Pierce Inferno/Constantine
Kiss & Tell.
The yelling match was heard across Baal's territory but nobody wanted to say anything; Nobody wanted to be in the middle of it.
"Be silent, Pathetic human!" Baal snarled as Ilya stepped right up to him, she didn't even falter as she peered at him, spitting at him. "I won't take orders from the likes of you!" The glare between them snapped as Baal grabbed her throat, growling. "The only reason you're even being allowed to stand in my presence is just so I can watch you die."
"Then, I'm going to be here for a long fucking time." She growled back as she shoved him away from her, Throwing a couple punches although simply because of what Baal was it didn't matter; If it'd been anyone else they'd be flat on the ground. Her wrist hurt, but she hid it, instinctively blocking as Baal moved to backhand her, She shifted across the floor but didn't falter, scoffing at him. "IF you want to see me die so badly why don't you just end it?!" She screamed, spit flying from her lips and tears almost forming in her eyes as she turned away from him, crossing her arms.
"...Don't you humans just kill yourself in these situations?" He asked, Her eyes looking at him as if he'd honestly insulted her. "There's no honor in suicide. It's pathetic." She snapped, softer. "I refuse to die to a lesser opponent...I refuse to die without honor and I refuse to die by my own hand." She stated firmly as her eyes searched the floor.
"And here I thought you didn't know your place... You just admitted that I'm superior to you." He added. He expected another violent reaction out of her but instead, she simply nodded. "I'm at a disadvantage because of genetics." She snorted. "As pathetic as it is..."
Baal didn't really realize he was smirking until it was too late; Ilya quickly becoming annoyed again as she stepped back up to him, slapping him. "Get that stupid fucking look off your face!" He didn't really flinch but grabbed her wrists, Moving and shoving her against the table... Her arms pushed and pulled but she couldn't break his grip. "Are you even trying? Fight back." He watched her, curiosity in his eyes he wouldn't admit to in a thousand years... He wouldn't let curiosity make him become as pathetic as his brother.
Ilya glared at him as she shoved her knee into his stomach, pulled her arms. It wasn't quite enough, Although he shifted to keep her in the place she couldn't quite break his grip... She glared at him as he looked down at her before seeming to make a decision, leaning up and kissing Baal.
He pulled back away from her almost instantly and after a moment a laugh left her lips that she couldn't even swallow back down, sitting up a little. Baal grimaced at first, granted. It was only because she was human... Otherwise. It wasn't that bad.
"Don't you dare ever do that again!" Baal snapped, disgusted by whatever slight feeling he'd just felt...
Ilya snorted, laughing harder. "You act like I'm going to poison you." She shifted onto her feet again and rubbing her wrist a little as she looked up at him... "Perhaps I could even beat you. It'd just be so demeaning." She snorted, laughing at him. Something about it was the right trigger as he grabbed her throat again, shoving her against the wall and kissing her; as if to prove something.
One kiss, Two kiss. The two of them wouldn't admit anything that happened in the room.
All anyone knew was the next morning there was a change in the air between the two...They still fought and argued but something had changed, Maybe, Maybe it had something to do with the fact they kept disappearing together... Baal writing it off as and experiment; training, ---
"Yep. They kissed~" Lust hummed, smiling playfully as she leaned on Paimon's desk in a suggestive manner, her short dress leaving little to the imagination as she ran her fingers through her hair. He'd be angry if it was anyone else...
Paimon covered his face a tiny bit as he chuckled. Lust raising a brow a little. "Not that I'm not supportive of it...But why exactly did you want me to go hang out there of all places?" She asked softly, curiously.
"Baal opted to insult Bella when I went to get into the vault to help her. He went too far... I'm not causing another war with him but it'll be amusing watching him become the biggest hypocrite..." He waved his hand a bit dismissively. "Speaking of Bella, I'd appreciate if you'd leave. She tends to be - perceptible to you." Lust snorted hard as she stood upright, picking up her purse and the envelope that Paimon promised her, smirking. "Psh. As if you're not looking forward to it." She teased, Paimon's face getting a very faint flush as he folded his arms.
