Kurt was going through his clothes trying to find the right outfit, he thought he found one but now it just didn't seem right. He kept trying others on but they just weren't the right ones. Mercedes was sat on the bed, watching as Kurt through clothes on the bed and around the room. "You're just meeting his dad Kurt." Kurt turned and looked at Mercedes. "Just? Just meeting his dad. Mercedes, I have never had a boyfriend before, Blaine is my first. I want to make a good impression." "Didn't you already do that when you carried his darling son home?" "We didn't really talk then, I just want him to know me and know that I won't ever hurt Blaine. I love Blaine and I want to make him happy which I know this dinner will." He picked up an outfit and started trying it on. "Kurt, he doesn't love you. Don't get too deep in this relationship, he might never love you back." "Mercedes sweetie, it takes the average human four months to fall in love, but Blaine is my soulmate. He should fall in love with me quicker but yes, there is a chance that he might not." He smoothed out his outfit over his body, fixing his waistcoat (he's wearing the outfit he wore during Love Shack in Heart). "I wish you would be nice about your relationship. You never hear me complaining about the humans you bring back and have one night stands with. So stop trying to hurt me and my relationship." Kurt said as he picked up his jacket and bag, putting them both on. "Now, wish me luck." "Good luck." Mercedes followed Kurt out of the room and to his car, hugging him before he drove off to Blaine's.
While in the car, Kurt tapped nervously at the wheel, wandering if Blaine's dad would like him. Yes, they had met once already but that wasn't really enough to say that they liked someone. He desperately wanted approval, especially when it came to Blaine's family. He arrived at the Anderson house, getting out of the car and walking to Blaine's front door, knocking on it.
