WARNINGS: none, just two friends going on a friendly night time hang-out where nothing of the romantic kind will happen
This was decidedly not a date. Ryan had the mantra repeating in his head over and over again as he got buttoned up his shirt. There are to be no hanky-panky when it comes to Tina tonight, they were just two friends. Friends go on platonic dates, right? Right. Ryan felt like his mind was pushing and pulling into all the different directions. Tina had always have this effect on him, making him lose all sense of control. Tying the bowtie around his neck, Ryan stared at his own reflection for a good few minutes.
There’s nothing to worry about, it’s just Tina. ‘Just Tina’ -- as if Tina was ever ‘just’ anything. Relenting to his own subconscious, he knew tonight was going to end up hurting him more than help. How was he supposed to try and not be in love with Tina when he can’t even go a day without talking to her? Maybe I really ought to take a vacation somewhere, maybe I should go home. He mused to himself. Sighing deeply again, Ryan pulled his suit jacket off the back of a chair and headed out to pick up Tina. Arriving at her door, he rapped his knuckles on the frame and waited patiently. Remember, not a date.
Third time is the charm.
That's what people always say, right? So wouldn't it make sense to assume it would also be the case for Ryan and Tina's relationship? Ever since they got together a few years back, they've had their ups and downs. They've broken up and gotten back together, over and over again. Each time they broke up, however, made a bigger dent in each of their hearts. Angry words, spiteful comments, and unreasonable assumptions were all made in the heat of the moment, but each time they managed to get through it together. But this time? This time, reconciliation didn't seem all that likely...
Ryan fought to not raise his voice but the frustration was getting the best of him. Brashly, he ran a hand roughly through his hair, leaving odd pieces of hair sticking out from its usual coiffed shape. "Tina... baby, please. Can we just talk about this? I don't, I don't understand why all of a sudden, you're making that kind of accusation. I just want to understand, please... I know you're angry, but I can't understand if you won't talk to me."
Tina crossed her arms across her chest, not here for his baby, please. Not this time. He couldn't just nice it all away. "I've been talking, Ryan. You're not listening," she insisted, though she knew on some level her thoughts had been far from complete. "I see you flirting and charming every person that walks through the doors. The exact same flirt and charm that gets me hook, line, and sinker. What am I supposed to think?"
Ryan, with a frown marring his normally bright and open face, peered at Tina from his seated position in front of her. How did things get so wrong so quickly? "That I am absolutely and irrevocably in love with you? That you're the one who brightens up my day just by showing up?" He had no idea that being himself bothered Tina so much. This was his personality and he thought she knew that from the beginning. What kind of person would he be if he had to stopped being this way? Was he willing to compromise his own personality for her? Thousands of questions rushed through his mind and it was getting far too overwhelming. All he wanted was to be with Tina, why couldn't she see that?
Tina closed her eyes, her head shaking at his remarks. Whether his remarks were true or not, it didn't do anything to dissuade the remarks she'd made. What was she supposed to do? Let his love for her blind her to the fact that he'd chat up anything that breathed? "I love you too. I do, but I just... It's one thing to be the friendly doorman, it's another to try to be getting an invite to open doors back at their place," she accused, and maybe it was a stretch. Maybe. She knew he was a charmer, god did she ever, but until they started working at the same place, she hadn't had to witness the way other girls preened under his attention. She hadn't thought herself the jealous type, but then again, she knew she still had plenty to learn about herself.
Tina's words hit Ryan like a bullet speed train, leaving him jaw slacked and unable to breathe. It was like an insurmountable weight was sitting on his chest; it hurts so much. After everything that they've been through, the previous separations, their reconciliations, every good and bad... How could she even think that he would cheat on her? "How could you say something like that?" He asked incredulously. "You're the only girl I've ever loved to such a degree. I'm sorry that my inaction have allowed you to draw such a conclusion, but god dammit, Tina! I love you! I'm so in love with you that I can't go one minute without thinking about you!" Feeling choked up, Ryan bowed his head and allowed the tears to well up in his eyes. "I would never cheat on you... or even entertain such a preposterous idea..."
Tina could only stare him down as he spoke, feeling her gut twist as he did. She knew he was telling the truth, despite the jealousy that was still brewing inside of her. Ryan probably did have endless opportunities to cheat on her, but he wouldn't. But not trusting him and the girls and guys that swooned when his eyes sparkled in the afternoon sun was easier than admitting she didn't trust herself. Not to cheat, she was undoubtedly faithful to Ryan, but to be faithful to herself. To not lose herself in a boy or a romance. To just become his or the better half. Accusations were definitely easier, until he looked the way he looked when he heard them. "You're not standing where I'm standing. They eat up every word you say."
Ryan was a giant ball of emotion, and it was wrecking his concentration. He was desolated by the things Tina was saying, so much so that he could feel himself getting angry. The last thing he ever wanted to be was angry with her. "No, I'm not, but what I'm getting out of this is that you want me to change who I am fundamentally. Can't you see that you're everything I want and need? You're more than enough for me. Yes, I'm affectionate with others, but even when I'm with them, I'm with you!" His voice began to raise.
Tina raised an eyebrow then. “So you are with them, then?” she challenged, voluntarily twisting his words. “Do you tell them you have a girlfriend or do you just let them assume your bachelor status?” She was pacing at this point. The frustration and uncertainty were bubbling right underneath the surface while consequence had escaped her mind. “If I’m everything, why do you need to entertain their whims?”
It would be a lie to say that Tina's words didn't hurt, every accusation chipped away at Ryan's heart. To know that he can inspire such hostility from the woman he loves is almost unbearable. But it was that woundedness in her voice that made him feel helpless to try and remedy whatever is going on as soon as possible. The questions were coming from all over the places, places that Ryan had difficulties to reconcile that it was even Tina that he's talking to. "I have made it very clear to everyone who asks that I am yours." Ryan did his best to temper his tone with love and patience, void of any bitterness or condescension; he just wanted to make her see the situation as he did. That his every word, his every action with others stemmed from a place of respect and comradery. "I know my job doesn't exactly allow me to spend time with you whenever you're there, but please, please know that there isn't anyone else for me."
Turning to look at Ryan again, Tina propped a hand on her hip. "So, what about the ones that don't ask? Then it's all just best kept secret?" This conversation was going nowhere, and everything he said just frustrated her more.. Not to mention how level he still sounded. Yes, she could see the hurt in his eyes, but wasn't she worth actually fighting with - fighting for? "You thinking I'm making up stories in my head because I'm lonely? It's not like I'm some pathetic girl waiting by the phone for you to call me. I have a life outside of you."
Ryan wrung his hands together in frustration and exhaled through his nose. God is really testing him; how could they give him the greatest gift of all only to cruelly rip it away from him every single time he got so close? Things were getting louder and louder inside his head, he didn't even know if it was voices or just white noise, but it was all too overwhelming. "I have never once thought that you're not perfectly capable on your own, Tina! You're an inspiration to many, but more importantly, you inspire me to be a better person so that I may be worthy of being next to you." Curling his hands into a tight fist in another attempt to remain calm and not fall into a shouting match with Tina, because that helps nobody and nothing. "You do understand that... It does occur to you, hopefully, that you realize I have feelings too," Even with his nails digging into his palm, Ryan could feel his hands shake, his breathing uneven, his jaw clenched tight; it was almost like he was getting unhinged. "When you say something like that." He bit out just shy of angrily.
Tina pursed her lips, considering what he’d said and only feeling the wheels turn more quickly in her head. “So now I’m making things up because you don’t spend enough time with me AND I’m completely unaware of your feelings,” she recounted, using her fingers to list off the so-called accusations. Her hands dropped, clapping against her sides as she groaned in frustration. The fight had yet to be the same when they’d broken up, but the pulse through her veins was all too familiar. The stab low in her gut. “If it’s so much work to be with me, then maybe you just shouldn’t be,” Tina finally challenged.
