WHO: Sebastian Smythe & Hunter Clarington
WHEN: Wednesday, September 29th. Night.
WHERE: Sebastian’s Home
WHAT: Sebastian fulfills the demands of his latest revenge bitch, through a small loophole, and tosses a Sonic slushie in Hunter’s beautiful face.
NOTES: Literally the shortest Huntbastian you’ll ever see.
Sebastian was honestly exhausted after spending his day stress-cleaning the entire house, then going out with his mother for a day of "catching up" which had resulted in lecture upon lecture about anything and everything she could think to lecture him over. All of that on top of the messages he had gotten this morning? He was tired, so on their way home he convinced his mom to stop at the local Sonic so he could get dinner for himself and Hunter. An idea popped into his head as he stared at the menu, a possible loophole, and he tacked on two large slushies to his order. Once he arrived home his mother said her goodnights and went to her room, meanwhile Sebastian took the bags of food to the kitchen and sat everything out on a counter. "Hunter, we got dinner, get your ass in here or else I might eat it all," he called, one hand curling around the middle of a slushie as he took the lid off.
Hunter got off of the couch once he heard Sebastian call for him, he had been sitting in the living room on his laptop after Jeff had left and had been waiting for Sebastian to come back after his little outing with his mom. "I'm coming!" He called back and left the living room to head into the kitchen. "Hey you, how was your little mother, son outing you had?" He asked curiously, pulling back the edge of one of the bags to see what all Sebastian had gotten for them. "I hope it wasn't as bad or worse than you expected." Hunter looked up at Sebastian and gave him a small smile.
Sebastian laughed drily, shaking his head. "It was definitely just as bad as I anticipated, though I'm surprised she didn't make it worse." He sighed, looking over to Hunter curiously peeking into the bag and caught his smile. He looked away again, actually feeling a bit of guilt from what he was about to do. He had gotten his fair share of slushies since transferring to McKinley, and it definitely wasn't pleasant. But he also could not risk everyone finding out his secret or his family moving him again. He may not like Lima or the events going down, but he liked the friends he had made and how he at least felt at home here for now. He pulled his lip between his teeth, steeling himself before making his next move. "But it was alright, and I got you a sl--" he cut himself off with a sharp movement, swinging his arm and tossing the contents of the cup up into Hunter's face. "Shit!" He exclaimed, trying to sound as genuine as he could, wanting to pass it off as an accident.
Hunter frowned a bit and nodded his head. "At least it wasn't as bad as it could be, you know?" He shrugged, looking over at Sebastian when he started to talk again. He couldn't help the gasp at the shock of cold once the slushie hit him. "What the actual fuck is wrong with you, Sebastian!?" He said sharply, grabbing the nearest rag off the counter and groaned as he tried to get the slush to stop stinging his eyes. "Fucking great, thanks for that." Hunter tugged off his soaked shirt, tossing it to the floor.
Sebastian feigned a look of shock, "Shit, Hunt, I'm sorry!" The apology was at least genuine as he sat the cup down and grabbed the rag from Hunter's hands, trying to wipe as much slush from his face as he could. "Sorry, I just... It was an accident," he murmured, wiping the rag over Hunter's shoulders and chest. He moved over to the sink, wetting the rag and grabbing a bigger dish towel to drop at Hunter's feet and absorb some of the mess in the floor before wiping over Hunter's skin again. "You can have mine, I'm sorry," he avoided Hunter's eyes, just trying to clean his sticky skin as much as he could and fight off the guilt that was building in his stomach. At least it was over, if these bitches were as nosy as he thought, they had to have caught that. Somehow. They had known about him and Hunter that night they were alone in his room.