So kiss me on the mouth and set me free, But please, don't bite... You can coax the cold right out of me, Drape me in your warmth, The rapture in the dark puts me at ease, The blind eye of the storm...
Christabella + Paimon
Business AU that Kristie made me write
Paimon pinched the bridge of his nose as he listened to the phone call that wasn’t really headed the direction he expected and he felt himself desperately trying to not ruin the third desk this month as the flames licked his fingers… “Figure out a way to convince them not to sign with Constantine or don’t come back to the office.” He snarled a bit into the phone as he slammed it on the receiver that had become warped from the heat his hand extruded. The silence of his office was short lived by the sound of a soft meek little noise that caught his ear as he looked back towards the door…
She was a tiny little familiar thing with blonde hair tied back in a ponytail in an attempt to seem professional with a few loose strands hanging in her face. Her cheeks tinted red with her blue eyes widened. She was wearing a white dress with a matching blue cardigan and white heels. She was trying her best to look clean cut and professional but it was clear she was a bit of a mess in some ways. She was nervous and tense - it probably didn’t help she walked in while he was snapping at someone on the phone. It wasn’t everyday she walked right into his life…
He snapped out of his thoughts as he straightened and smiled slightly as he motioned to the chair. “Sorry, you had to see that… You must be the new hire.” He watched her as she timidly walked to the chair and sat down, nodding. Her eyes scanned him over as he did to her - He was so much more imposing then she expected from his photos. She could see he was trying to be nice but felt the intimation in his presence. She suspected it didn’t take much but a glance for him to scare most people off… His dark skin contrasting against the red shirt and black tie he had on. The black jacket hanging on the back of the chair. His hair slicked back a little bit but it never lasted as a few strands had fallen forward again. His violet eyes felt like they were burning right through her.
“Oh… Uhm.” She finally realized she probably should say something as she straightened in the chair and extended her hand. “Christabella Parker.” She offered the name he already knew quite well but he acted as if he didn’t as he took her hand, his fingers brushing over her soft skin as he couldn’t resist bringing his hand to his lips and gently kissing it. “Paimon Inferno… I suppose you knew that already.” He teased a little as her face remained a soft shade of pink. Her other hand gently placed the paperwork on his desk. “The secretary said you probably didn’t need it but I brought my resume and such… I’m not really qualified for the position you offered to me - A-are you sure you want me to work as your assistant?”
Paimon fudged the rules as soon as he’d seen her resume the first time… It was selfish in a lot of ways but he couldn’t help it. He couldn’t put her in a higher position yet but as his assistant he’d be able to spend quite a bit of time with her. She deserved better than the shit position she’d applied for… He didn’t really particularly care if she did a good job or not but figured she would. Christabella was one to have a good work ethic in any lifetime…
“I know it’s a bit unorthodox but after speaking to your past employers I felt you’d be a perfect fit as the position only just became available.” ‘Avaliable’ usually meant that the past assistant was nothing more than a pile of ash… To be fair. They sold information of his to the Constantines.
“In that case, I’m honored…I’d be more then happy to take the position as well as any training that might need to come with it.” Paimon smiled slightly as she agreed. “When can you start?” He asked after a moment and she shrugged a little. “As soon as possible would be ideal.” He wanted her to stay - so that worked out. He didn’t really know what to have her do at the moment before coming up with something even if it was a bit stupid. “I’ll have tech bring you a laptop… I have to sort out my schedule for the next few weeks and I’d appreciate the help.” He stated as he lifted the phone up again to do just that.
