Ground Control to Major Ward- Amelia, Brie, Camille
It didn’t take long for Camille to find Lucien’s cell number. He knew the creepy receptionist at the desk would have it and it only cost him owing her a favor which he was sure was going to bite him in the ass later. He sprinted out of the doors of the hotel, not bothering to respond to Lucien’s reply.
Indian take-out place, two blocks from hotel. Indian take-out two blocks from hotel.
When he found the bar he panted, looking around before calling out towards the beach, “Amelia!” He let his feet hit the sand, searching behind every rock, trashcan, he could find before hitting the beach bathroom further down the shore line. “Amelia?” He asked, maybe to no one.
Knocking on the door, “Are you in there?” He pushed the door open not seeing anything but stalls and tiled walls. He caught glimpse of himself in a cracked mirror, “Mother Fucker.” He mumbled but he was more worried about finding Amelia than his black eye, and aching body, “Ame-” He started before spotting little feet popping out from one of the stalls.
He walked slowly over the the door, which was locked, before getting on his hands and knees, praying that she wasn’t passed out or hurt, before letting out a sigh of relief, “Jeez Amelia…” He paused, he had promised not to scold her, “Unless the landlord evicted you. This isn’t the hotel, you know.” he said gently, “Here… scoot over Holmes-” He slid under the stall so he could unlock the door, letting it swing open so to free his friend. He said he wouldn’t be mad but he couldn’t help but take her face in his hands, turning it gently from this side to that, examining it for bruises. Taking a knee next to her, he sighed, holding up the bandaid, “It even is a fun neon color. Because I’m such a good friend.” He wet a paper towel with warm water and soap, returning to Amelia knowing she probably wasn’t going to like the sting… So he didn’t tell her when he placed the towel to her knee. After that process was done, he placed the neon green bandaid over her scrape, and a tiny kiss on her knee, “…There all better, alright?”
After getting Amelia out of the stall, onto the beach, he bent down to let her hop on his back. His body was more than a little sore from the fight but he would be damned if he let it show. Arms securely holding onto her legs he walked both of them down the street. “That Indian Take out place looks good…” He commented with a small smile, glancing slightly over his shoulder to look up at her. He wouldn’t ask Amelia any questions until she sobered up, he’d try to just be there for her right now. These things happened, and they were a squad after all.