Hunter groaned and tried to calm down his flaring temper, resisting the urge to slap Sebastian's hands away and storm off. "I don't want your fucking slushie, Sebastian." Hunter snapped, shaking his head. "I think I need a shower, thanks for that. Being slushied is definitely as fucking awful as everyone says it is. My eyes sting like a bitch." He muttered and rubbed at one of his eyes with a tired sigh. Hunter took a few deep breaths, trying to ignore the way his hands were twitching at the urge to punch the nearest wall and the anger surging inside of him. "I don't what I did to piss you off, I'm sorry whatever it was because I never want that shit to happen again." He huffed, biting roughly on his tongue to try and calm down.
Sebastian huffed, "I know." He dropped his hand, letting the rag fall onto the counter. After everything he'd already put Hunter through, damn he hated to admit that he was honestly feeling bad. "Look, I'm sorry," he insisted, stepping a little closer to the other boy as he used his foot to wipe at the stained floor. He lowered his voice, speaking just loudly enough for Hunter to hear, "I didn't want to. I'm sorry," He stepped back again, looking up at Hunter, trying to look as apologetic as he could. He wanted to tell Hunter exactly why he had to do what he'd just done, but he was still nervous to even mention the texts. He had felt like a nervous wreck with what Hunter had told him the previous night, still not entirely sure how 'private they could consider their private conversations.
Hunter clenched his jaw and looked at Sebastian, not saying anything. "Okay." Was all he responded with. He knew that Sebastian was more than likely not going to tell him anything, that's how it just seemed to be between the two of them. But Hunter didn't care, if Sebastian said he didn't want to then he's going to assume that the boy probably was put up to it. Sure, it didn't make him feel that much better with his eyes still stinging and how extremely sticky he was but he wasn't going to admit to that aloud. "I'm not hungry anymore." Hunter mumbled, kneeling down and cleaned up the rest of the mess on the floor then picked up the soaking wet towel. "I'm going to take a shower." He told the other boy.
Sebastian chewed at his bottom lip, turning back to the counter and staring down at the bags of food. "Yeah, that's... good idea." He sighed, taking the towel from Hunter and grabbing the other rag from the counter. "I'll get these in the laundry." Suddenly, Sebastian wasn't feeling very hungry himself. "I'll clean up the rest of this." He turned out of the kitchen and toward the laundry room, cursing under his breath. At least it was over with.
WHO: Sebastian Smythe & Hunter Clarington
WHEN: Monday, September 20; Night
WHERE: Sebastian’s Home
WHAT: After being kicked out of his own home by DoucheyMcDouche his father, Hunter turns to Sebastian for a place to stay.
NOTES: the feels are real, l’eggo
Hunter smiled weakly at his driver once he pulled up to Sebastian's house, ignoring the sympathetic look that he received from the man and thanked him quietly. Grabbing his suitcase and backpack for school out of the trunk, he shut the trunk then headed up to the front door of the large Smythe home. He adjusted the strap of his backpack on his shoulder and rang the doorbell, waiting patiently for Sebastian come answer the door.
Sebastian had been a little on edge since Hunter told his dad had gotten physical-- he really wasn't a fan of physical violence-- and waited anxiously for his arrival. As soon as he heard the doorbell he made his way over, taking a moment to compose himself and to make it seem like he hadn't been waiting by the entryway for the past fifteen minutes. Opening the door, he took in Hunter's face, his split lip and nose, and winced as he reached out without thinking to cup Hunter's face, tilting his head a little. "Damn, that doesn't look good," he shook his head, dropping his hand to take Hunter's and pull him inside. "C'mon, I've come to the decision that you can in fact stay inside."
Hunter smiled a bit when Sebastian opened up the door for him and startled a bit when the other boy cupped his face. He merely shrugged his shoulders. "I knew he'd react this way, I don't know why I thought that it could go any other way. He's constantly saying shit about gay people and it's always homophobic...Hence the reason I didn't want to come out. I don't even know when I would have felt comfortable enough to come out. Probably college, honestly, but the anons seemed to have a different plan for me." Hunter allowed Sebastian to tug him inside the house and laughed, smirking at his friend. "Oh? Was I supposed to sleep out in the dog house original? Glad you had a change of heart, Smythe."
