I Spy | Mister Fox
The hours were rolling right by and Layla could hardly keep up. At this point, she was about done. The red solo cup in her hand wasn't appealing to the brunette one bit any longer, which led her to tossing it into the nearest trash bin as she walked by. It was clear that she had enough, too. You could tell it in her every step! How the heels of her TomFletcher's would scrape against the ground beneath and her legs would wobble about every little often. It was certainly quite a sight to see, considering Layla had reputation for holding her liquor well.
The music was fading away as she carried herself further from the crowds, becoming more interested in sobering up some and maybe a bite to eat. Her stomach obviously agreed with her as the smell of food somehow lingered in the air. She supposed she was simply becoming real sensitive to scents while intoxicated since she knew most places were probably closing now. And as she realized that, she began to frown, sighing softly as she came to a drunken halt. "D-Dahmit," she spoke rather weird, cupping a hand over her mouth in surprise now that she was finally able to hear herself talk. Layla began to giggle quietly to herself, but bit her lips to stop the fit. She probably looked like a crazy person giggling like that!
A moment later and she took a slow glance around her, hoping no one was around. Though, her mind was instantly changed when she caught sight of a tall blonde man out of the corner of her eye. Doing a double take, her lips parted for a second just before they zipped back together as a wide and excited smile graced her lips. One of her most favorite people, decided to finally come out of hiding. There were a few people Layla felt guilty for losing contact with and Gregory Fox was definitely one of them, including his lovely cat Marvin.
Perhaps it was because of the drunkenness, but it seemed that in a mere second, Layla was right at his side. Each corner of her lips reaching from ear to ear and she practically jumped at him, giving him what some people may have called the "Hug of Death". "Mister Fox, I found you!" she shouted a bit loudly. This wasn't exactly the way she wanted to appear upon seeing him again, but there wasn't much she could do now with all that she's already drunk. "I knew you were still here! I was beginning to w-worry.." she slightly slurred, trying rather hard not to. Greg was one of the friends she wondered about when she came back, sooner or later she would have gone to look for her, but little did she know.. he was no longer with Bella Nova.
