" They killed our neighbor, my daughter’s friend, Majd, who is 16 years old. Please save us from fear and murder. I want to escape from this injustice and my family and I travel to safety. "
Why has killing 16 year olds become normal? Why has killing people still in their youth, who have their whole lives ahead of them? For the crime of living in Gaza?
Those who are oppressed in Gaza are denied proper burials, graves have been defiled by the occupation, and human beings, dignified people – just being massacred and but into mass graves.
Palestinians are dehumanised, to the point that IOF soldiers and american mercenaries are shooting at Palestinian aid seekers, in different parts of the body, as if they they are playing some sick game of target practise.
Without a doubt, going out to get aid in Gaza is a death sentence, people go with empty stomachs and receive bullets.
The people of Gaza need donations to buy food, your generosity is crucial to them.
Ahmed ( @samirahmed125 ) needs money for food, as his family are starving. His son Samir has been shot in the abdomen, and needs urgent surgery and to evacuate to a safer place to recieve what he needs, as some hospitals in Gaza don't even have a thermometer.
Hunger dulls the mind, and so people continue to risk their lives for 'aid' – Ahmed was recently injured while attempting to get food, and cannot go again. He now relys on donations to support his family, especially for Samir.
To those who have a living conscience and good hearts who feel us despite the distances a… Abeer Sa needs your support for Urgent Aid Needed
51% of the goal has now been raised, yet they need $500+ daily to sustain themselves.
" Our life in Gaza is death in every sense of the word. We die of hunger, fear, and helplessness psychologically, physically, and morally. "
Please help them to the best of your ability, we need to jump on the small amount of food that is available to buy, your generosity helps them survive.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Thursday that atleast four new deaths had been reported due to starvation. Bringing the total recorded numbers of people who have starved to death to 197. More than half of them, children. Including 17 year old Atef Abu Khater.
His weight had dropped from 70kg (154lbs) to just 25kg (55lbs) when he died, his family said – roughly what a nine-year-old child should weigh.
“We hear from his family members and others who knew him that he used to be a local sports champion. He ended up losing a lot of weight, becoming acutely malnourished, and ultimately dying,” Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reported from Gaza City.
“He was one of thousands of severe malnutrition cases throughout Gaza.”
Dr. Tareq Loubani, a Canada based emergency physician who is currently working in Gaza, told Al Jazeera on August 6th that there has not been a day in the last two and a half months when there has not been a near complete shortage of blood.
"I cannot get out of my mind one of the cases in which a one and a half year old boy was right infront of us with a tiny little wound that happened to hit an artery. He was breeding quite a bit, but not so much that he had to die," Loubani said.
"He was small, obviously malnourished and all he needed was a little bit of blood, however, it was a tent massacre, and so every single member of his family had died. As a result, they weren't able to donate blood," he added.
"By the time we were able to find somebody to go and donate blood and bring it, we could see that even if we gave him blood, we weren't going to be able to to follow it up, and that blood could he used to save somebody else. We had to sit there watching a little boy who we knew was saveable and treatable die in front of us." Loubani finished.
The Gaza Government Media Office issued a series of statements over the past week on the worsening of the humanitarian crisis and the reinforcement of engineered chaos in Gaza, in the context of a trickle of aid trucks being allowed in.
The Media Office stated on August 6th that over the past week and a half, the total number of trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip was only about 850 - an average of 85 trucks per day, or about 14% of of the required aid.
Gaza needs atleast 600 trucks of aid and fuel per day to meet the minimum demands of the health, service and food sectors, the Media Office added.
Most of the aid is being looted by armed gangs under the eyes and complicity of Israel. There are 22,000 aid trucks stuck at the crossings, the Media Office stated, "Most of which belong to UN and international organisations and various entities. The Israeli occupation is deliberately preventing their entry as part of a systematic policy of engineered starvation, blockade and chaos as part of the ongoing genocide."
On the night of August 5th, at least 20 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured when an aid trucks overturned on top of people who were starving and trying to get food. The Israelis forced the truck driver to drive on unsafe and damaged roads which it had previously bombed and were not suitable for passage.
Doctors and medical staff are overwhelmed, with mass casualties and dwindling supplies, fuel, medications and their own energy, as they too, are starving.
Dr. Muhammed Abu Salmiya, the director of Al-Shifa Hospital, said that his hospital's occupancy rate is at 300% and warned that anesthesia and blood units are in severely low supply, "Many of the injuries we recieve are concentrated in the upper parts of the body. We are losing wounded people due to the lack of sufficient operating rooms," he told Al Jazeera.
‼️ slow donations are sending people to their deaths - help Ahmed and his sick father ‼️
Our donations are helping the people of Gaza get food. Over 1,500 people have been killed while trying to get food. The number increases every single day, in what world should people risk getting shot and battered for food - yet a few kilometres away, people have unlimited access to food??
Quite litterally, slow donations are sending people to their deaths. Our donations are helping people from Gaza get food.
Starvation is breaking down people's bodies. People are starving to death, over 190 people have starved to death now.
The number of hunger related deaths in Gaza is increasing rapidly, we can hardly keep up with it - and these are only the conformed numbers, the real death tolls must be far more significant.
Ahmed Mazen Hammad ( @mazen-fmaily ) is a man from Gaza, who is solely responsible for his father's medical care - and while attempting to get food, he was severely injured in his leg, and needs surgery to reconnect the tendons on his leg.
He now needs a remaining $770 for his father's medical treatments - he needs an urgent heart battery, and daily dialysis treatments and occasions on top of this.
More donations are needed urgently - please don't be stingy with a human life, have some decency and give what you can.
My name is Darius. I am raising money for Mazen, a Palestinian man from Khan Younis who is currently trapped in Gaza with his wife and six s
