai Project will release PacoProject’s PacaPlus on Steam this March 30th!

The game will be available for Windows PC as an all-ages only title.

Synopsis:

The story follows a certain Kazuma Saeki who is living an ordinary high school life. Surrounded by friends, especially his cute girlfriend Yukari Izumi, his school days could not be any better. However, on a bus ride back from "Alpaca Kingdom" he wakes up from a nap and finds that it's not Yukari that's sitting next to him but an alpaca. An alpaca that talks exactly like Yukari in fact... PacaPlus Hits Steam Greenlight

Sekai Project recently put PacaPlus, a romantic parody by Paco Project, on Steam Greenlight! The game is 100% translated and edited while engine and QA work is currently listed as “in progress.”

A release date for PacaPlus has not been announced at this time.