Sebastian frowned. "If it makes you feel better, my parents hate me, too. There's a reason this house is empty, they always find conveniently long business trips to go on," he told the other boy as he took his suitcase and backpack, carrying them into the front room for him. Mostly looking for an excuse to quickly move on from that subject, as he'd never confided that information in anyone before. He shot Hunter a smirk as he turned back to him, "Don't be silly, we don't have a dog house, I was going to give you a pillow and let you sleep on the porch swing. But then I figured I'd be stuck with you whining or something, so I might as well just let you stay inside."
Hunter frowned and nodded his head a bit. "If it makes you feel any better, I doubt my mom is going to even give a shit that the Commander kicked me out." He shrugged, letting the subject drop while following after Sebastian. His green eyes narrowed and he stuck his tongue out at Sebastian. "Excuse me, that's rude as hell. To think that you were the person I wanted to stay with the most and it wasn't because you were the first person I told and you were the first to offer, it was because I actually enjoy, some of the time, being around you. But you're totally right, I would whine and text you off my new phone until you let me in. I also doubt you would do it in the first place," A smirk overtook Hunter's face and he poked at Sebastian's chest. "You want to coddle me."
Sebastian 's smirk began to widen, until Hunter had one of his own and poked him, causing his mouth to drop entirely. "Wanted, past tense. The feeling has passed, you're too annoying now." He stepped around Hunter, purposefully knocking his shoulder a little as he passed, "I'm just going to get ready for bed. You should, too. It's a school night after all." He shot a wink over his shoulder before moving toward the stairs, calling behind himself, "Maybe you can make me feel differently about you tonight. If you really try, you might get some kisses."
Hunter gasped dramatically, his smirk turning into an amused grin. "Bitch, I am fantastic. How dare you think I'm annoying." He let out an annoyed grunt when Sebastian's shoulder bumped into his ow. He turned around and watched the boy walking toward the stairs. "We know I don't have to try that hard to get you to kiss me now that you know that I want you to and that you can." He snorted, hesitating before he started to follow after Sebastian up the stairs. His hesitation started to creep through. "Bas?" He asked in a quiet tone. "Um, where am I sleeping?"
Sebastian ignored Hunter's dramatics, keeping his back turned to hide the smile quirking his lips. He stopped halfway up the stairs, looking to Hunter with a small shrug, "Well, there's a guest room, and also two other empty rooms." He began counting off the other options on his fingers, taking a few steps as he spoke until he was back in front of Hunter. "Or a couch, the floor. We've also got an air mattress that could be blown up, and then there's always my bed. Take your pick.”
Hunter listened to the options and chewed on his bottom lip. He let out a long breath and sheepishly rubbed at the back of his neck. "I feel like an utter whiny ass bitch for saying what I'm about to say, but I kind of really don't want to be alone tonight so if you don't mind me crashing in your bed with you...that'd be really cool. I'd totally get it if you don't want me to though, personal space and all. You know what, forget it, the guest bed is fine." He began to ramble, a tendency he had when he got flustered or nervous, which didn't happen often. Well, except for around Sebastian.
Sebastian grabbed Hunter by the wrist as he started to ramble, not bothering to say anything, and pulled Hunter up the stairs behind him until they reached his room. "My bed is a fine choice, the pillows can even soak up your whiny ass bitch tears. And I'm not a big spoon." His room was dark save for a lamp on in the corner, the blinds drawn, and things messily organized around his bookshelf and desk. "The bathroom is through there," Sebastian pointed to a door to the far left of the room. "There's extra toothbrushes and shit in the medicine cabinet, if you need one or something. And the bed, you know well," he winked. "Need anything else?"
