Finally finished up Dragon Age: Inquisition, + all the DLCs, Descend, Jaws of Hakkon and Tresspasser with my Inquisitor, Arven Adaar, Qunari who fell love with certain Tevinter mage, Dorian Pavus. Screenshots of their romance.

Two years go by and absence of Dorian left Arven in somber mood to point of depressed almost despite the letters, it wasn´t helping that he was still forced to work as Inquisitor, role he never wanted or that of Herald. Then it´s time for Exalted Council and reunion.

Post-game: Arven and Dorian get engaged, despite the sending crystal Arven´s still unhappy after disbanding Inquisition, he yearned for Dorian´s company, two did travel when they got the chance, looking for way to restore Arven´s lost forearm. ( Mostly because I didn´t consent to amputation. ) During this Dorian did act as source of comfort for Arven as lost limb did also cause his fiance misery. They eventually found the way, ritual in some old and forgotten ruins. ( Basically Regeneration from D&D. ) It did drain Dorian but in his opinion; Totally worth it, Arven decided after that stay in Tevinter, whatever Dorian wanted it or not, wedding happened soon after their return to Minrathous. Of course he left during Veilguard to help the south but returned once Evanuris were defeated and Solas was binded to Veil. Arven was mournful when he heard Varric´s and Solas´ fates but he was also happy to be alive and back right on his now Archon´s and husband´s side.

I love that a part of the romance with Dorian is seeing through his sarcasm. He'll say something to deflect and the Inquisitor will go "okay now what did you really want to say?" or "It's okay to be upset about this" bc the Inquisitor can see right through his excuses (and I think Dorian's grateful for it sometimes) I just love them ok

Arven and Dorian across the ten years.

Skyhold: After escaping from Haven Arven caught up with Dorian in Skyhold, two had met previously in Redcliffe village where Qunari had laid his eyes on mage as he was fighting off demons in village´s chantry. Two eventually fell love for everyone´s surprise while causing worry in people like Mother Giselle who was concerned if Tevinter mage was just using Inquisitor some way. Dorian did admire Arven´s bravery and sympathized him having to carry such heavy burden on shoulders as Inquisitor and ´Herald of Andraste` against his will. Arven in meanwhile well love with Dorian´s wit and charming personality as they also developed strong friendship as Qunari was curious of north, magic and world around him overrall.

Post-Trespasser: After events of Exalted Council Dorian and Arven get enganged while Qunari remains south despite wanting to go with Dorian who is now magister. During the few years of their engagement they travelled across Thedas when they could to look way to restore Arven´s hand. During these few years Dorian offered his fiance comfort and solace whenever he needed it. Eventually they found old forgotten ruins that held ritual that allowed one to regain lost limb. Dorian managed to perform, restoring Arven´s forearm like it was before Anchor. Two returned to Tevinter and this time Qunari decided to stay with his beloved mage permanently as he didn´t want to be away from him anymore. Dorian happily welcomed him and two married soon after.

Post-Veilguard: After Elgar´nan and Ghilan´nain were stopped Arven returned from south where now Archon Pavus waited his husband with open arms. After hearing what came of Varric and Solas old memories and mental wounds returned to haunt him. Suffering from terrible nightmares of his Anchor slowly killing him, sometimes accompanied if phantom pain in his restored arm as if Anchor was still present still. Dorian would still after many years comfort his amatus through it all best he could. As two now lived Archon Palace Arven had decided to train new guards personally in arts of combat despite the fact Dorian was happy to let him just lounge around as Qunari had done more than enough and wanted him want for nothing after such long time of suffering and serving.
