since he's blind, deaf, and has been A Victim of Parental Abuse since Day One he is selectively mute BUT he does like to sing when he's all alone

and I headcanon its singing voice as Will Stetson

good examples of this can be found in his covers of God-ish, Lagtrain, Telecaster B-Boy, and Goodbye Sengen

no one expects it either, like when someone really shy walks onto the stage on a competition show and it turns out they literally have the voice of god

made designs for pantherstar's terrible horrible parents!

its dad, snakestar (warrior name snakewhisper) and its mom, applelight (changed the name from applesun because I felt it gave off more of those religious vibes I wanted, let there be light and all that)

they also do end up in the dark forest when they die, but I'm not making full profiles for them because (A) what they do is pretty well explained in pantherstar's story and (B) they're killed again very, very quickly after they land in the DF

their personalities are rotten, but at least their designs are cool!

I'm having a lot of fun with the religious symbolism in pantherstar's story

I named its parents (who are terrible and awful and should explode and die) snakestar (warrior name snakewhisper) and applesun

as a reference to the story of the garden of eden :333

the name pantherstar popped into my mind while eating lunch and I had to go make a design for it

and the design I made was so cool I think I HAVE to turn him into a resident

now I just need to think of a motivation for them... all I know about it so far is that he uses he/they/it pronouns, they are blind and deaf, and their warrior name was panthermoon

maybe something to do with superstition?

Maybe there was a prophecy before they were found and cats were convinced he was someone really important? (maybe the prophecy mentions 'panther', hence the name?)

Maybe it's connected to another Dark Forest resident (either posted or not) who makes the prophecy? So instead of being a hero destined by StarClan, it's a villain believed to be destined for greatness because of a fake prophecy cats believed came from StarClan but didn't?

Heck, maybe they work together? Panther is like "I know the future. [insert thing] will happen!" and then the Dark Forest cat makes it happen, but since no one else can see them, they believe it was a true prediction? and then maybe they use it against other cats or Clans?
