তালিকার এই সেতুটিও পাকিস্তানে অবস্থিত। শুধু বিপজ্জনক সেতু বললেও ভুল হবে, হুসেইনি সেতুকে অনায়াসে পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বিপজ্জনক সেতুর একটি হিসেবে ধরে নেয়া যেতে পারে। ব্রিটিশ শাসনামলে নির্মিত এই সেতুটি শুধুমাত্র পায়ে হেঁটে পার হওয়ার জন্য নির্মিত, যার ফলে এই সেতু দিয়ে গাড়িঘোড়া চালানোর কোনও সুযোগ নেই। কিন্তু ৩৯৯ টি কাঠের তক্তা দিয়ে বানানো এই ঝুলন্ত সেতুর উপর দিয়ে পায়ে হেঁটে পার হতে গেলেও, আপনার বুক ধকধক করবেই। সেতুর নিচে ক্ষড়স্রোতা নদী এবং প্রতিটি ধাপের মাঝে বড় বড় গ্যাপ, সেইসাথে ঝুলন্ত সেতুর দোলনি আপনাকে ভয় পাইয়ে দিতে পারে খুব সহজেই।

সিদু নদীর সেতু হল একটি ১,২২২ মিটার দীর্ঘ সেতু, যা চীনের হুবেই প্রদেশের বা সিদু নদীর উপত্যকা অতিক্রম করেছে। প্রায় একশো মিলিয়ন ডলার খরচ করে নির্মাণ করা এই সেতুটি জনসাধারণের জন্য উন্মুক্ত করা হয় ২০০৯ সালে।
তালিকার প্রথম দুটি সেতুর চাইতে এই সেতুর বয়স যেমন অনেক কম, ঠিক তেমনি এই সেতু নির্মানের সময় ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে অত্যাধুনিক প্রযুক্তিরও। তাহলে কেন এই সেতু পৃথিবীর বিপজ্জনক সেতুর একটি হয়ে গেলো? এর উত্তর হচ্ছে, সিদু নদীর এই সেতুটি পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে উঁচু সেতু হিসেবে স্বীকৃত। প্রায় হাজার ফুট উপরে নির্মিত এই সেতু থেকে নিচে পড়ে গেলে, আপনার মৃত্যু নিশ্চিত।
তবে চাইনিজ কর্তৃপক্ষ এই সেতুকে একদম নিরাপদ বলে বলে থাকেন। আর এই কথাও সত্য যে সেতুটি দেখতে বিপজ্জনক মনে হলেও, এই সেতু চীনের দুটি গুরুত্বপুর্ন এলাকায় সংযোগ স্থাপন করতে সাহায্য করেছে। পূর্বে এই অঞ্চলের মানুষদের যাতায়াত এবং পণ্য আদান প্রদান ব্যবস্থার যেই সমস্যা ছিলো, সিদু নদীর উপরে বানানো এই উঁচু সেতুর জন্য আজ সেই সমস্যাগুলো একদমই নেই।
এশিমা ওহাশি সেতু/ Eshima Ohashi Bridge
এশিমা ওহাশি ব্রিজ হল পশ্চিম জাপানের তাতোরি অঞ্চলের একটি 1.1 মাইল দীর্ঘ সেতু। সেতুটি ১৯৯৭ সালে তৈরি করা শুরু হয়েছিল, যার নির্মাণ ২০০৪ সালে শেষ হয়। এই সেতুটি এর খাড়া আকারের জন্য অনেক বেশি বিখ্যাত। এর একটি ছবি অনলাইনে ভাইরাল হয়, যেখানে এই সেতুটিকে দেখে মনে হচ্ছিলো এই সেতু সোজা আকাশের দিকে উঠে গেছে।
জাপানের এই সেতুটি দিয়ে প্রতিদিন ৪০০০ গাড়ির বেশি যাতায়াত করতে পারেনা। জাপান সরকার এখানকার পুরোনো সেতুর জায়গায় এশিমা ওহাশি সেতু স্থাপন করে, আর এর রক্ষার জন্য অনেকগুলো নিয়মও জারি রাখা হয়েছে।
এশিমা ওহাশি সেতু বিপজ্জনক কিনা, তা বলা যাবে না। তবে দূর থেকে এর উঁচু গড়ণ দেখে যে কারও বুক ধরফর করতে বাধ্য।
রয়াল গর্জ সেতু/ royal gorge bridge
কলোরাডোর ক্যানন সিটির নিকটে নির্মিত এই সেতুটিকে বিংশ শতাব্দীর অন্যতম সেরা নির্মাণের একটি বললেও কম বলা হবে। মূলত একটি টুরিস্ট স্পট হিসেবে তৈরি করা এই সেতুটির দৈর্ঘ্য ১২৬০ ফুট এবং উচ্চতা প্রায় ৯৫০ ফুট। প্রায় ১৯০০ টি কাঠের তক্তা দিয়ে বানানো এই সেতুটির অবস্থান আরকানসাস নদীর উপরে।
এই সেতুটি পর্যটকদের এমন এক সৌন্দর্যে ভরা দৃশ্য আপনাকে উপহার দিবে, যা আপনি অন্য কোনও সেতু থেকে পাবেন বলে মনে হয় না। তবে কাঠ এবং লোহা দিয়ে বানানো এই সেতুটি যেমন একদিকে দৃষ্টিনন্দন, তেমনি এটি বিপজ্জনকও বলা যায়। মাটি থেকে কয়েকশো ফুট উঁচু এই সেতুটির মাঝে গেলে আপনার মনে হবে, হৃদপিন্ড যেন ধুকপুক করতে করতে আপনার হাতে এসে যাচ্ছে।
রয়াল গর্জ সেতুর কর্তৃপক্ষ অবশ্য বলছে যে এই সেতু একদম নিরাপদ। তবে বিপদ তো আর বলে আসে না, তাই না?
