SNEAK OUT [PEN PALS]: EM + RUSS

Emmerson: Taking a final look at herself in the mirror, Emmerson smiled and headed out the door. Tonight was going to be a big night. Not only was she meeting up with Blaine a little later on, but she finally got to meet her pen pal. He seemed cool. The two of them conversing sometimes for hours on end. She sensed her pen pal had an appreciation for some of the nerdier things in life, but he was always good for a laugh. Initially the project was something they'd been required to partake in as part of their learning criteria, but now it was something that Emmerson enjoyed. The two of them chatting each night at a set time. Their conversations had taken somewhat of a turn over the last few days though. They'd gotten quite deep and heavy. Her pen pal had been dealing with quite a lot, so being able to convince him to come out tonight was a win for Emmerson. As she approached a corner of forest they'd agreed to meet at, Emmerson smiled. She was incredibly intrigued by the person she was about to meet. Arriving to see she was all alone, she took a seat on a moss covered rock that rested below a tree. She hoped he wouldn't pull out and that he'd actually venture out to meet her like they'd agreed.

Zinger slowly raised an eyebrow at the defiance being thrown in her direction. "Cute. Real cute." The annoyance was heard on her lips as she sighed, patting a fresh bruise on the girl's cheek before pulling her up by her collar. "But, I don't remember asking if you were, dear. I haven't asked you a thing....." A small smirk formed as she stood her up against the wall, raising Minji's bound hands above her head on a makeshift hook she had fashioned for such an occasion. "Besides, I know you aren't. That's why I chose you. That and you're such a perfect vessel for my message."

Winnie probably hadn't been as social at the reunion as she could have been, but she was nearly seven months along with very active twins kicking away and using her bladder as a bouncy castle--so she was trying to take it easy and not over exhaust herself, and avoid any drama that might pop up. She was slowly making the rounds to play catch up with the people that she remembered fondly, and did the dance of avoidance with those she hadn't had the most positive interactions with back in the day. While she was enjoying the trip--save the power outage on a hot and muggy late summer night--her focus was on her family, as always. No matter what, her husband and kids would always come before anything else.

After a day spent with Regan, Alexi and Stefan at their home in the city and then the drive back through the mud and the muck--each parent carrying in a sleeping child, changing them for bed and tucking them and Theo in for the night--Winnie flumped herself onto their bed. "I swear I'm going to be giving birth to future soccer players," she let out a long sigh, her hands coming to rest against her large baby bump--the twin boys deciding now was the time to get super active. "After all your sister's requests for kicking today and nothing, now your future World Cup players have decided it's time for kicking practice."

Waking Up Married ||AU|| [Madge&Damon]

A soft groan left Madge’s lips as her eyes fluttered open, then immediately closed when the bright light of the sun rays registered. It took her a minute to remember where she was, and even longer to finally wake up enough to sit up on the bed. She looked over to her right and saw Damon was still asleep. Not that she blamed him—they had drank way too much.

Most of the night was a blur of dancing, laughing, more dancing, and lots of drinking. It didn’t surprise her in the least both had ended up in the same bed. For their own sake, Madge only hoped they’d use protection if they’d taken things to that level. She rubbed her temples gently with her fingertips, then decided to get up and get a drink of water. Once the blonde reached the kitchen at a snail’s pace, and took hold of a glass, something caught her attention. A thin—was that a wedding band?—silver ring was nicely placed in her ring finger. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what it meant and her eyes widened at the realization. "O-Oh my— Damon!" There was no better way to get sober than to realize you might’ve gotten married the night before.

Madge made her way back to the room and over to Damon, then took his hand in hers and, sure enough, there was a ring similar to hers on his finger. Shit. "Damon, wake up. This is serious." She shook his shoulder rather roughly, trying to bring him back to consciousness.
