I really had to think a lot about this one, but I think when Rocket was little, she was a big fan of the Mousecat show, the theme song was something she liked a lot. Growing older, she didn’t have any more time for the show, but hearing the song always made her smile until she distanced herself from the City during her first trip to the Zones when she was kidnapped. Today she despises it as a mean of propaganda and brainwashing.

I can’t decide on one song, but Kitten probably doesn’t especially like some of the songs played at Zone parties because they remind him of his first year in the desert consisting of sex, drugs and self-destruction.

When they first met at Rosefield, Rocked didn’t like Kitten a lot. She didn’t hate him, but she found him annoying, clingy and boring. They got along better when she grew older and now he’s the most important person for her, even though she doesn’t show it.

Kitten didn’t like Coffin a lot when they met first. He was suspicious of the Killjoy, confused by his new environment and in a complete turmoil after leaving the City so hastily. Now he strongly regrets his unapproachable behaviour and misses Coffin as they haven’t met for a year, and Kitten is almost sure that he’s dead.

Rocket doesn’t really have any tics, but I think the way she watches people has become some sort of a habit, bad or not. When she meets someone new, she always glances at them, on the one hand because it’s some kind of a power play, on the other hand because she want’s to pigeonhole people.

Kitten is the undisputed king of nervous tics, mostly as an expression of insecurety or uneasiness. His repertoire ranges from wiping over his nose with the back of his hand to scratching his underarm sore. It happens unwittingly and all the time, and when people (usually Rocket) draw his attention to it, he stopps for a few minutes and goes on again.

✑ describe something they like without naming it:

Rocket is a grouch, so she wouldn’t admit what she likes, but what she does like is steaks, halfway clean rooms, boots, the train cemetery, reliable people and the stars.

Kitten likes pretty much everyone and everything, but especially their bike, music, pens, Rocket, water, his job and his parents. And nice people, of course.