Hunter shut up as soon as he felt the other boy's fingers curl around his wrist and dumbly followed after him into the bedroom. "I don't have any whiny bitch ass tears, you cock." He huffed, rolling his eyes. "Of course you're not," He looked around the room, not being able to help himself from fixing some of the things on Sebastian's desk until it was all organize and suddenly realized what he was doing when Sebastian spoke up. "Uh, sorry. Bad habit." He looked over where Sebastian pointed and nodded his head. "Um, no. I just need to go get my bags...thanks again, Bas." He stopped, suddenly walking over to Sebastian and kissed the other boy's cheek then left the room to go back downstairs to grab his things.
Sebastian froze for a moment with Hunter's lips on his cheek, coming back to himself as the boy was almost out of the door. "Don't mention it," he muttered to his back, ignoring the heat he felt growing over his face. He turned to his dresser once Hunter was out of the room, changing into a pair of sweats and pulling his shirt off. He usually slept in much less, but considering his new bed company and the events of the day he figured he should at least act modest. He'd already gone through the rest of his nightly routine, just to give himself something to do while he waited for Hunter, so he moved on to turning down the bed, keeping his mind busy and willing the flush from his face.
Hunter stopped once he got to the front room, running a hand through his disheveled hair. He took a deep breath and tried to collect himself before he finally picked up his backpack and suitcase. Coming back to the room, Hunter blushed a bit seeing Sebastian shirtless then rolled his eyes at himself. He saw the boy naked just practically two or so days ago. Grabbing just a pair of basketball shorts, Hunter went into the bathroom and got ready for bed. "I hope you're proud of yourself." Hunter stated once he left the bathroom, just in the basketball shorts and the bruises on his hips were still very apparent along with the hickey.
Sebastian sat on the edge of his bed once Hunter re-emerged from the bathroom, looking at him in confusion for a moment before his eyes fell down Hunter's body to the finger-shaped bruises along his hips. He didn't even try to hide the proud smile as he hummed, "Very much so. The hickey looks pretty lonely up there, though. Maybe we should fix that." He let out a heavy sigh, stretching his arms as he leaned back on the bed. "Another time, of course, as you've still not made it back into my good graces enough to deserve that kind of treatment."
Hunter rolled his eyes, a smile playing at his pink lips. "Your good graces? Fine, maybe I don't even want to be in them in the first place." He shrugged indifferently, plopping down onto the edge of the bed. He glanced over at Sebastian and just let out a snort. "What exactly am I supposed to do to get back into your 'good graces', hmm?" Hunter raised an eyebrow and nudged his foot against the boy's leg.
Sebastian shrugged, glancing back at Hunter with a sly smile, "I don't know, I'll figure it out when you get there." He looked away again, because if he were being honest, he still really wanted to give Hunter that hug, and make up for that missed make out session, and also just make Hunter feel a little better about being out through really awesome and very gay sex... But Sebastian wasn't honest, and instead kept his desires to himself, because he was settled into an act and he could not let Hunter win like that. He'd already admitted to caring about him, that was all Hunter was going to get out of him easily today. Though the idea of kissing Hunter not worrying about them watching and making things worse was still prominent in his mind.
Hunter chuckled and just shook his head. "I think I'll just go to bed then if you're going to be all mysterious and shit." Hunter was drained from the events of the day, waves of an overwhelming nauseous feeling would hit him when he recalled the messages then the way his father reacted to him being gay. He sighed weakly, running a hand through his hair and rested a hand against his stomach as if that would stop the churning feeling. Hunter moved from the edge of the bed and stood up. As much as he felt like sleeping, with his mind running a million miles per hour he just couldn't.
Sebastian looked back at Hunter when he felt the boy's weight lift from the bed, smile dropping and brows furrowing. "Are you okay?" He asked, sitting up and watching his friend for a moment before thinking Fuck it. He grabbed for Hunter's arm, pulling him back to the bed and speaking quietly, "You probably should just sleep." He put his arms around Hunter, holding him the way he'd almost been dying to since he heard about his father's reaction. "For one night I can be a big spoon. But, I want to set the record straight, this is not me breaking, this is me feeling bad for your sorry ass." He pressed a light kiss to the back of Hunter's neck, tightening his hold around him, "Never mentioning this again is how you get back into my good graces."