What else was there left to say? Everything Tina has said thus far has solidify the fact that they shouldn't be together. Every single time something of importance happens in their relationship, they fail to overcome the hurdle together. It was always the same thing, rinse and repeat. Really, Ryan should just cut his losses and find someone else. Someone who wouldn't break up with him because he said he loved her for the first time. Someone who wouldn't say these hurtful baseless things simply because they can. By all accounts, they should just be done with each other. But he didn't want to. It all sounds logical and reasonable but it went against every fiber that made up who Ryan is. "But can't you see, Tina, that all I ever wanted was to be with you?!" He yelled out, letting all his frustration pour out. "All I ever wanted was to make a life with you! Why can't you see that you're the person I want to marry and grow old with?" Silence reigned between them after his outburst. His chest was heaving from his uneven breathing and his heart pounded loudly in his ears. Taking a deep breath, Ryan kneeled down in front of Tina, and said softly, "I want to marry you, Tina. I want to be there for you through every high and every low. I want to share every part of my life with you. I never want there be a reason for you to ever doubt my devotion for you, and if that means taking any and all the oaths with you, then I want nothing more. I can wait forever for you, but I just need there to be a reason to wait. Because I can't.. I don't want to live without you." Reaching out, he held Tina's hands in his palms. "So, will you marry me?" He looked on, half terrified and half hopeful.
The yelling was enough to stop Tina where she stood, a look of shock on her face as she met his eyes. Ryan never yelled. She tried to find the words to say next, the snappy comeback she always had in her back pocket, but it was gone. This man that she loved, and she did. She did love him. This man she loved kneeling in front of her, saying the sweetest words any person should want to hear, took her words away. Under different circumstances, she might have said yes. Might. He would have said the same words and had a beautiful ring and she’d have wiped away a tear as she only nodded her response. Sealed with a kiss. Happily ever after. But no. This was not that. A proposal was not the solution to an argument. What life would they be building if this was the foundation? Tears pricked at Tina’s eyes all the same, but from sadness instead of joy. She tugged her hands from his gently, shaking her head and taking a few steps back. “I can’t,” she finally said, her voice barely more than a whisper. “No.”
Ryan stayed kneeling for a good few minutes, he made no attempt to wipe away the tears that were freely rolling down his face. Why should he bother to hide the pain that he's in? Swallowing thickly, he finally tore his eyes away from Tina and stood up shakily. His mouth opened and closed, as though he wanted to say something, anything, but nothing came of it. So what now? "Do you... Should I leave?" His voice croaked from how choked up he was.
Tina ’s arms hugged around herself. The pain in her chest new and unsettling. Every time they’d broken up had been hurtful, and for both of them she knew, but this was different. She sniffed back tears as he stood and nodded. “I don’t think there’s anything else to say,” she stated, trying to sound more confident in the point than she was. “I’m sorry, Ryan.”
Shaking his head, Ryan could say nothing else, "It wasn't your fault, please don't think that." He wanted to just cut across this despicable distance that's separating them and hold her in his arms. Wiping away his tears, Ryan nodded in assent. "Take care of yourself, please." With great difficulty, Ryan took one last, long look at Tina, wanting to etch every little thing into his memory. This was the end, it felt like it was the end every other time, but this time it really felt like someone ripped his heart out and ran it through a shredder. It hurt, it hurt so damn much. Regardless of how much he wanted to just say fuck it and take everything back just so they could be back to the smooth sailing times, he knew he had to go; for Tina's sake, for his own sake. He can't be the person that makes her life difficult just because he couldn't accept the fact that she's no longer with him. Ripping his gaze one last time, Ryan turned about face and with heavy feet, he walked out.

Notes: Tina get her hormones so sensible and makes her very suspicious about Artie and his work.
Tina patiently waited for Artie to arrive. She lit up candles around their living room and wore her best lingerie. She knew that it was his weakness and he'll definitely be turned on when he sees her. As the doorknob turned, she bolted through her position and welcomed him.
Tina: Oh hi there, handsome. *smiles*
Artie: Ahhh hi, love *scots and kiss her lips* Nice to come home. I have an exhausted day. Almost going mad with my actors today.

Artie: Hold on a second. I don't know what psyco!brain you ate these days because you never acted like that before. You know my job. And I know yours. I'm never being upset with you when you make a sex scene with your coworker or when you want a break for sex because you need to practice your script. And you create something that even doesn't exist because I rejected to make love with you? Start to grow up, Tina. We're not teenagers anymore and I married with you not because of the sex you know that.
Tina: Grow up?? Why?? When was the last time we made love, huh?? It's been a week since the last time we had sex, Artie!!! One week!!!! And everytime you get home you're always tired tired tired!!! Give me a break!! I also have needs, Artie!!!

You have to have patient and stop to being paranoid about cheating or something you know I hate this *goes to the kitchen and take some glass of water*
Tina: Fine!!! *whispers* Mike was better. Ugh.
Artie: *throw the glass of the wall and breaks it*
Tina: Go ahead!!! Break everything!!!! *goes to the bedroom and cries*
Artie: *goes to the bedroom calmly and start to pack his bags*
Tina: *looks at him as he packs his bags* So you're l-l-leaving me now huh? *cries*
Artie: *look at her and shed tears* Yes, I'm leaving, because the woman that I made vows promise me that she never make a comparison like that especially with the boy that she cheated on me. I never cheated on you in my all life, Tina. But you did. And you broke my heart. I know that someday you're being sick of me. Why did you call Mike and her wife Sugar and tell him that you still love him? Also, invite them for the premiere because I'm not going. I need a wife that trusts me. Bye *scoots out of the bedroom and out the apartment*
Tina: *watches him as he leaves and cries after he shuts the door* ....I guess it's just you and me, baby... *caresses her tummy* P-p-please don't leave mommy, okay? *cries as she clutches her tummy* you’re the only thing I have now...Please don’t leave mommy, baby... *sobs*

Notes: After marriage, Artie and Tina celebrates their wedding on Cohen-Chang Mansion.
Artie was more than happy. If he could write the best script of a film at the time it would be impossible because nothing was comparable to that point. Marrying with Tina is being the best film of his life and a very real way. When they arrived at Cohen-Chang mansion, almost all the guests were present. The limo was where the couple did a longer travel giving opportunity for guests arrive before the reception place. Once the bride and groom appeared, everyone clapped and started shouting "Team Tartie" or "Team Artina". No matter which one is right to say. What it really matters is they are together and nothing could ruin that so special moment right now. It was the waltz time and Artie had been in charge of choosing the music. When the band started playing "Dream A Little Dream" the nerd noticed bride's surprised expression in her face. "One of my biggest mistakes was not having danced this song with you. And today I realize that dream." he said softly as Tina sat on his lap to dance with him.
Tina felt so overwhelmed with her emotions as they started to dance along to the song. "I...love...you..." she said in between her tears as she buried her head on his shoulder. ”Honey, please tell me I’m not dreaming. If this is just a dream, I don’t want to wake up anymore, Arthur...I love you..." she cupped his face and kissed him once more.
Artie have a radiant and serene smile as he listened Tina cries with emotion. He was always a little nervous when he heard her cry but tonight everything was allowed: Cries, laughs, kisses, everything. He heard her before she kiss him again. He felt some of her tears tastes on his mouth and when the kiss was broken he wiped it on her cheeks rosy. "This is not a dream. This is our beautiful reality. I love you, my love," he whispered as they finalized the waltz.
Tina smiled at him and placed her forehead on his. "I was about to say that I cannot wait to spend my forever with you but then I realized that we're already starting our forever." She giggled. "I can’t wait for sexytime." She whispered on his ear and laughed.
Artie was smiling at her words and gave a smiling groan when she spoke honeymoon. "Honey, let's calmly we still have to do many things before," he said before grabbing her hand and bring it to the table of the bride and groom. When they sat, their friends began to sing songs. Jesse and Rachel did a wonderful duet; Mercedes did a fantastic solo with Sam playing the guitar. Now it's Artie's turn. He had to dedicate a song to his wife. "Good evening folks, now is the turn of the couple sing the song, so I dedicate this song to my wife, Tina. Girl, I love you" he said before picking up the guitar and start singing "This morning I woke up beside the river, the grass and the trees were green, flowers began growing, birds were sweetly singing, stronger and much deeper now than ever, lying by your side, never feel the stride, I know it's real this time..."
