You Had One Rule | Barrel & Bill
Barrel poked at the small swell on the top of his forehead. Dipper had quite the kick, he thought to himself, as he examined the injury in the mirror. He had gone through worse, of course. There was that time when he nearly got an arm ripped off... He sighed, and ran a hand through his hair. It was messy, but he didn’t bother styling it. He was done for the day, ready to lock the doors, and prop his feet up, wearing a pair of old sweatpants and a grey tank top to match. A coincidence, more than a fashion statement, if he were to be honest. He was planning on a movie night, and having popcorn for dinner. He busied himself in the kitchen, fiddling with the microwave for a bit, before he set up the movie in the living room. The apartment wasn’t big, so it was easy to get around.
He was on his way to the living room, when he felt that heaviness around him. Like he was being watched, a feeling he was more than accustomed to, since living in Halloweentown. He stopped on his tracks, blinking, and listening. But was quick to shrug that feeling away as paranoia, before he set the popcorn down on the coffee table, ready to sit down and start his private movie session.