Hunter blew out a long breath, shrugging his shoulders. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit jittery." A surprised noise when he was pulled back onto the bed. He looked at Sebastian, resting his head on the pillow and didn't say anything for a long while. "Well, I rather you not feel sorry for me. I'm getting enough pity as is, Sebastian. So, just...don't." His jaw clenched and he shook his head. "Don't worry, I rather not tell everyone how you pity me. I'm sure I'll be getting enough sad looks tomorrow to accompany the whispers about the homo who came out. So it won't even be mentioned, don't fucking worry, Bas." He squirmed a bit in an attempt to shove off Sebastian's arms.
Sebastian felt his stomach drop at the sound of Hunter's voice, realizing he'd stepped over a line this time with his assholery. He only held tighter around Hunter's waist as he felt the boy squirm, "You're upset and hurt and have every right to snap at me like that, but don't." He chewed at his lip for a moment before letting out a sigh and continuing, "It's not pity, I feel bad because you're my friend -- pretty much my only friend-- and you've been through a lot of shit in a short amount of time. And you don't deserve any of it." He shook his head a little, pressing himself closer. "And as your friend, I am going to lay here and hold you because you can't lie to me and tell me you didn't want this. And tomorrow I'll still be with you if you need an extra push of courage to get past those idiotic whispers, and I'll do anything you need to help you get through this."
Hunter stop squirming as soon as he felt the grip tighten around him and Sebastian began to talk. "I'm sorry." Hunter said quietly when Sebastian told him not to snap. "It's been a...tough day least to say. I just wasn't ready for such a shitty fucking day to happen to me. I...just thank you for all you're doing for me, Bas. I know I'm being whiny and being an utter asshole right now but it means a lot." He glanced back slightly over his shoulder at Sebastian. "Thank you...I did want this and I kind of needed it, too. And don't worry, I won't mention it again. Keep your 'non-caring' persona up for the masses." He chuckled and looked back away. "Oh, and I'm totally sucking your dick sometime this week, just fyi."
Sebastian shushed him, pressing his lips to the side of Hunter's neck, "It's okay, I know.. And you're welcome." He felt a sense of relief at hearing Hunter's chuckle and couldn't help letting one of his own slip after Hunter's words. "Yes, you definitely are, I won't argue that." He moved one arm from around Hunter long enough to grab his comforter and pull it over the both of them before cuddling back up to Hunter's back. "Now, go to sleep, Clarington. You could use it.”
Hunter couldn't help the noise he let out from the kiss to his neck. "Weak shot, Smythe. Weak shot." He laughed a bit, snuggling underneath the blanket and rolled his eyes. "Oh no, Hunter, you're fine! You're not an asshole, you're amazing!" Hunter exclaimed, "Awe, why thank you, Bas!" He laughed and relaxed against the other boy. "Okay, okay. Goodnight, Bas...Sleep tight." He mumbled, shutting his eyes and drifted off within seconds.
Sebastian had been horrified when he'd heard the news. Hunter's mother had passed away...she had been sick all this time and Sebastian never knew it. Never care to know it or ask about it. Hunter had seemed sad when he mentioned going to see his mother, and Sebastian thought it had something to do with his abusers. He was pissed, and he had wanted Hunter to know he didn't have to deal with that any longer. But now he knew the real reason.
The teenager didn't know how other people coped with this sort of thing, but in Hunter's shoes? Sebastian would want to drink. For more reasons than one. Death was hard, and what was more, his own family situation was so very complicated. He wanted his parents to want and care about him. For them to want to know about him and his life. They just...didn't. And if one of them died, Seb knew that they would go to their grave not knowing their own son. He would have to reconcile with the thought that it was because they never wanted to.