Tina grinned the whole time as her husband sang his song to her. She had to held in her emotions because she dont want to cry anymore, but shes clearly failing at it. After he sang his song, Tina took the microphone and started her spiel. "Okay, I guess its my turn." She started with a laugh. "First of all, thank you all so much for coming here tonight and sharing this special day with me and my husband. We really appreciate all of you coming here on our special day. To my best friend, my confidant, my ex-boyfriend, the future dad of my babies, to the love of my life, to my one and only husband, Artie, this is just the beginning of our forever and....I'm sure it's going to be a loooooooong night for us later." She said with a laugh and winked at him. "I love you, Artie. Here's to us. To our forever." She raised her glass and made a toast to everyone in the room. As the music started playing, she started singing her song for him. "You ran around inside my head, when you passed out, I felt dead and I realized you make me live and when my world starts to cave in, you jump inside and take my hand..."
Artie was dancing when Tina began singing. For a long time he didn't listen to Plumb's songs. It was a band they used to listen and sing together as teenagers. Artie burn the CDs off after he broke up with Tina. But after he heard this song again, he decided to buy all the albums on iTunes. As soon as she finished, he went to her and kissed her. After that, the singer of the band pulled another waltz and this time with all the guests and they to the tune of "If You're Not The One"
Tina sat on his lap for the dance. "You know, I'm the happiest girl in the world right now. Thank you, Artie....thank you for making my dreams come true. I promise that this won’t be the last time that we'll be this happy. I promise to make you happy as long as I'm alive. I love you soooo much, Arthur. I'll never forget this day for the rest of my life." She said, gazing at his deep blue eyes.
Artie was admiring the words which Tina tells him and her beauty. "Look, I wanted to have words to describe this moment but I don't. It's all happening at the same time and would spend all night just looking at you. I'm afraid to ruin this beautiful moment with floppy words" said the groom while dancing with the sound of "I Knew I Loved You" by Savage Garden. He didn't know why, but when the music started playing, Artie began to look Tina when he first saw with those gothic clothes that she wore for the first time. And he was with those clothes he accustomed to use: suspenders and funny and nerds belts. It was probably the first time he fell in love with her. His imagination creates a scene between them dancing together in that time. A dance that Artie always imagine to have for.
Tina was mezmerized with his gaze. Everything was so perfect for them that day, she really couldnt ask for anything more for her wedding. "You can say anything that you want." She giggled. "I've been blabbering so much the whole night. I mean, cmon, look at me, I feel like a mess now from all that crying. I swear this night is like a fairy tale, love." Tina said with tears on her eyes again. "Everything feels so surreal. It's like a dream, but instead, it is our reality." She sighed as she looked on her engagement and wedding rings that were on her finger. "Our rings are so beautiful. I cant believe I married the man of my dreams." She giggled and cupped his face to gaze at his eyes. "Arthur, I promise you that I will do my best to be the best wife for you and I promise you that I will always choose you, I will always choose us, above anything else. Today is just the beginning of our forever. I cannot wait to make more memories like this with you, darling. I love you so much, Arthur."
Artie was just silent but extremely happy. Not because he didn’t want to say something but because he didn't know what to say. His love for Tina at the time is so great that he didn't express this with words. Men are idiots, sometimes: They can't organize ideas to make a simple declaration of love. "I love you too so much, Tee." he said before giving her a kiss and serene and delicate but longer. Once they broke the kiss, the singer called Tina on stage for her to throw the bride's bouquet to the young ladies on the wedding party.
Tina went to the stage with a grin and took the microphone. "Okaaaaaay, Cedes, Sugar, Quinn, and the other maidens in the room, gather around!!" She laughed and saw her husband who was dancing to himself. "Such a dork." She whispered to herself and laughed. "Okay, heeeere it goes!!!" She turned her back and tossed the bouquet to the crowd and got surprised when Mercedes catched her boquet. "OOoooooohhh!!! Sam, you better catch the garter!!!" She announced at the microphone, laughing.
Artie stopped dancing and start to watch all the single girls going to be able to catch Tina's bouquet. When Tina threw the bouquet, Artie watched along with the boys the girls almost beating each other because of it until he noticed Mercedes just seeing the confusion. Kurt pushed Mercedes and so he did, the bouquet fell in her arms. It was a silence for a few seconds until everyone clapped and shouted "Sam and Mercedes are the next ones" - "Now, get your future fiancee, Sam" Artie said he tap the Sam's back.
Tina was still on stage and called out her husband. "Okay, it's garter time!!" She said with a laugh. "Artie, time to toss the garter to the men!" She laughed and assisted her husband to the stage. When Artie finally reached the stage, Tina took a seat on the chair that was at the center of the stage.
Artie was looking a little shy because although it was an extremely sensual situation, his family and Tina’s were witnessing the moment. He took a long breath for courage until he took Tina's hand: "Nah, you need to stand up and get close to me." he said in a calm tone. Artie brings Tina next to him and stay almost between her legs. He was slowly lifting the bride's dress to let her leg exposed to where the garter was. He slowly walked his fingers up her thighs and before he pulling the garter with his teeth; he looked at her and gently kissed her thigh giving a little lightly suck on her skin. Artie was lowering the garter until he gave permission for Tina sit in the chair. As soon as she sat down, he took the garter and kissed her foot and gave her a peck before calling the boys. "Let go, naughty boys, let's get this garter here," he said as the boys arrived.
Tina felt her cheeks getting flushed as he took the garter from her leg. The sensation of his lips next to her skin gave her chills. It's been a long time since they had contact and just the feeling of him next to her legs turned her on. But it was too early for that, Tina knew that the night is still young and after the reception, its gonna be a long night for the both of them. "HOLD ON HIS HANDS, TINA!!!" Santana shouted from the audience. All of them laughed at her as Artie finally got the garter out of her leg. After Artie gathered up the boys, he tossed the garter to them and as they expected, Sam took the garter. "Okay, now I guess we all know who's going to get married next!!" Tina said with a laugh as Sam and Mercedes went up the stage. "Higher!! Higher!!!" The newlyweds and the audience cheered for Sam. It was obvious that there was so much sexual tension between the two and Tina nudged at Artie. "Looks like it's going to be a long night for them too." She whispered to her husband and laughed. Now after Sam and Mercedes got back to their table, Tina took the mic once more. "Okay, so we all know about the saying that the groom must not see the bride's gown or else it'll be bad luck or whatever. But Artie and I had a bet. When the girls and I went to shop my wedding gown, I had 6 gowns to choose from and I ended up with this. The bet was if Artie can guess the gown that I chose among the 6, I'll be the one who will dance tonight. But sadly, he lost the bet. Now I guess it's time to do the dare, honey." She laughed. "And without further ado, I introduce to you my husband, Mr. Artie Abrams!!!"
Artie let out a "fuck" from his mouth. He thought Tina had forgotten the wedding gown bet. When he was now on stage he asked for help from the boys to dance and he asked Tina to sit in the chair. Once started playing "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye, Artie started swinging his shoulders in the rhythm of the music making lip sync perfomance. He moved and danced as he came close to Tina. When he was approaching, he took off his jacket and threw to the audience. Santana grabbed his jacket and began to shake the jacket while the girls clapped and shouted for Tina. Artie grabbed the Tina's hands and began to balance them and the chorus coming, he danced in the rhythm of the music while snapping his fingers.
