Backseat Drivers || Malian || Future
Mal had a long day at school. His students had been near mutinous and his professors dull and droning. Was it so much to ask that people actually be interested in the topic the took classes in? Apparently so, but Mal tried to shrug it off. He was excited that Saphira was picking Eros up. Even though he loved that little boy with all his heart, he couldn't turn down an opportunity to spend some alone time with his husband. His husband; even after all these years, he never got tired of that idea. When he was starting his twenties, he'd never have expected to even come out of the closet, now he was married to the man he loved and had a son.
He packed up his things, pulling back on his tweed blazer. He'd had to get glasses a few years ago and was still self conscious about it. He tried not to wear them around Xi, even though he knew the man didn't mind them. He just never felt sexy with them. Unlike Xi, who looked to die for as an officer, and now as a detective. Even now he practically drooled when he watched his husband leave for work in the morning. He typed out a text to the man, asking if he was here yet as he walked out of the humanities building.