সেভেন মাইল সেতু/ Seven Mile Bridge
নাম শুনেই বলে দেয়া যায় যে ফ্লোরিডার এই সেতুটি প্রায় ৭ মাইল লম্বা। হলিউডের অনেক সিনেমার একশন সিন এর শুটিং ধারণ করার জন্য এই সেতুর আলাদা কদর রয়েছে। তবে সবকিছু ছাড়িয়ে এই সেতুর সবচেয়ে বড় বৈশিষ্ঠ্যই হচ্ছে এর দীর্ঘ আকার।
ফ্লোরিডার মারিনা প্রদেশে অবস্থিত এই সেতুটি ১৯১২ সালে নির্মান করা হলেও, বর্তমানে যেই সেতুটি দেখতে পাওয়া যায়, তা বানানো হয় ১৯৮২ সালের দিকে। পর্যটকদের পছন্দের এই সেতুটির দুটি অংশ রয়েছে, যার একটিতে পর্যটকেরা পায়ে হেটে সেতু ঘুরে দেখতে পারে। অন্য অংশটি শুধুমাত্র গাড়ি চলাচলের জন্য বানানো।
সেতুর নিচে প্রায় ৬৫ ফুট জায়গা খালি রাখা হয়েছে, যাতে সমুদ্রের জাহাজ এবং অন্যান্য সামুদ্রিক যানবাহন এর নিচে দিয়ে যাওয়া আসা করতে পারে। এত সুবিধার পরেও সেভেন মাইল সেতু এই তালিকায় স্থান করে নিয়েছে, কারন এই সেতুর মাঝখানে গাড়ি থামানোর কোনও সুযোগ রাখা হয়নি। আর এইজন্য মাঝেমধ্যেই এই সেতুতে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা ঘটতে দেখা যায়। সর্বশেষ ২০১৫ তে এই সেতুতে দুর্ঘটনায় একটা গাড়িতে আগুন পর্যন্ত লেগে গিয়েছিলো।
ডিসেপশন পাস সেতু/ Deception Pass Bridge
ওয়াশিংটনের হুইটবি এবং হিডালগো দ্বীপের মধ্যে যোগাযোগের একমাত্র মাধ্যম ছিলো ফেরি। তাই দুই দ্বীপের যোগাযোগকে সহজ করার কথা মাথায় রেখেই ডিসেপশন পাস সেতুর নির্মাণ শুরু হয় ১৯৩৪ সালে এবং এর পূর্ণাঙ্গ নির্মাণ হয় ১৯৩৫ সালে। এর উচ্চতা ১৭৭ ফুট এবং দৈর্ঘ্য ৮৮০ ফুট । ডিসেপশন পাস সেতু বিশ্বের সর্বোচ্চতম সাসপেনশন সেতু হিসেবে বিখ্যাত ছিল।
দুটি দ্বীপের সংযোগ স্থাপন ছাড়াও এই সেতু এর বিপজ্জনক আকারের জন্যও বিখ্যাত। এর শক্তপোক্ত গড়ণ তৈরিতে গবেষকদের ঘাম ঝড়াতে হয়েছিলো, কারন এই সেতুর প্রধান কাজই ছিলো দুই দ্বীপের যাতায়াত দীর্ঘদিনের জন্য সহজ করে দেয়া।
