"Alright, I gotta go. We'll meet at lunch, yeah?" Noah murmured to his girlfriend, giving her a small smile and kissing her forehead before beginning to walk backwards in the direction of his classroom. Talia nodded her head and lifted her hand to wave goodbye before turning on her heel. They had allowed themselves a couple of minutes to get to class and considering Noah's was on the other side of the school, he'd literally have to run from his locker with his books to make it before the bell rang. 

The way the senior music room had been set up was unusual. Their teacher believed that it should be set up to fit a relaxed environment, so beanbags, a small couch in the corner and a few chairs were scattered about the room. He opted to straddle one of the chairs, dropping his books unceremoniously on the floor beside him. The Year 11s and 12s definitely loved it, considering how stressful these last two years were for them, Since the number of students in the class as well was pretty small, it always gave them more one-on-one time with their teacher if they needed it. The music room was like the epitome of relaxation for the music students.

One of his friends decided to sit beside him, and after fist-pumping him in greeting, the blonde had taken the guitar his friend had walked in with and begin playing a quick tune. "Hey, man, give it back."

"The teacher's not here yet; I'm sure he wouldn't mind if we play before he gets here. Chill out." Noah laughed, standing and readjusting himself on the chair so that he could play comfortably. He pulled up the sleeves of his school jumper, loosened his tie, and started off with a pretty easy melody, but it was one that everyone seemed to know.

"I wanna be a billionare, so fucking bad, buy all of the things I never had!"

That Final Door [Future]// Russ & Ella

Numbly, Russel made his way home from doing his rounds. The only thing he felt was the dull thudding in his chest. How long had he been this way? How long had there been nothing inside of him? Why hadn't he noticed it sooner? Was his mind always this blank, his hands always so still?

Russ felt unsure of himself, unsure of everything he was. Death seemed to follow Russ - that much he had come to terms with. Beginning with himself, he had been slowly inflicting gradual destruction to his body with his substance abuse. Next had been Kat - her fatal fall from the roof because of his mistakes. Not even a week later had followed his biological parents, and then his twin's adoptive ones. In a sense, his own adoptive family had died in spirit long, long ago. 

Ultimately, Russel could only bring bad news. That had been his life, that had been him. Really, the only patch of light filtered into the bleak past and future of him was the discover of Ella, his long-lost twin. Together, they'd dealt with everything, and though to anyone else they seemed detached - their bond was strong underneath. 

However, Russ thought things had been fine. Business was falling a bit, but he'd managed to come through, bring in new buyers. The house and Ella was doing well, he hadn't been in a physical fight in weeks.

So where had it gone wrong? How had this happened, this new sense of regret and guilt? How had Russel really cost another life because of his ill-thinking? 

He opened the door to the house, not bothering to take his shoes off in the kitchen like he was supposed to. Russel didn't care - he didn't care about anything. He knew Ella would be waiting for him - she didn't sleep usually anyway, and their late nights had become regular occurrences. 

Russ stopped in the doorway of the living room, looking in bleakly at his dark-haired sister, eyes glued to the TV. For a long time, he just stared into the room, waiting for himself to fall over dead. Nothing was in him anymore, just that steady beat of his heart.

"Ella," He finally spoke, voice completely flat. Lifeless as the expression on his face. "I need your help to bury a body."

My Ella & Flowers

Wesley felt like the biggest dork ever as he perused the aisles of the flower shop after school. But he wanted to do this for Ella and Hope and surprise them with some when Ella wasn't expecting it. He'd even made a point to tell her at school that Carter wanted to hang out even though that had been a lie. So he'd kissed her goodbye after class and then went to the store. The problem was that Wesley had no clue what kind of flowers Ella liked so he had been walking around for almost half an hour before the woman at the shop volunteered her help and soon enough he was purchasing two beautiful bouquets that were unique for each girl. It had been then that Wesley had remembered that Hope had told him Ella's favorite flowers and he went back to add magnolia's and tulips to her bouquet before he left. When he finished he made his way over to Ella's, knocking on the door with a smile on his face and the flowers in hand, excited to see her reaction to the surprise.

Apologies II Wesley & Ella

Wesley was drunk for the first time since he and Ella had started dating. Drunk enough that he'd thought that going over to her place in the middle of the night with her daughter sleeping to apologize was a good idea. But their fight had been stupid and had gotten blown way out of proportion and it was mostly his fault and he couldn't go to sleep knowing that she was upset. He cared about her too much and he knew that when it came down to it she loved him and that they could make up if he just said he was sorry. So there he was standing at her door, trying to keep steady on his feet as he knocked softly on the door and waited for his Ella to answer.

Here Goes Nothin' → Austin and Ella

As he waited for Ella to finish work, Austin sat on his bed just playing around on his phone. Mikael hated phones and he tended groan or grumble at just the sight of one, so it was pretty good for the teenager to finally at least hold it again.The man had left Austin's room no longer that forty minutes ago, leaving the boy alone for the first time in weeks, excluding his classes - and even then Mikael would somehow find a way of appearing. As soon as the man had left, Austin took the opportunity to text Ella. He'd missed her but knew that if he invited his friend over with Mikael in the room, the atmosphere would be awkward and uncomfortable. However, he didn't want Mikael to leave, so he waited until the man had to take care of his own business and left on his own accord.

Not only had he missed the girl's company, but he had a lot of things to tell her. There was no denying that when it came to boys, celebrities or any kind of gossip in general, Austin was a huge girl, even if he'd only recently been more open, he was glad to have somebody his age to talk to about mindless things. He ran out of things to do on his phone quickly and sat, juggling it from one hand to the other as he waited for Ella excitedly.

Normal people amuse me.||Ella & Sherman

'Public' was not somewhere Sherman wanted to be. If he had a choice, he would have happily remained at home. But his brother existed. Michael was giving him a rather bland speech on how he was wasting his pathetic life away, lying on the couch and being generally unresponsive to the world. Sherman had felt like telling his brother that he would never reach Sherman's level of intelligence, and that he wouldn't understand the complexity of the thoughts he was processing. But he had remained silent, not wishing for another family argument to erupt within the house.

So, Sherman had crawled out of the house and had made his way down to Les Amis. Humanity had a habit of irking him, but at the same time, he found it amusing. He had spent hours people watching, discerning all he could about the passers by. It was all rather fascinating, and Sherman often felt as if he knew things he shouldn't. Michael had always told him that it was strange. He personally didn't think it was all too bizarre, but then again, he and Michael were so different. And honestly, he didn't care.

It's Not Safe at Night // Ella and Sarah

Of all the Garde, Sarah felt the most safe with Ella. Even more so than with John, though she would never tell him that. Perhaps it was because the girl was so small, so nonthreatening that Sarah just couldn't see her as someone to be scared of. Though she knew that Ella had powers as well, and that she was more dangerous than she seemed, Sarah was still relaxed around her. 

Which was why the two of them had gone out shopping that evening. It was an activity that she never would have been able to do with, say, Stanley, even if he had been interested. But she and Ella had a good time of it, getting a few things for the house, and then grabbing dinner together.

Now they were heading back to Sarah's, even though it was already dark. The shadows were making her a bit jumpy, but she forced herself to calm down. It was only a few more blocks to her and Four's place, and this area of town was usually pretty quiet. "So, how're your classes going?" Sarah asked, just to keep their conversation rolling.