A few days quickly turned into a couple months. Christabella hummed softly as she sat on the big leather chair without the tension she’d had on her first day, her feet tucked up underneath herself as she typed on the laptop. She did better than he had any expectation for the job. He’d found himself incredibly productive aside from the fact he kept getting distracted, staring at her. She was adorable - Well she was anyways… But once he convinced her that the dress code didn’t really matter to her position and he didn’t mind if she wore what was comfortable for her. The bunny hoodie was a bit silly but he couldn’t help but smile everytime he glanced over at her talking so seriously yet in a bunny hoodie and pastel skirt.
“Excuse me?” Her tone was that of a parent annoyed at a child as she cut the man off who’d been on the line. “Personally, Mister Kavanaugh. I find your behavior deplorable. I’ve done the best I can do to get you in to speak with Mr.Inferno but you seem to be under the impression that your time is more important than his. I was simply going to suggest having your meeting over the phone today but since you’ve decided to speak to my staff and myself in such a way I’m afraid that I will have to let Mr.Inferno know to go ahead with his original plan… He doesn’t have time for this childish behavior.” She was calm and soft spoken but he heard the sounds of Kavanaugh begging her not to hang up on him now and practically in tears as she disconnected the line.
Christabella looked up after making a few notes and rearranging his schedule for a moment, a small smile on her lips as she shyly tucked her hair back. “Ah...I hope you don’t mind how I resolved that… I can have them pull the recording of the conversation but I hardly could even stand to be polite after what he said to Miss Andurgor when she told him you’d gone home since he was late. It was something to the degree of calling her a ‘junkie’ and a ‘dyke’ as well as insulting her intelligence… Clearly with her connections to Mr. Constantine and yourself she’s not working as a janitor because she has to.”
Paimon snorted a bit as he leaned back in his chair. “Hardly… I’ve never heard anyone get through his thick skull. I’ll give him some time to grovel and see if he learns his lesson.”
Christabella smiled softly. “At least give him a hard time for Angeline. She didn’t deserve that. Or at least do it on my behalf for her.” She joked a little bit as Paimon smiled. “Anything for you.” He joked himself although it wasn’t really a joke… She glanced at her laptop for a moment before looking back to him as she shut it. “Looks like we’re both on lunch. Do you want me to pick something up for you?” She asked as she moved to stand up, Paimon glanced briefly at the clock before shifting out of his chair. “Actually… Before you go.” He spoke casually at first. He couldn’t help himself anymore. He tried to take it slow - he didn’t want to freak her out. She paused and naively stared at him trying to figure out what was going on with him only to feel his strong grip slip around her waist and push her back against his desk and before any words could ruin the moment his lips pressed to hers. Much to his glee she didn’t resist him at all… In fact, Her arms slipped up around his neck, pulling him closer after her brief confusion. Despite her innocent demeanor as their lips parted she whispered softly. “I was wondering how much shorter of a skirt I needed…” She teased a bit before her eyes widened as his hand slid up her thigh in response.
Paimon straightened his shirt as he walked out of the building with Christabella trailing behind him, The two both were a bit messy - a few whispers in the halls as they walked beside one another to the elevator where one of his least favorite employees stood, Miren. Her face seemed permanently fused into one of disgust as she glanced at the two as the doors closed, Bella’s hand lightly holding onto Paimon’s arm instinctively but he didn’t bother dismissing it. Miren sneering. “I’ve read the rulebook for workplace interaction and relationships between staff are strictly forbidden.” She stated smugly. Paimon glanced at her with a bored expression. “I’m aware, I wrote the rulebook.” He stated before glancing down at Bella, His hand grasping her jaw lightly yet with direction as he leaned down, kissing her again. Christabella struggling not to start laughing as Miren’s noises of disgust left her lips.
old phone uploads: Sarina adventure :v
The gasp left her mouth sharply. The air filling her lungs was so clear and cooled. Hell wasn't known for a breeze...Well. Unless Samuel felt like it. She watched her silver hair twirling and twisting, the sunshine made her squint but she refused to close her eyes and her bare feet ran across the grass, it was softer than she expected. And the flowers...she let herself fall into them giggling like mad. Samuel shaking his head but smiling as he reached down, patting her head before walking away. He had something to attend to with his brother, Paimon. Sarina just wanted to see the surface...
