Guppies (A Valentine's Day Story) || Algernon & Al
Kovu was nervous. So nervous. Actually, he couldn't even remember the last time you had been this nervous. There was something about Algernon that made him smile, that made him want to make this one....stick. He paced around the room a bit and tried to decide if his outfit was to formal for an evening at the aquarium. The dark jeans were fine, but it was more the button up shirt that he was wearing. He took it off and slipped on another shirt, this time it was flannel. A compromise to himself, it still had buttons but was not as fancy. He grabbed his jacket and his messenger bad that was full of a snack like dinner for the two of them and the gift Kovu had made Algernon.
Kovu knocked on Algernon's door nervously. The first time it was soft and probably only barely audible to Algernon. It was the nervous. Kovu took a deep breath and knocked again, this time it was forceful, almost too loud. "Dammit" he muttered under his breath. When the door open Kovu looked over Algernon, who wouldn't, the boy was stunning. "Wow Algernon, you look wonderful." He said with a smile. "You ready to head out?"
