STARTER: Asher & Nova LOCATION: The Pools STATUS: CLOSED
Nova had been spending every morning before work at the pools, choosing to sacrifice her first hour of work so that she could make it through the rest of the day. It wasn’t her preference, but Juan-Diego had assured her that it was better that she felt good and had a clear head seven hours of the work day instead of feeling like crap the full eight, and she had eventually relented. So, there she was, in her bikini top and a towel wrapped around her waist, stood by the edge of the pool, a shiver running over her as she stared down at the inky blue water.
It was the awkward part about shifting - what to do about clothes? The brief moment between dropping her towel and getting into the pool would leave her exposed, but the thought of ruining yet another pair of bikini bottoms was too much, and so with a quick glance around her surroundings to ensure she was alone, she dropped her towel, diving gracefully into the water. Relief surged over her as she turned, silvery-green tail flicking around in the water as she swam right down to the bottom, sighing out bubbles of relief as she circled the pool. When she emerged from the water it was with a satisfied expression, although this was wiped from her features as her eyes met a stranger’s. He was stood by the pool staring down at her, and she raised an awkward hand, offering him a small smile. “Sorry- hi.. you can- you can come in? If you want? Plenty of room,” she murmured. “I’m Nova.”
