This abandoned one-room schoolhouse is along the road to Paint Mountain, Tennessee. If you want to reach back into history, you’ve got to be willing to put the highway behind you and follow the dirt roads. Eventually, you’ll need to put the dirt roads behind you as well. Great things await those who’re willing to go out of their way to find them.
