PLEASE HELP MY BAND PAPER PLANETS GET TO THE STUDIO!

Hello followers and friends,

A couple days ago my band Paper Planets (Tulsa,OK) was approached by a very big studio called The Panda Studios located in Fremont, California.The Panda Studios is a very well known studio as they are the studio who records bands such as The Story So Far, State Champs, Basement, Hundredth, Worthwhile,Touche Amore, etc.. They expressed great interest in working with us as they’ve had an eye on us since last year. They offered to fit us in this August 24th to 28th with Sam Pura. Sam is the lead engineer and owner of the studio who has been the producer for all the bands stated above. This is a HUGE opportunity for us. We are by no means at the level of the aforementioned bands but this is too good for us to pass up out of fear or nerves.

After a phone conference with their studio manager, we were able to confirm our dates and we are tentatively on the calendar to come in for a week to record our next release. While this is the greatest news any band could hope to hear, it will be a big financial toll on us. We do intend to do whatever it is to scavenge the money no matter what, but a little help from our families, friends, and fans would also be greatly appreciated. The studio session costs alone will be several thousand dollars; travel expenses, lodging, and studio ready gear and accessories on top of that is going to be another big chunk of dough coming straight from us. We are also having to pay for demo recordings to send to the studio beforehand which is another couple hundred dollars. This opportunity is unbelievable and we want nothing more than to capitalize on it. If you feel so inclined to help 5 boys who make music reach the west coast in any way, we have several ways that you can help us make money for the trip or even donate if you feel so generous.
