May I ask 2 and 28 for Panko, and 10 and 28 for Deshi?

Absolutely! Thanks for asking about my OCs. ^^

2 - When I think I truly started to like them (or dislike them, if you've sent me a character I don't like)

Panko: So, I've always found her quirky and entertaining, and she definitely has a special place in my heart because of how nice she is to Deshi, and I relate to her a lot too, but I don't think I really started liking her until much much later. It's kind of a spoiler to describe the scenes or events that made me start to appreciate her, but I think I really started to like her after I wrote the first three books I wrote (not to be confused with after the first three fragments). She flat out smacked a person and started pummeling them, with magic strength boosters, while nearly crying, and basically told everybody to stop being stupid. XD This is very vague for a reason, but I didn't really feel her as a character until that point. That might sound a bit harsh, but she was just sort of a fill-in that I knew had a personality, but she wasn't real until that moment. Even then, she kind of slips in and out of my mind. It's hard to... "be her" when I'm writing, and if I can't tune into them, I'll always feel kind of disconnected, which affect how I feel about them. It's probably why I've never written anything through her POV to be honest.

10 - Describe the character in one sentence

Deshi: Bitter old man in an awkward teenage body who loves videogames and just wants to be left alone.

28 - The most unnecessary thing they ever did?

Panko: It's hard to say because she does everything with purpose and enjoys every moment. That, and everything she does is necessary, whether it's necessary for her or someone else, so... hard to say. Part of that probably stems from that whole family tragedy that could've been avoided if she hadn't sat there and done nothing, so now she just makes sure she never stops. Anyway, it wasn't unnecessary, but we'll say that her going into the Mountain Temple as often as she does just for some alone time is pretty unnecessary, but then of course Deshi would've died a long time ago, so it wasn't unnecessary to everyone.

Deshi: So, the first thing that came to mind was "the most unnecessary thing he ever did was exist", which is super morbid and I don't actually feel that way, but... it kind of makes sense after you read Third Fragment (referring to the events in Second Fragment). And then even more sense when you put all the pieces together in the Fifth Fragment. So horribly, it's kind of accurate. 😅 But probably not in the way you're thinking. Or maybe it is, but we'll have to get to the Fifth Fragment before that's confirmed or denied, won't we.

2 - Tea, coffee, hot chocolate or other?

If these were the options, I think it'd still be water. :/ He'd drink his coffee black and his tea with no sugar, and would probably not care for hot chocolate at all, but I think he sincerely enjoys water. Not sure why. 🤔

37 - Your character has been kidnapped. Who has kidnapped them and how do they escape?

I guess this depends at which point we're talking about. I'm going to pick a random one. Also, NSFW warning.

He probably got kidnapped by somebody at the sex club so they could dominate him just because. And I'm not sure he'd want to escape. Although, he'd probably prove he's more of a dom than a sub when he gets tired of it, dominate them, and then just walk out. Doesn't want to miss sword training class! XD

50 - How does your character sleep at night? Are they a heavy or light sleeper? Do they dream or have nightmares? Do they find it easy to sleep or are they more a night owl?

Not very well. He's a pretty light sleeper overall, unless it's been a while since he slept, but it still doesn't take too much to wake him. He has his fair amount of nightmares and sometimes his mind can keep him up at night. It's hard to say that he's actually a night owl, even though he does stay up late, because I think it's more of an issue with falling asleep than he actually thrives at night. He's definitely an early bird most days.

Hot chocolate and energy drinks. I think he finds coffee gross and tea boring, but he would like hot cocoa and energy drinks equally. Really needs to drink more water though, this one. (Psst, he takes after me. XD)

37 - Your character has been kidnapped. Who has kidnapped them and how do they escape?

Again, it depends on at which point, but the most likely scenario is that a friend kidnaps him. In the case he's on Earth, he gets out because he's the goodie-two-shoes that couldn't go through with the shenanigans, and he doesn't escape, they kick him out. In the case it's Stag, Deshi probably gets horribly drunk and subsequently hungover the next day. He eventually passes out after throwing up all over his kidnapper and then gets carried back to the castle. What? No, noooo, this isn't exactly what happens in book 2. 😏

50 - How does your character sleep at night? Are they a heavy or light sleeper? Do they dream or have nightmares? Do they find it easy to sleep or are they more a night owl?

Depends on the book. He's neither light nor heavy and usually he dreams. He finds it relatively easy to sleep, but always stays up because he is definitely a night owl. Later in the series, he suffers from serious nightmares and becomes a little heavier of a sleeper when he can actually sleep, but it's still not too hard to wake him.

I think she loves tea! She loves hot cocoa too, but only on special occasions. Coffee would be okay and she's not too big on others. Unless smoothies count as more of a drink than a food. I imagine she loves smoothies.

37 - Your character has been kidnapped. Who has kidnapped them and how do they escape?

So first off, she's sort of a badass, and nobody kidnaps her without her permission, so there's that. And then even if they manage to kidnap her, she gets out with magic because badass. And I have no idea who would have the balls to try and kidnap her, even before she's a badass, because she's pretty well protected by others. If she does get kidnapped, a bunch of people are going to come after her. In book 1, it'd be Master Key (and you don't want to piss that lady off), in book 2, it'd be Deshi and Stag, and Deshi has a god relic, and she gets pretty proficient in her secondary magic discipline by the end of book 2, so she's good after that really.

50 - How does your character sleep at night? Are they a heavy or light sleeper? Do they dream or have nightmares? Do they find it easy to sleep or are they more a night owl?

Very well. Very easily. She's neither heavy, nor light of a sleeper, and is an early bird. She's not opposed to taking naps and is always perky and well rested. People everywhere would be envious of how healthy her sleep schedule is.

So like, what’s going on with Panko?

I wasn't sure what to say about her at first, but here goes. Kind of spoilers, but not really as she kind of turns into a side character. (A very beloved one, but still.) Panko is a young magic novice when Deshi meets her. She's 11 (using Earth ages) and has been using magic since she was 5 even though most aren't able to until they're at least 10. She ends up being the first to master all three magics by the age of 16 (I think) and sets off to master the fourth affinity at that time. (There are 4 affinities and only 1 is optional because the 3 magics need to be gifts, the 4th affinity is "Intellect".) She tops out at 4'8" and spends a good deal of time traveling the realm to convince people that the affinities can work together. There was a long standing conflict between the Magics and Intellects and when she marries, the realm of Thera enters an era of peace, largely because she stands for the union of all affinities and this was made clear in her own union with another person.

She's polyamorous though and one of the side things she did to convince people that there really is no difference between Magics and Intellects was by entering these short "relationships" with people all over Thera, regardless of gender or status. She believes that all you need is unconditional love between one another to see just how unnecessary and outdated the idea of war is. 😊She's also super cute and super exuberant and really caring. She is basically Deshi's first friend when he arrives on Thera.