Tina couldn’t help not to laugh as Artie started dancing to the music. But she felt that she was slowly getting turned on by the way he swayed his body to the music. Her cheeks were getting more and more flushed as he danced. "You. Me. Bed. Tonight." She whispered to his ear. As much as she enjoys the program, Tina couldnt wait for the reception to be over so that she can spend time with her husband. All of the audience and the bride were giggling and laughing at Artie's performance. The crowd kept on cheering for him after he was done with his performance. "Moooore!!!! Mooooore!!!!" Tina cheered along. But she noticed that he was already blushing so she whispered to the emcee to move along with the program. After the emcee cued that it was already time to cut the cake, the newlyweds cut the cake and took a forkful and fed it to each other. But Tina was feeling playful. So she took a piece of the icing and put it on his nose. "Boop." She laughed. "Oh honey, you look so cute." She continued.
Artie sighed in relief because Tina was pleased with the dance it. After, they followed the wedding program with wedding cake. It was so beautiful that they were afraid to cut. But it was necessary. As soon as they cut and fed each other, Tina put icing on the tip of his nose. "Aww come on ..." he said putting a little icing on the tip of her nose. "We are now matching" he said as he smiled. The cake was cut and all the guests and the bride and groom were feeding. After a few minutes, the wedding planner warned that they could have going to their honeymoon "Honey, we can already go to our honeymoon" he said while playing with her fingers.
Tina smirked at him as she played along with his fingers too. The sound of having him alone by herself that evening really made her excited. "Hmmmm, sounds like a plan to me." she said with a sheepish smile and caressed his chest. "The night is still young, my love." she said as she started to play with the buttons of his shirt. "I cannot wait to make love to you tonight...Arthur..." she whispered in his ear seductively.
Artie smirks when Tina said she could not wait to spend the night with him. It was a night they would have together as a married couple not to mention that they had taken a vow of purity. "I also love me too" said the young man giving a gentle kiss on her lips. Minutes later, Artie and Tina party left in toward the yacht that they would stay before traveling to France, where they would spend their honeymoon together. Even the fact that they will have a forever together, Artie could tell that he had the best day of his life.
Tagging: Artie Abrams, Tina Cohen-Chang
Where: Rachel Berry and Jesse St James Wedding, at Lima. July 24th - evening
Notes: Tina and Artie goes to Rachel and Jesse’s wedding. A duet is the only thing that they do together there. But Tina has a huge surprise to Artie that he will never forget.
Warming: So much love <3
Artie was ready and dressed for Rachel and Jesse's wedding. Rachel just took much time of her friends for prepare to marriage's celebration. Tina and he spent much time rehearsing. Not to mention that Tina was rehearsing with the girls of Glee Club for the wedding. Everyone will be there, almost. The boy waited eagerly to get his girlfriend in his house. Tina told her father hired a driver so she could go next to him in the car. As soon as he heard the horn, the boy left the house towards to girlfriend's family car. "Wow, you look beautiful," said the boy before receiving help from the driver to accommodate in the car.
Tina smiled and greeted him with a kiss. "Thanks, babe. You look dashing, love." she nervously giggled. Today was definitely special not only because of the wedding, but also with Tina's plan to propose to Artie. Just thinking about her speech made her insides intertwine, but she knew that this day was definitely worth the wait. Tina told Artie that she was just rehearsing with the other girls for their performance, but little did he know that Tina was planning something up her sleeve. She already asked permission from the newlyweds to steal a couple of seconds from their special day to ask the love of her life to be hers forever, they agreed and gave their blessing, and they couldn't be more happier for the both of them. Tina prepared everything up to the last detail; she bought engagement bands for the both of them and kept it on her purse. None of their friends knew of her plan, except for Rachel and Jesse, and for sure that everyone would be so shocked when she'll pop the question to him. As they were approaching the wedding venue, Tina remained silent during the whole ride as she was starting to get cold feet.
Artie grinned at Tina's compliment. He knew he was being exaggerated because of the suit's subject. He breathed a little to try to send away the nervousness. He was silent all the time during the ride though he finds it strange his girlfriend didn't say anything along the way either. When they came down from the car in towards the wedding venue, Artie was pushed by Tina up staying in their reserved places. Jesse was already there looking forward to Rachel's arrival. Tina got up to greet her girlfriends and when Artie turns his head for a while, Puck was on his another side. "Hey, Puck, what's up, dude? " said the nerdy boy shaking his old friend's hands.
Tina went and hugged the girls. She stayed with them for a while and chatted with them as she looked at Artie to see that he was still catching up also with the boys. She just smiled and giggled when Mercedes mentioned that she was blooming that day and joked that maybe Artie's loving is her secret that's why she was blooming. "Girl, when you got a boy like that, you got to be glowing like a glow stick all day." Santana chimed in. Tina couldn't help but to blush with her friends' comments, "Stop it, you guys." she laughed. As the wedding organizer announced that the ceremony was about to start, they settled in to their seats. As the music started to play and as Rachel started walking down the aisle, Tina couldn't help not to cry. She was not just happy for her friend, but she could also picture herself walking down the aisle with Artie waiting for her at the altar. She held Artie's hand, and tried not to lose it in front of everyone.
Artie continued chatting with friend while Tina was talking to the girls. "I mean, are Quinn and you living together? And you guys didn't tell us? "Artie asked with surprise. “Yes, we are living together but we will also organize the wedding and engagement later. Quinn still wants Beth's custody and solves the problems she has with her father." Puck said. When Artie heard his friend speak of Quinn's father, he felt a pang of sadness as he remembered about Tina and her mother. Artie knew she was a bad person but she was her mother and he had yet to think of a way of two to forgive each other. When they warned the wedding would start, Artie held the hand of his girlfriend and when the ceremony began, he handed a handkerchief to her "Try not to cry. This will mess up your beautiful makeup," he said giggling at her.
Tina nodded and smiled as she wiped the tears that were flooding her eyes. Rachel was so stunning and so beautiful, and Jesse couldn't help not to cry also as he was waiting for his bride. There was not a dry eye in the room when the couple said their vows. Everyone was in awe on how the couple was so in love with each other as they got to share that special moment with the newlyweds. As the pastor announced Jesse's cue to kiss his bride, everyone jumped on their seats and cheered for them with glee. "I'm so happy for our friends. I'm so glad that they finally have each other forever." Tina whispered to Artie as everyone was still applauding.
Artie held his girlfriend hand as he listened to the pastor and the rabbi's words. When they made the vows, Artie saw going through his head every moment that Rachel and Jesse had together: the passion, disillusionment, forgiveness, intrigue, confidence and ultimately love again. It was basically as it happened between Tina and him. Once the ceremony was over, the "just married" couple passed by his friends, Artie smiled at the words that Tina had told him. She was thrilled. Everyone was. Artie pressed his face to whisper in her ear. "I can't wait for our moment too" said the boy before giving a softly kiss on her cheek and get ready to go to the wedding reception.
Tina watched him as they were both on their way to the reception. She couldn’t help but to blush as his words echoed in her head. Everything was overwhelming her, the wedding, the prep for the proposal, and just the way that he clearly sees himself getting married to her. Tina remained her cool as they settled down to their table along with their other friends. Her nervousness escalated as the big moment came close. She remained silent the whole time and avoided looking at Artie because she might lose it. Everyone cheered for the newlyweds when they got inside the hall. Everyone was having their time of their lives as the celebration started. There were enough drinks to make everyone drunk by the end of the night and Tina took a few shots to calm down her nerves as Artie and she went to the stage to sing their duet for the newlywed's first dance.
Artie was following cheerfully to the wedding reception. He was eager to sing along with the girlfriend the song they had rehearsed. Although everything was looking good, the boy noticed that Tina was acting strangely. He doesn't know if it was a mixture of emotions on account of marriage but Artie began to wonder if it was a good idea to have said something about "I look forward to we get married someday." But he was silent all the time and decided to wait to ask it to her while they were alone. It was the waltz time. Artie and Tina went to the stage and began to sing the duet. As they sang, the boy looked at the couple and for people who danced the waltz and then looked at his beautiful girlfriend. Tina smiled at him every time he looked. "I think it's alright" thought the boy while they finished the duet.