One thing he knew too much about was alcohol. Mainly that drinking it and surrounding yourself with a beat too loud in your ears and the heat of the dance floor did wonders to take your mind off things. So he got dressed, shot Hunter a text [ Hey. Get your dancing shoes on. I'm taking you out ] and then made his way over to Blaine's room. He hesitated, wondering what would happen if Blaine answered the door. But tonight wasn't about the shorter boy with curly hair. It was about Hunter. Sebastian knocked.
"Hope you're decent! Feel free to let me in, even if you're not." Okay. Stupid to hit on a guy whose mother had just passed. But then, Sebastian was stupid. He inhaled and said, "I'll cover my eyes. I just want to make sure you're actually getting ready."
WHO: Hunter Clarington & Sebastian Smythe
WHAT: A meeting.
WHERE: Hunter's house
WHEN: Early January
Summary: Sebastian comes to Hunter's to give him a return gift for the one he got at Christmas, and things happen.
Sebastian:
Sebastian didn't know what he was doing in particular. He was tired of Hunter always making fun of him for opening up. But unlike their last meeting, when Sebastian was disguised as Rachel, this wasn't meant for comfort or revenge. This was the first time that Sebastian would be showing up to Hunter's, as himself, invited in some manner, to meet with the Vampire. He'd only told Hunter he had a gift for him. Honestly, Sebastian didn't, he was just winging this. He thought about giving the other male a blowjob, just as he'd gotten one, only to use the excuse later that he'd done it because 'he'd wanted to.' Let the pale chiseled demigod have a taste of his own medicine.
The more Sebastian thought about it though...the more an idea formed. As he stepped up onto Hunter's porch, his light black jacket covering him from the chill of the January air, he knew what he was going to do. Sebastian had only ever had some form of intimate contact with Hunter when Sebastian was using magic. Never before had consent even been a factor behind his logic. In a way...he'd done to Hunter what was almost done to him, by Brody.
This time? Nothing, and Sebastian meant absolutely nothing, would happen without Hunter's own desire to do it and his clear headed, unadulterated consent and agreement. Sebastian knocked on the door and waited, bouncing on his heels slightly before smoothing his posture and appearance into an utterly demure, and calm demeanor.
Notes: Dare's hostility toward the Clarington boy finally reach breaking point.
Waking up to see the conversations that had transpired online had Darius' blood boiling. He was scrolling, reading through the conversations, the word "faghag" showing up on screen in reference to Rachel, and the implications made against Blaine, and finally, the way Blaine finally submitted and quit the one thing he'd been aspiring to be a part of ever since they'd come to this damn school. It was too much. Dare physically couldn't take it anymore. He slammed his computer shut and grabbed his backpack, throwing it over his shoulder, hoping that the trip to his math class might somehow bring him a clearer head before he did something stupid. His broken hand clenched and unclenched under the tight wrist brace that did little to limit his range of motion. But it was then, walking through the hallway, seeing that son of a bitch just...talking. Hunter looked so casual, like he was getting on with his morning without a care in the world. Red flashed in Dare's vision, and before his mind even registered what his body was doing, he threw his backpack to the ground and took five or six strides forward, grabbing Hunter by the back of his shirt and shoving him face-first into the lockers. He wrenched the backpack down onto Hunter's forearms to restrict the use of his arms for the time being, grasping the lapel of his shirt and spinning him around before delivering a hard punch into his face.
The first hit was purely to stun him, and he could feel the electrifying pain shooting through his damaged hand, but without restraint, he throws his fist again, this time clocking Hunter directly in the nose, hearing a satisfying crunch under his knuckles. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Dare roared, slamming Hunter's back into the locker again. "HOW FUCKING DARE YOU TALK TO HIM LIKE THAT! AND ABOUT RACHEL! I FUCKING WARNED YOU! YOU STAY AWAY FROM BLAINE!" And with that he manages to get one last punch in, determined to walk away after his arm throbbed violently, knowing he'd done far more damage to his hand, maybe even permanently shattered it. Blood coated his fist, fresh from Hunter's nose, and he releases him with a scowl, turning his back, thinking the fight was easily over.