She laid in the flowers until she adjusted to the sunlight. Her feet sliding across the grass before sitting upright and wandering along the trail years of footsteps created. Humming as she made her way step by step.
The village came into view fairly shortly, it was minuscule. Her feet didn't slow. The grass turning to mud and dirt as she walked, pausing occasionally to peer inside windows. A woman with magenta hair and dull eyes peered at her over her book as she peeked through the library/bookstore window. Or at least the closest thing to one. Sarina hesitated before pushing the door open, peering around. "...How did you get so many..?" She asked childishly. Despite being shy of 15 she hadn't really matured. The woman peered for a moment before shrugging. "Here and there." She replied. She felt like the woman was examining her but with albino skin and hair and purple eyes. It made sense... From what she'd seen most humans were weird looking. Dull. Plain.
Sarina peered at the bookshelves before pausing. "Do you have ones about magic?"
"As...Fairytales?" She asked as she raised a brow.
"No. Spells." She huffed, assuming it was her childlike appearance. "I'm a witch!!"
The woman's eyes narrowed; sighing. "Don't be so loud less you'll be burned." She motioned for her to follow and despite her confusion, she did... As the woman stepped directly through a bookcase she became intrigued. The other room looked nicer with a couch where a large and familiar man with messy hair and cold blue eyes. "Axel? When did you -" the woman paused and motioned towards a shelf before glaring at the man. She heard soft whispers about a death and a fire but none of it made sense. She simply fixated herself on the books, picking up and reading every other one. Then a book glowed, popping off the shelf behind her and smacking her right in the back of her head before hitting the floor. The red-haired woman walking over and lifting it up, curiously peering at it. "This one is locked." She mentioned as she held it out. Sarina's fingers grasping it and the lock clicking twice before the cover shifted to the left side, Unlocking it.
"Hm. Keep it." She added as she stepped back towards the man...
Sarina lingered near the books but her eye caught the clock; racing out. Intella sighing. "That book wasn't there before..." Axel laughing faintly. "Correct."

The bakery, Convenience store, tailors. She'd fallen for the human realm the more she found. She'd gotten far too involved following a stray dog that she'd become lost. At least she thought so until flames caught her sight. The bright force drawing her near as she stood behind a tall man with dark red hair and glowing purple eyes. His fists clenched. Samuel quietly standing far more calmly at least until Sarina appeared. The wind told her she needed to stay back but it wasn't like her to listen especially as flames were tossed towards Samuel. Her hand tightening as she spoke harshly in words that no longer existed, The flames backfiring from his hand and turning to ice. Paimon turning with anger in his eyes. "Enough!" It would be the only time she'd hear Samuel speak. Barely a whisper yet it sounded like a shotgun was let off near her ears. Paimon even cringed, holding his head as the ice melted from the hand captured...
She didn't quite understand what changed as Paimom straightened, the flames dissipating as he glanced between Samuel and herself. As if he understood something - softening for a moment. "...Thank you. Leave." Paimon snapped a little as he walked back towards the farmhouse where briefly Sarina glimpsed a blonde girl. The wind drawing her attention and apologizing as it played with her hair. She shook her head. Smiling. "I know you were worried."
Old phone uploads: Oh boy I’m only down to 45 more of these to sort through.
"Paimon...?" Bella's voice cracked as she said his name...She didn't recognize him like this. His eyes blackened, a drip of black sludge dripping from his eyes like tears. The same fluid dripping from his gums as he snarled; Halfway between his demon form and his human glamor. His arms twisted in unnatural patterns as he lifted them. The flame swirling around them before finding his fingertips... And yet despite it all he trembled, his arm actively resisting as he stared at her...
