i need to fill out this team tho like

you're searching for an important artifact possibly fighting against trold along the way and somehow there's only 2.5 of you? (nettie counts as .5 because she's not really present for most of it***)

so who else is even coming with you?! charlie is the "leader" in the sense that she gets the team together and DEMANDS that this "quest" happen but at best she's a strategist

penny is the leader the motivator the one with the big magical sword and the stronger powers

but there is no way the hierarchy would SPARE her for something like this unless they took the quest srsly

She is QUEEN MAB for gods sakes they wouldn't give that name lightly

whereas Charlie is Ophelia which has a lot of implications re: their opinion of her

So do they send Penny's whole team of basically magical girl navy seals and then we see Charlie basically trying to insinuate herself into the group? Possibly bonding with Penny to the point where she can keep her from absorbing a magical artifact to become immortal? 

Or is this a team of scraps and Penny is attached to it basically as a fail safe, watching Penny the professional, Penny the strong and proud and Goddamn Good at her Job, try and corral a group of babbies? 

I mean obviously there is a middle ground that I'm not thinking of but like

Part of Penny's major motivation is becoming an immortal diety because like she wants to be able to protect the people she cares about but also because a lot of the people she CARES about are already immortal dieties so LIIIIKKKEEE