Tina was shaking the whole time, especially when the song ended. It was already time. Artie got surprised when Tina didn't accompany him when he got down on the stage, but she smiled at him and assured him that everything's alright. The ushers wheeled Artie to the center of the dancefloor, facing her. "Well, uh, first of all, I'd like to congratulate my friends, Rachel and Jesse. I wish you guys a wonderful married life, and thank you for letting me steal a few minutes of your special day, and for that, I am really grateful to the both of you. To the love of my life, Artie, this song is for you." Her voice started to quiver as she sang the first lines of Angel of Mine but as her eyes met his, her nervousness started to fade. Tina also prepared a slideshow of their pictures together since they were freshmen in high school. She could see that Artie's starting to tear up as he watched their pictures flash in front of everyone. When she was finished singing, her pulse started to rush again. She took a deep breath and looked at Artie once more. Because there is only one person that matters at that moment, and that is Artie. "Uh, let me tell you guys a story. During the first day of my freshman year in McKinley, there was this kid that bumped me and made my books fell on the floor. I was new to the school so I was figuring out my way and then there's this kid that's running late for his class and then bumps you and wheels on your foot. Bummer, right? But I didn't got mad, he apologized for it anyway. But when our eyes met, there was something inside of me sparked. I knew there was something special with that boy. Lunch time came, and I didn't have any table to go to. Heck, I didn't really have any friends at that time. I mean, who would want to be friends with the goth girl with a stutter, right? But then I found him, sitting alone and eating quietly at the corner of the cafeteria. Since there were no other tables available, I decided to go and introduce myself. God, I was so nervous that time. I don't even know if he'll talk to me. Luckily, he agreed and we became inseparable since then. He became my best friend. And as I got to know him more everyday, I couldn't help not to fall for him. Gosh, it's so hard having a crush with your best friend. Like, my insides always get somersaults every time I'd get to hang out with him. And then when we both joined Glee Club, I got more reasons to spend more time with him! And then he asked me out on a date. He became my first boyfriend, and contrary to popular belief, my first love. But we were young and naive back then. As expected in all relationships, things got rocky for us and we eventually broke up...because of my fault. But I don't want to ponder on that anymore, what's more important to me right now is that we already have each other again and this time, I don't want to let go of him anymore. I know it's weird for a girl to propose, but hey, our relationship has ever been dysfunctional since the very beginning and I wouldn't want it any other way." she said with a smile, "A-Artie..." she paused and took a deep breath, wiping away the tears that were on the corner of her eyes. "First of all, I don't say this often, but thank you. T-thank you for accepting me and loving me. I-I couldn't thank you enough for everything that you've done for me. Thank you for showing me what unconditional love is. T-thank you for accepting all my flaws and shortcomings, and thank you for being so patient with me. Artie, I-I couldn't imagine my life without you. You...you make me a better person, and I...I don't want to spend the rest of my life with someone else aside from you." Tina went down the stage and knelt in one knee in front of him, took out a small box and opened it, "Arthur Benjamin Morhange Abrams, will you spend your forever with me?"
Artie feels satisfied to finish the duet was sung with Tina. Jesse and Rachel were wonderful waltzing while they sang. As he was heading to the tables, his girlfriend didn't follow him. He found it weird but in the signs which she made, it seemed that everything was fine. "It would probably the girls' performance." he thought. When they took him to the front of the stage, only Tina was there. When she began to speak, Artie was even happy because he figured out that Rachel would leave Tina to sing a solo. But when Tina began to look and offer the music for him, all thoughts have changed. Tina began singing "Angel of Mine" by Monica while her pictures with Artie appeared on the stage's screen. What was happening? Artie didn't know whether starting to figure out what is it going' on or he been thrilled by the photos that passed through it. He was eventually taken by all the emotions to see all the photos through the screen. As soon as she finished, and singing and began to tell the story of how they met and how any relationship between them were developing, Artie was deducted why was she doing all this. Until his head began to think. But before he really think about what she was doing, she arrived in front of him kneeling. "She'll ask me to marry me" he thought quickly. And he was right. When Tina showed to him the engagement rings box, Artie started crying with emotion and held her hands. There's all expectation feeling through the people on wedding's saloon really to know his answer. "All these years ..." the boy take a deep huge breath before began to speak - "All those years, I spent all my high school times singing love songs in my bedroom without any destination. But I knew deep down in my mind that it was these songs that I always devoted... And most of them were for you. I remember the song I ever sang was more "Anytime" by Bryan McKnight. I was usually singing most the part "Would you come back to me? Come back to me" or "I miss you". Now I can simply say to you: "I want to, I do" - he said finally in tears waiting for her to exchange engagement rings with him.
Tina cried with happiness as they exchanged rings. Everyone applauded as they hugged each other tight and Tina cupped his face and planted a kiss on his lips. "No need to sing sad love songs anymore, my love. I'm yours forever." She said, kissing his lips once more. When they both got back to their table, Tina waved her hand at Rachel and said thanks. Rachel replied with a smile, congratulating the newly engaged couple. All of their friends at the table weren’t even expecting that Tina was planning something. They were all happy for them and Mercedes joked that she has to be Tina's maid of honor on their wedding day. Quinn told them that Beth should also be their flower girl. "Don’t worry; all of you are going to be there. Right, love?" Tina giggled, wrapping her arms around him. She couldn’t stop staring at Artie to see how happy he is.
Artie didn't know how to explain all the feelings he was feeling. But he could tell the joy was stamped all over. With all the applauses, the two went to the table where the Glee Club gang has already created expectations for their marriage. Tina answered all questions but Artie didn't stop to admire the ring was on his finger. It seemed surreal or even a distant dream. But it was real. He and Tina were engaged and he had to accept that this was really happening and it wasn't the impossible path anymore. "Ahhh sorry" he said out of the trance. "I was busy looking at the ring, I'm sorry, guys. We will arrange everything so, don't worry about it." Now everything was really happening. But Artie needed to leave a bit of trance before making hasty decisions. "I don't even process what is happened ..."- he said to his newly bride. - "I'm still surprised ... I ... still have to believe that this was real ... because ... it's a lot of happiness to my skinny body support ... thank you." - He said finally. He hardly knew what to say or how to begin talking. He was just watching his teenage dream happen in front of them. Not the way he planned but with a result which brought him one of the best memories he will remember for the rest of his life.
Tina grinned and kissed him once more. "I can’t wait to spend my whole life with you, Artie." She replied. "Wait, I need to show you something." she took out the page from notebook that she found the other day at his house. "I saw this one from a notebook that I found under your couch while we were hanging out the other day..." she suddenly got teary eyed as she got overwhelmed by everything again. ”We can start that list all over again if you want to." She smiled.
Artie was shocked by the piece of paper that Tina had shown him. He began to cry silently as his hands trembled slightly when he saw the paper. "I thought I had lost this list ..." he said as he looked at his hands which were tremble for holding the list. "I didn't realize even half of the things are here," he said vaguely. Several memories came in his mind leaving him unstable and emotional. He even paid attention more to the performances that rolled on wedding reception, as well as Tina too. "When I burned the things that I remembered about you ..." he sniffed before ending the conversation "... I just remembered this notebook. It was the first thing I thought of burning because I never wanted you to see that. In my mind, you had broken my chances to realize those dreams. Maybe my mother must have caught it before and hidden it ... "he said before lowering his head. Artie didn't know why he was crying, but the boy's face was red and he wouldn't stop crying.
Tina hugged him tight as he started crying. "Hey, hey, don’t worry. Everything's okay now. We're engaged now, love. Nothing can stop us, right?" she couldn’t help not to cry also as she heard his words. She knew she had hurt him so much at that time, but she remained calm as she reassured him. "What's important is that we have each other again, right? I'm not going anywhere, love. I'm yours." she cupped his cheeks and gazed lovingly to his swollen eyes. "I love you, Artie. I love you so much."