Swallowing in her dry throat felt like she'd eaten glass, her body stiff. She typically could march up to Paimon in a little pink dress while he was murdering without hesitation but something deeper down frightened her about him like this...it was as if his heart was coated in that horrid stuff. She didn't see any life...
She clenched her fists. "I'm sorry..." She mumbled as his symbols lit up on her hands; It wasn't like before. She was focused...determined. But, She wasn't a demon. Her eyes glowing violet as she let out a cry, clutching her chest. His power erratic and maddening as it filled her.
His flames went out and as he marched towards her they both collapsed. Bella heard Gina's footsteps; Carefully...Yet with some enjoyment she jammed the large needle into Paimon's chest, Injecting Intella and Pierce's concoction. Gina jumping as Bella got to her feet; Eying her carefully...Her mother was weak, Pathetic. Or was she..? Gina was surprised as Bella pulled herself up; forcing herself to walk despite the clearly erratic nature of Paimon's flames in her body. "What are you doing?" She asked finally as Bella glanced back. Her lips parting before clenching her fists. "I can't let it out. It's to unstable...He might not get it back if I can't hold it together..." She forced the words from her lips. "I can't focus if I'm worried about him and you..." She snapped a little as she clutched her head and forced herself away...
The cure took a long time; Bella seemingly have trapped herself into a mindset, toying with her wedding ring...
Gina sat beside Salem a safe distance from Paimon. Either one of them could be infected... Salem's hand lightly over her's...She wanted to feel like they deserved it but at the moment she couldn't quite hold that bitter feeling...
A harsh cough was what drew everyone's attention as Paimon rolled over, lifting himself and gagging before vomitting up the fluid, clutching his chest and ripping out the syringe before coughing up a few more globs of the black goop. His legs weakly lifting him as he rubbed his shoulders, his eyes dull but back to normal. His eyea scanning his surroundings before assessing the situation. "Bella..?" He moved towards her quickly with the best of intentions but on instinct her arm shifted ; His own strength taking him off his feet as she looked; covering her mouth before her eyes widened, clutching her head as she cried out again...
Paimon still managed to get his arms around her, pulling her close. "Bella..let go. It's okay. I'm okay.." His fingers caressing her face, running his fingers through her hair carefully. "Shh..." He kissed the top of her head. As he pressed her into his chest she let go, her fingers relaxing and his power returning like a shockwave, he took all he could not to fall down and his eyes glowing as he tightened his grip on her. Bella's skin paling and her eyes rolling back as she passed out. His arms quickly supporting her...
Old phone uploads: When Bella ran off and drunk called Paimon.
"I don't know who I am..." Bella gripped the railing as she took in a deep breath. She was tanked; she'd downed a whole bottle of vodka. She didn't recall that she called Paimon...She barely heard him breathing. He hadn't said anything...
" ..I'm barely worth your breath. I've never understood, what you see in me... I just didn't remember how often I've hurt you... I didn't... I don't know who I am anymore. There's so many lifetimes in my head... I'm never comfortable in any one role...I'm comfortable with you but... " her voice cracked as she took in a shaky breath. "I can't just be...that. I feel like I just sit there and look pretty. Do you have any idea how aggravating it is? I feel so trapped... In my own skin. Not just our home or with you...that was just...I'm sorry..." A soft whimper left her lips between tears and shaky breaths. "I'm so angry...At myself. At you..at everything... Is this really how you feel..? All the time..? I - It hurts." She cried; clutching her head. "I thought I'd feel better if I got away from you. But it's even worse - I'm a fucking idiot...You were right." The silence lingered as she opened the door, the sound of the glass rattling as she walked back towards the hotel room bed; falling onto it. Whatever she was saying became a blur of sobs that faded into soft breathing... The phone falling beside her.
She'd briefly notice in the morning the fact the call hadn't disconnected all night until early morning. Paimon didn't sleep usually without her... So maybe he did. She didn't remember even making the call...
