When we started making records, we were just boys, and - I can speak for Brandon here, I think we would write largely about fictional characters and things like that. As we've gotten older and things have become more important to us and closer, we've become a little more inviting of the introspective part of ourselves. So we're writing more about personal things. That's been a huge growing part of our band, our career, and ourselves that I didn't really see coming. It didn't feel like we would go to the end of that mountain like we did, and through that, that's been a huge learning experience not only about ourselves, but about each other and our families, and we've become closer because of it - and I think, better songwriters because of it.

still havent fully processed my feelings and emotions from seeing nick joe and kevin at that fucking pandora live concert.... bitch. it feels like a fever dream that i literally traveled to new york for less than 24 hours to wait in a long ass line and see them perform 15 songs. then go home the next morning. unfuckingreal. talk about a new york minute. it was beyond a dream come true and the whole time my tired ass was in line waiting and sweating and stressing out i was like fuck this shit better be worth it and let me fucking tell you... it WAS. my god that was my first jonas brothers concert ever tbh and it was such a small intimate venue which is my favorite for concerts and i was so close to them and fucking joe waved right at my phone during sucker i literally almost collapsed multiple times. that feeling when youre at one of your faves shows and its like “wow they’re actually real life human beings. they exist and we are breathing the same air in the same room rn” its SO CRAZY AND UNBELIEVABLE AND IM STILL SHOOK AS FUCK. seeing kevin so happy playing w his brothers up close like ugh im so proud and happy for him and then nick and joe looking sexy as ever i just really never thought id ever get so close to them. joe’s bulge and arms and biceps fuck me *chefs kiss* they are so mothafuckin sexy and talented and i cried a LOT and screamed and was also so fucking aroused the whole time wow skgnskkacbck its been 2 days and it resparked something in me now ill never be the same again. IT WAS SO SPECIAL