Artie was getting calmer as he heard Tina talk to him. Now he was no longer afraid. He had accomplished his dream and she was with him. Once she took his face to say that she loved him, he only kisses her with passion in response the things she had said. It was such fierce and ardent kisses that make Puck, Santana and Sam shouted the table near them - "Get a room!" Artie smiled at Tina and stuck his tongue out to them. "I love you" he said after, turning to his bride. So Rachel called everyone into the hall and started playing dance music. "After years of prom workout, let's dance with me?" he said wheeling away from the table trying to influence her to join him.
Tina laughed when their friends started to tease them. When the music started to play, everyone gathered to the dancefloor. "I thought you'd never ask, fiancé." She laughed and sat on his lap as they went to the middle of the dancefloor. "I can’t believe we're already engaged." she grinned, looking at her ring in such amazement.
Artie smiled and giggled when Tina was talking with him. "Yeah, we know that we will do many things before to marriage but we will go to make anything for us." he said while kiss her hand. It's good to feel so nice with her. While the dancing party is on the fire, Artie and Tina was there looking at each other in a lovely way... "Thank you..." he starts to talk. “Thank you for realize that I can make you happy. And I promise that I'll doing my best just for see the huge smile on your face"
Tina blushed at his words. "Just having you in my life is more than enough for me" she smiled, "I promise that I will always fight for us, no matter what happens. No matter how many arguments we may have, no matter how much we misunderstand each other, I'll always choose you. I'll always choose us. I've never been this happy my whole life, Artie. Thank you. I can't wait to spend forever with you, love." she grinned and planted a kiss on his lips.
Artie retrieved her kisses with the same passion and tenderness. It was better than many proms that he had. He realized his teenage dream right there. After a long and kindness hug to her, Tina stand off his lap and they start to dance again. Also the really party it's for Rachel and Jesse. They decided to share the happiness to their Glee Club fellows until the dawn if it was possible.
Tina stood up and danced along with their other friends and partied all night. Drinks were also available, and they all decided to take in a few shots. As Tina noticed that Artie was sort of starting to get a little bit tipsy, she decided to call her driver to fetch them and bring them to the motel. As they both bid goodbye to their friends and to the newlyweds, Artie protested for a bit. "You're getting drunk, Artie. I don't want you to have a major hangover tomorrow." she laughed. He wasn’t allowed getting drunk too much because little did he know; she still has something up her sleeve.
Artie was having the time of his life. His friends were married, his other friends were dancing, laughing, having fun at the party reception of course, and he was engaged to the woman of his life. So alcohol to celebrate the moment was totally allowed. After a few shots, Artie was feeling more relaxed but not drunk. Tina barred him to drink more because of the hangover. He objected at first but gave reason to her in the end. After a few minutes, they say goodbyes to their friends and went home, he thought.
Notes: Tina decides to visit Artie after her hanging out with Santana and Brittany and she found something that she will never imagined.
TW: Nothing.
Artie had a Saturday almost stalled after last night. He had left with his A/V high school club friends but he drank too much. When he returned home, the boy send messages to Tina drunk, he passed out and woke up the next day with a big hangover. Tina decides to visit him to take care of him. As he waited his girlfriend arrive, the boy is watching movie in the living room.
Artie: *door bells* Tina, if it's you, the door is open!
Tina: *opens the door* Hi! *gives him a peck on the lips* How're you feeling right now? Are you okay now?
Artie: hey babe *pecks her lips back* Sit beside me, please. Yeah, I'm feeling better now. I made some soup and drink so much water. I'm better now.

Artie: Hold on. *frowned* When we talked about for threesome I didn't remember that I accepted for you not include me on that.
Tina: *still keeping a straight face* Well, it's just me, Britt and Santana. You dont have to be included if you don’t want to. *tries not to chuckle*
Artie: *starts to get angry* I said that because I'm satisfied with you. Now, if you come here for say that you had a threesome with them enjoy it, you can go home now. *prepares to take the chair*
Tina: *holds his arm* He-hey, I was just kidding. I'm sorry, Artie. It was just a joke. We went to the sex shop because they bought something for them and they also bought a gift for Rachel and Jesse. I just tagged along with them. I'm sorry, babe.
Artie: *takes her hand off his arms* This is not funny, you know. Don't make jokes about this, Tina. This is... not nice, okay? *pouts*
Tina: Im sorry... I know it wasnt really funny. I'm sorry, Artie. *frowns* I-If you dont want me to be here...I-I'll just go home now. *sighs*
Artie: *sighs* I don't want you go home. Come on, sit down. I just that... You don’t even joke about this with me, do you promise me?
Tina: *nods* I promise. *half smiles* Sorry...
Artie: Okay... *deep breath* So, have you ever gone to a sex shop before or was it your first time?
Tina: First time. *chuckles* Gosh, there were so many dildos and other kinky stuff. And some of the dildos were so huge and I just wince just even thinking of using those huge dildos. Like who the hell buys those? *laughs* But...err, Jen gave me my first vibrator, though. *laughs*
Artie: *chuckles* I understand your point. I remember when I've gone to a sex shop before. Look at the big dildos make a man really sad. *giggles* But it's okay. Also good sex isn't only have a huge penis. You need to know how to do. But I like some games like sexy dices. Also the costumes. Some costumes are wonderful. *blushes* Did you have a vibrator and you didn't tell me.... ahhh Tina why? *smirks*
Tina: *smiles shyly* Really? You like costumes? *giggles* Well, yeah, I do agree that a guy must know how to satisfy his girl. That’s the most important thing. Right, babe? *winks and laughs* Well, I rarely used it in the past. Especially after what happened with Paul. I think I haven’t used that for a year. *laughs* I think I should buy a new one. *laughs again*
Artie: Ahhh stop it *blushes* Why did you buy a new one today? You had a huge opportunity. Well, I was long time ago that I've gone there. And I was a minor. Now that I can go to sex shop I don't go there anymore and I don't know why *giggles*
Artie: I don't know. I never found someone after Brittany to go with me. I almost went with Jessica but I got sick.
Tina: We can go sometime if you want. *chuckles*
Artie: Yeah, okay. But not in Lima. People say the NY sex shops are amazing. We can go there when summer is over.
Tina: *grins* I'd love that. But, uh, babe, no handcuffs and whips, please.
Artie: Of course. What do you think I am? Christian Grey?! Don't worry, babe. I rather love things that didn't hurt. *kisses her cheek*
Tina: *smiles* that’s why I love you so much. *hugs him* Wait, I've already told you why I'm afraid of handcuffs, right?
Artie: No, but i can imagine why. Cause one day you had a nightmare that you are handcuffed and I told you to go to sleep again. Is it because of Paul, right?
Tina: Yeah...he handcuffed me tight when he took advantage of me. *shows her scar* See? Well, it's really not that big so you'd barely notice it.
Artie: *touches her scars* Yeah... now I notice this... *kisses* I promise that his monster never haunts you anymore. I can't let him to do this to you again.
Tina: *smiles and caresses his cheeks* what did I ever do to be this lucky?
Artie: *tilts his head* we’re both lucky... So... do you wanna watch a movie with me? And then we can order a pizza for tonight. What do you think?
Tina: *pecks his lips* Sounds like a plan to me. *grins* I'll have pepperoni.
Artie: Okay... Choose the film. I will call for a delivery, okay? *takes the phone*
Tina: Okay. *looks at the dvds* Hmm. Ahh, this one....and uhhh, ooh this one's also nice. *giggles*
Artie: *hangs up the phone* Okay. I asked for pizza, yo! Now what movie did you choice for us to watch?
Tina: *smiles* Heeeere. Titanic and A Walk to Remember. Which one do you like? *laughs*
Artie: What a sophie's choice for make us cry. Well, I'll pick Titanic cause James Cameron is James Cameron.
Tina: Such a neeeerd. *giggles* Of course you'd pick Titanic. *laughs and puts it on the dvd player and goes back to the couch* It's been a long time since the last time i saw this movie. *chuckles and snuggles on him*
Artie: *stays comfortable on the couch and holds on her* Well, I saw this year on my film class. It was so different to see this movie with and adult mind.
Tina: *grins* Really? How come?
