wlw is short for women-loving woman or woman loving women.

mlm is short for men-loving man or man loving men.

Essentially they are umbrella terms for people who experience same-gender attraction. The term wlw was originally coined by black women, was adopted by other women as well, and then later was used by men for the term mlm.
