Pakistan win by 6 wickets.
It was a fantastic contest between two decent sides, and Pakistan came out with all 2 points as we put on a more clinical performance with the bat to outclass Sri Lanka.
Centuries from Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama, along with a fifty from Pathum Nissanka provided the Sri Lankans with what many thought was a formidable total, since no side had chased a total of over 340 in World Cups before.
However, centuries from Abdullah Shafique and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan had the final say in this matter, and a cameo from Ifikhar Ahmed at the end ensured Pakistan got over the line with Rizwan being not out.