Artie: Well, When you saw Titanic you got attached for Rose and Jack romance plot. It's kinda normal to pay attention about them because is the most of part of movie and It's a good love story, to be honest. But the last time I saw the movie I paid attention more for old lady's Rose. How this woman fights for the memories and for her friends/be lovers. Look: most of people that travel with her for 2/3 days were dead. And she makes the people goes away for Titanic cause it was these people's grave and it violated.
Tina: *smiles as she listens to him talk passionately* You're gonna be a great director someday, babe. I can see it from now, you'll be one of the industry's brightest directors. *grins*
Artie: I hope so. *grins* There are amazing students as I am at my college. And the LA film students are pretty great too. It's a hard competition but I'll doing my best. Thank you for believe in me. *kisses her forehead and the doorbell rings* Babe, maybe, it's the pizza *give the money to her* Can you bring it to us?
Artie: Thank you, my lady, Yummmmy pizza. Well, let's go to watch the movie. Are you ready? takes the control and push the button*
Tina: *eats the pizza and nods* Yeaaah *chuckles*
Artie: *the film starts and old lady rose appears* If I were born before I'll marry with this woman. Such a amazing actress. *take another slice*
Tina: *Looks at him while eating* Well, I'll marry Leo. *laughs as she takes another bite*
Artie: Come on, even me want to marry Leo. *laughs* I'm kidding. If you choose three actors for working, what could it be your choice?
Tina: Hmmm, well let’s see. Zac Efron, Ryan Gosling, aaaand Brad Pitt. *laughs*
Artie: Come on, Zac Efron?! *lift eyebrows* Okay... *continues watch the movie*

Artie: *giggles* Okay, okay... Who am I to judge... Ohhh Jack see Rose for the first time. This is a trap, Jack, love is a trap. *giggles*
Tina: *An attempt to take a bite but her pepperoni fell off on the carpet and placed the slice on the pizza box and sees a notebook when she picks up the food* Hmm, what is this? *reads the notebook* Oh, it's Artie's notebook... *reads one page and gets teary eyed* "...love her" *hears Artie coming back to the living room and hides the notebook on her bag and wipes the tears* H-Hi. *gets the pizza from the box and takes a bite*
Artie: Sorry, it's my mom on the phone. She asked me for going to my aunt's house right now and... Are you already crying because of the movie?
Tina: Wha- *sniffs* Y-yeah... *takes a bite again and shoves it in her mouth*
Artie: *goes close to her* don’t cry, babe *perks her lips* Tina, I’m sorry. I need to go to my aunt's house for help her on the computer. Can you give me some ride? I promise that we will finish the movie another day.
Tina: *smiles* No, it's not your fault. *chuckles dryly* Sure. It’s okay, Artie. I think I don't want to finish the movie anymore....too much drama.
Artie: Okay... so let's go? Just help me to clean the stuffs and we're going there, okay?
Tina: *nods* Yeah, okay. *smiles and helps him clean the room*

Warnings: (None.)
Artie had talked to Tina about the wedding of Rachel and Jesse. Tina was sick, then Artie decided to prepare some soup to her. Probably the kitchen of her mansion wasn't adaptable for him, so he decided to prepare the soup at home, and get her ready in a pan. When he arrived on her mansion, he opened the door and went into the kitchen to put the small pot in the microwave to heat up the soup. The boy went straight to her room and saw Tina all covered with sheets and a very tired looking.
Artie: *whispering* Baby, are you awake? I'm here.
Tina: *sniffs* Yeah, I'm awake. Come in.
Artie: Hehehehe, You still look beautiful. Are you hungry?
Tina: *blushes* Stop it. I look like a mess. *cough* Yeah, a bit hungry. *covers her mouth with her hand and sniffs*
Artie: Hmmm, take some shower. I'll prepare the soup outside, okay?
Tina: *pouts* Do I really have to?
Artie: Yeah, because you need to cure this fever. Shower is the best solution.
Artie: I can help you with you want it.
Tina: *nods* Okay. *smiles faintly*
Artie: *take Tina’s tower off the dresser* so, let's go to take this fever away?
Tina: *nods* Thanks, love.
Artie: *wheeling to the bathroom* Ow, this is a bath tub. Can you use this? Maybe is easier to take a shower. Take off your clothes. I'll take clean ones to dress after.
Tina: *nods* okay. *opens the faucet, takes off her clothes and goes inside the tub*
Artie: There we go. Clean clothes and underwear. Now let me take some shampoo. I'll take care of your hair. Where is it?
Tina: *coughs* It's somewhere there. *points to the cabinet*
Artie: Oh-oh... There's higher to me. *frowns* I had an idea. *take some paper and made a ball if it* Well, let's me see if is going to fall with my strength... one... two... three... *throws the ball and the shampoo bottle falls* I got it, I got it! *takes the bottle* now let's take care of you...
Tina: *smiles as she watches him* Thanks for doing this, babe.
Artie: *massages her hair* Anytime, babe. Tina... Can I asked you something?
Tina: *nods* Sure, babe. What is it? *coughs*
Artie: Well, what was your life without your mother here? I mean, your dad and you didn't miss her?
Tina: I'm not gonna lie, *coughs* I miss having her annoying ass around here sometimes. But it really feels nice to be free from that woman. Dad misses her too, but he's focusing more on our business now since he's planning to have a branch at Providence. *coughs* The last time I heard news from her was she flew back to Korea for good. And thank God that she's not gonna go back here anymore.
Artie: *frowns* Baby... But you didn't love her?
Tina: *sniffs* C-can we eat now? I'm starving.
Artie: *cleans the hands and gives the towel to her* Dress yourself. I will bring the soup to you.
Tina: *gets the towel from him and gets dressed and lies down on her bed*
Artie: *come back from kitchen and bring the soup to her* Here, babe. *give the soup to her and keeps on silence*
Tina: *takes the soup from him* Thank you, my love. *starts to eat but notices his behavior* Is there anything wrong, love?
Artie: I don't know. I concerned about this, Tina. Look, I know that your mother did things that it's not okay, even me I don't like her but she's your mother, you know? I mean... I don't want you to hate your mother because of me or anything.
Tina: It's not just because of you, Artie. She's always been controlling me since I was a kid, and she never really respected me as a person. *coughs*
Artie: I know... But I know that you still love her, Am I right?
Tina: *sniffs* Well, to be honest, after what happened during that lunch, I dont know. I really lost my respect for her. She even said I deserved to get raped. *coughs*
Artie: Hm... I understand. I don't know. Even the facts, she is your mother. It's different about Paul or someone else. I hope that someday she understands that she was wrong and she ask for forgiviness.
Tina: Yeah, I hope so. *coughs* Are you hungry? You can get soup for yourself, too. *sniffs*
Artie: Nahhh, I'm okay. I already ate before get here. You need to take care to yourself. Well... We need to talk about the songs that we're going to sing to Rachel and Jesse's wedding.
Tina: *coughs* Okay. Hmm, what do you want to sing
Artie: Well, there some nice songs here like: The Only Exception - Paramore... No... this song don't, i don't have nice memories with this song hehehe
Tina: Why? *coughs* Ugh I swear this cough is the worst. *sniffs*
Artie: Well, I was looking at you when you were with Mike while Rachel sing this song to Finn on Glee Club...
Artie: Well, we can sing "You and Me" by Lifehouse. This song is the waltz song. That song will be great for them dancing together.
Tina: Oh, I see. Okay. *coughs* I hope I'd get better before the wedding. I dont want to sound like a horse when we'll sing our duet. *coughs* You know, I always thought of you whenever I'd hear Thinking of You. You were the first one that came to my mind when I first heard that song.
Artie: Thinking of you? By Kate Perry? Someone already sang this on Glee Club? Well, I thought that you'd say "Isn't She Lovely" *giggles* and don't worry. The wedding will happy in two weeks. Don't worry about it. Until there, you'll be great.
Tina: I dont think no one has sang that in Glee Club. hehe *sniffs* Why? I thought you dedicated that one for Brittany?
