Something || Charlie & Sebastian
When Sebastian announced he was coming over, Charlie didn’t even bother getting up from where she sat on her bed with her back against the wall propped up on too many pillows for one person. His climbing in her window late at night wasn’t exactly a new concept, so she was used to it by now. As long as she left the window unlocked and made sure her mother was already asleep, the two of them were fine. That was more than easy considering the fact that her mother went to bed ridiculously early, and it had been pretty hot in her room that day so she had kept the window open anyway. She did however pause the episode of Adventure Time she had been watching and shut her laptop, not wanting Sebastian to be able to take her by surprise this time.
He was right in saying they hadn’t seen one another very much lately. Charlie herself had been busy with a huge project she had to work on for her media studies class, trying to make a mini-documentary. It had been handed in earlier that day though, so with the stress of schoolwork lifted from her shoulders she found she had a lot more time for the better things in life, such as boyfriends. Especially boyfriends.
After a moment, she looked down at herself and her eyes widened. Charlie was dressed in her usual weekday pyjamas, a ridiculously frilly ensemble that she wore more ironically than anything else. It was comfortable, but definitely not something she wanted her boyfriend to see her in when there was the promise of “~something” on the table. She practically tumbled off the bed in her haste, making her way over to the dresser to rip open the top drawer and pull out a fancy nightgown her aunt had gotten her for her birthday. It wasn’t really Charlie’s style, but she knew she looked damn good in it. Usually how good she looked when going to sleep wasn’t a concern, but of course that changed with Sebastian on his way. She went as fast as she could trying to get changed, becoming tangled up several times as her actions became clumsy due to trying to go so fast. In the confusion, she fell over onto her bed and then became tangled even more in bedsheets, though managing to get the nightgown on somehow in the process. When she poked her head out from the mess, she found she had managed to fall onto the ground covered by the blanket. She sighed and pushed herself up into a sitting position, silently scolding herself for her clumsy nature. Charlie pulled the blanket up around her head so the only thing poking out was her face, then leaned against the bedframe to wait for Sebastian there on the ground. Tonight was obviously not a night Charlie was going to be able to be all alluring and over the top sexy, so there really wasn’t any point in trying. Plus, this was Sebastian. She could always be herself around Sebastian, that was part of what she loved so much about him.
