Malia had been planning this day for about a month or so, so when it finally came, she couldn’t help her excitement. Everything was set up and ready; all except for the guest of honor. After getting ready herself and leaving a note for Thomas letting him know she would likely be out all day, Malia left the apartment and headed towards Ariel’s. After knocking on the door, she waited patiently until the door was answered. As soon as she saw Ariel, she smiled brightly. “Hello darling. I think a happy birthday is in order.” She winked playfully. “I hope you haven’t got plans for today. I’ve got quite the setup for you. However, if you do have plans, I completely understand. Just let me know when you’re free.”

Eva walked alongside her new acquaintance silently, not really knowing what to say or how to choose her words. So far, more than one person had told her to talk to Deaton, and her mother had tried to help her, but Eva was still getting a hang of all of this and she didn't know at the time if she wanted to talk to anyone about this. But now, she did. She glanced sideways at Ariel as they approached the trail and she took a deep breath, "You should be careful. I don't know where all the traps are exactly, so really, be very careful." Eva instructed him as she gingerly stepped into the uneven soil and into the ground covered with dried up leaves.

Cupcakes; Ariel&Babette

Blue hues scanned over what seemed like a few too many boxes of cupcake mix that now set out on the counter. Still, she justified this with the fact that they were on sale and it would have been silly to pass it up. Plus, she could always hand out the extras. Perfectly logical. Carefully, she set out everything that she would need before tugging her blonde hair into a ponytail. Baking had never exactly been a talent for her, but it was fun nonetheless and she was excited to spend some time with Ariel; girl time was always a necessity. Upon hearing a knock on the door, she scurried across the room and opened it, smiling as she greeted Ariel. “Come in,” she said, shifting to the side to allow the girl to step inside.

Tristan was almost excited to get out of the tiny little apartment he had rented for himself in Ravenswood Hallow, and out to the nearest city. There was bound to be more things to do there than in this quaint little town. He was pretty sure in himself that he had chosen fine company, too. There was nothing so far about Ariel that made him dislike her. It was probably because she was also a demon so their personality traits wouldn't be all that different. Though, he doubted she went around killing innocents for fun.

After he was dressed in something fairly casual, he set off out, bringing the few things he needed with him. As soon as he was out the door he got into his car, a rather old fashioned thing that would be considered ancient in these times, though the car itself was fairly shiny and new-looking. Either way it was the only one he owned and perfectly fine for driving to the city.

When he noticed their meeting time was just around the corner, Tristan stuck the keys into the ignition and started up the car. It was pretty hard for him to drive through town, acting as a normal citizen, because he wasn't. He was a full blown psychopath, and honestly, he was craving a kill. And it was definitely hard to stay focused with all the young ladies walking passed mindlessly on the streets they thought were safe. Parking the car at where they had arranged to meet near the town hall, Tristan looked out the window for the pretty blonde thing.