Artie: Ahhh, that's right, I forgot that I did this with this song, I'm sorry.
Tina: I was just mum about it because you seem happy with her and I really couldn’t compete with that. I broke your heart... *feels a tear slip out and wipes it immediately* I’m sorry...
Artie: You can't say I'm sorry I just... Sometimes I think that I must ask to come back to you in the past. But I was in the same situation. You're happy with Mike and you did things with him that you can't do with me. So that's why I figured out that you were happier than me. One thing that I regret that I gave my virginity so quickly. You did the right step. You gave to someone that really takes care with you. Brittany was nice to me sometimes but... She wasn't like Mike was to you.
Tina: *sighs* Im sorry, Artie. I-I'm so sorry... *feels tears forming on her eyes and wipes it quickly*
Artie: Why you said I'm sorry? Stop to blaime yourself, Tina, we both make mistakes, okay? *hugs her*
Tina: *hugs him back* Im sorry, love. *sniffs* Hey, dont hug me too much. You'll get my germs.
Artie: Ahhh... Sorry. *goes away* Baby, when I said about this I'm not complain with you, okay? I complain about myself sometimes so don't take the pain to yourself okay? You can be free to tell something if you want it, okay?
Tina: *nods* Sorry, love. I just couldnt help not to feel guilty sometimes...
Artie: Well, but don't take carry this alone. It was in the past, you know? That's okay, now.
Tina: *nods* Thank you, Artie. *faintly smiles*
Artie: Well, So... Let's choose: Are you okay with "You and Me" by Lifehouse? I really like this song, to be honest.
Tina: Yeah, I think that would be a great one
Tina: *coughs* Babe, am I hot? I...I feel a bit dizzy...
Artie: Hmmm let me see it. *touch her neck and her head* Hmmm, probably. Where's the thermometer?
Tina: I know its somewhere on my desk. *cough*
Tina: I checked my temperature last night but I didn’t had any fever.
Artie: I found it. Put this under in your arm. Let me check if you're okay...
Tina: *finishes the soup and puts the bowl on the nightstand before putting the thermometer*
Artie: *waiting for some seconds while the thermometer works and smiles at her* you have no idea what I’m thinking about right now.
Tina: *coughs* what is it?
Artie: I was thinking how it will be our wedding. I know it's very soon but I guess if I'm thinking about this with you that are the point that I want to spend all my life with you.
Tina: *blushes* You dont know how much I want to kiss you right now, but I cant.
Artie: Hehehehe don't worry. I can kiss your hand so it was okay. *kisses her hand* I love you.
Tina: *caresses his cheeks* I love you too, babe. Thank you so much for taking care of me. *sniffs*
Artie: Anytime. It's my duty to take care of you. So let me see the thermometer. *check* babe, you're not in fever. Maybe you took a shower so probably you feel your body warm. Now you need to take rest, okay?
Tina: *nods* I'm so glad to have you, love. *coughs* Ugggh my throat is getting too painful from all the coughing. *pouts*
Artie: Okay... Now it's vaporub, time. Show me your chest and neck, let me spread this.
Tina: *laughs* Oh my god, Artie.
Artie: Girl, come on. don't take this a sexual moment. You need to feel well first, okay? *giggles and blushes*
Tina: *laughs* I'm not saying that it's a sexual moment. *continues to laugh* I just suddenly remembered Blaine. *opens her shirt on the chest area while laughing*
Artie: Omg, that's true. But at least, he felt okay after the health care. *giggles and spread the vaporub and massages her chest*
Tina: *nods* Yup. That chicken noodle soup I made really makes wonders. *giggles* I'm sure I'll be feeling a lot better tomorrow because you're here. *smiles and closes her eyes as he starts to massage her* Ahhh, Artieee. Yes, that feels so good, babe.
Artie: You're not helping me to make this a non-sexual content, Tina *smirks and giggled* I'm kidding. Now let's go to the neck and nose and then, you go to sleep.
Tina: *opens one eye* I did that on purpose. Gotcha. *laughs* Okay, love, do your thing. *giggles*
Artie: Okay... So that's end of history. Now you need to sleep, babe. I need to come home to fix my stuffs there and I promise that I will call you back. I'll stay here until you sleep.
Tina: *nods and yawns* Thank you so much for taking care of me, my love. *smiles*
Artie: My pleasure. Now, stay comfortable. *smiles at her and starts to sing* This morning I woke up beside the river, the grass and trees were green, flowers began growing, the birds so sweetly sang stronger and much deeper now than ever lying by your side, I never feel this right, I know It's real this time... My heart... is yours... My heart is yours.... *singing while he caresses her hair*
Tina: *holds his hand and mumbles while her eyes are closed* you don’t know how much you make me feel the luckiest girl in the world, my love... *slowly drifts to sleep*
Artie: *smiles* sleep well, darling... *hears the door opened* Hello, Mr. Cohen Chang.
Mr. Cohen-Chang: Oh, hi there, Artie. Please, just call me Carl. It's not like we haven't known each other for a long time now. *chuckles* I just checked on Tina. I heard that you were singing to her. I might be interrupting you two, so I'll better go now. You can continue with what you're doing. I trust you, young man. I know my princess is in good hands.
Artie: Mr. Carl... Do you believe that Tina and her mother will talk with each other again?
Mr. Cohen-Chang: *sighs* You know, Vivian may act tough and bitchy most of the time, but I know that deep in her heart she loves Tina so much. And I hope that Tina will not close her doors for her mother. I know that Tina really got deeply hurt by what happened during the other day, and by the way, I apologize for what happened during that time, Artie. Anyway, I know that Tina got hurt by her mother's words, but I know that my daughter will always have a space in her heart to forgive her mother. *sighs* I'm sorry that you have to witness everything that day, Artie.
Artie: You know that Vivian never liked me and probably never will. But I'm feel sad for they're living apart now. I know that her words hurt so much your daughter and me but I want someday they get along. I want to her to look at her daughter and feel proud of her, like she did when Tina plays piano. Also I want that she accepted me like a good choice for her daughter like you do. I know it was very soon to say that but I want to marry with your daughter someday. And I really appreciate her mother on the wedding so proud for her daughter like we will.
Mr. Cohen-Chang: *sits down next to Artie* you know what, Artie, I know for a fact that Vivian doesn't despise you that much. Vivian is proud of Tina, but Vivian really has this certain way of thinking that I myself really do not understand. That is the reason why we also had to go on our separate ways. I really do not know why she had to do those things to you. You're a good guy, Artie. And if you're asking for my daughter's hand right now, I would say that my Tina is still young and I know that she has big dreams. *pauses* And I know that you are one of them, so I'd be glad to give my daughter's hand to you when the right time comes. Just do not disappoint me, Artie. I know my daughter has shed tears for you in the past, and I do not want that to happen again. And I dont want you and Tina to end up like me and her mother. You know what, Artie, this is the very first time again in years that I've seen my daughter this happy. And it's all because of you. She never really defended someone in front of us, and you're the only guy that she had ever fought for with her mother. Even way before when you were dating when you were in high school.
Artie: I know that she had big dreams. We're not getting married until to make our own dreams come true. And I promise that I will never even try to make your daughter crying again. Well, she cried for many things but you understood what I said, right? *smiles* Sometimes that fact of Mike and her dating still hunting me and I'm afraid that I'm not good enough for her. But for Tina and you, I'll do everything for make Tina happy.
Mr. Cohen-Chang: *pats his shoulder* Artie, there is nothing to be insecure about. I know that you are more than good enough for my daughter and I am really looking forward for you to legally be my son. I know that I can trust you with Tina, and I hope that you will stand by with your word. *looks at the time* Oh, I need to be going now. I still have to run to the office for a meeting. Take care of my princess, okay? I'll see you again soon, my son.
Artie: *smiles* Thank you, Mr. Carl. Have a nice working. I'll going when the maids come back at house, okay? *sees Tina's father goes away and look at Tina happily before goes off her bedroom*
