I just love it when a beer tastes better than I expected... this Arthur’s Legacy No 13 Aerts 2016 from Brouwerij De Hoorn (Palm Craft Breweries), an IPA based on a recipe for Aerts 1900 with too much history to state here Spéciale Belge, was simply a delight tonight, with its toasted caramel malts, bitter hoppy ending and mild fruits to balance it all out... just not expected, but appreciated, at least by me, this evening...
