All games are played | Grayson & Isobel
Isobel had spent the past few days mostly in her dorm and the volleyball court. Ever since she’d sprained her ankle –which caused her to take it slow and not train for a little while- she wanted to play more and more. She wanted to make up for lost time and train more and harder. If there ever was a chance for her to play for a high, and maybe even the national team, she wanted to take it. Though, when she realized that she’d been quite the loner recently, she decided to go out for a walk. Show her face to the world again. Perhaps it was a good idea. The brunette made her way through the hallways and towards the student center. Maybe one of her friends was there. Maybe someone from the volleyball team, or maybe someone she didn’t know but would talk to anyway. So when she pulled her jacket closer to her, she walked towards the center. It probably would end up with her sitting somewhere in a corner to watch a football game by herself or something. She didn’t mind, though. Being alone wasn’t her favourite thing, but she could live with it.
When Isobel arrived at the student center, she noticed that there weren’t that many people. A football game was on, so a small bunch of people were sitting around the corner where the large screen showed the match. Isobel made her way towards it, to see what teams were playing and what the scores were at the moment. As she crossed her arms and looked at the screen, she noticed someone sitting there. By himself, eyes locked on the screen. A small smile appeared on her face and she walked over to the guy. “Hey.” Isobel said as she looked at the guy, only to look back at the screen. “Is it a good game?” The guy next to her was one of many who underestimated her knowledge of football and all other sports. She didn’t get his name when they had talked, all she knew was that he was a football player, new and bitter. Oh- and he really did not believe that she could possibly know anything about sports. Isobel looked at the guy and stuck out her hand towards him. “I’m Isobel, by the way. I didn’t get your name the last time.” The brunette explained.
