“but did you do it?”

Who: @penelope-mccarthy & Avery Clarington
Where: Somewhere at Sander’s Bay
When: a few months ago
Avery couldn’t believe it, she actually set her ex’s clothes on fire and she felt...Great about it. So when she heard Penny’s question “but did you do it?” She grinned as she handed her her baked goods and nodded a bit. “I did, it was definitely worth it and definitely left me satisfied, but I will never be satisfied when it comes to getting back at my ex.” She said as she closed the register and looked at her. “There’s always going to be apart of me who might go after him for revenge or something, I don’t know, I just want to him hurt a bit more.”
Little Bit : Penny & Sté
“Have I told you how amazing you look tonight?” Stéphane hummed as his eyes dragged slowly up and down his girlfriend appreciatively. He took a sip from the red cup in his hand and reached for hers with his free hand, thumb brushing over her knuckles. “I’ve missed you. I hated being sick,” Sté frowned. “Can we find somewhere quiet to just be and catch up for a little bit. Before I get too drunk and do something to make a fool out of myself.”

Valentine’s Day || Mini Para || Rab and Penny
It was one of those very rare occasions where Rabastan was awake before Penny. He could only recall three days in all the time they’d been together that it have ever happened. He sat quietly, watching her chest rise and fall as she slept, calm and easy in a way that never happened while awake, no matter how much someone tried they could never replicate it. His eyes scanned the rest of her, her hair messed up from sleeping and honestly looking far too adorable, the gentle features that made up her face.
Finally, after what felt like forever but had only actually been ten minutes, he leaned forward, placing a kiss underneath her ear. There was something familiar and comforting about the way she smelled. It automatically relaxed him despite the fact that he didn't realize that he wasn't completely relaxed. When she didn't stir he took the opportunity to reach over and slid the blankets off her. He watched her closely, making sure that she didn't move again before lifting the bottom of her shirt and staring at her stomach. There was a small bump these days, unnoticeable if you weren't looking for it, but Rab always noticed it. He still wasn't sure how he felt about fatherhood, the idea wasn't particularly appealing, but the idea of having a child with Penny wasn't so bad. Thinking about it without thinking about her was terrible, but she made it seem okay. Growing inside her was a small part of not only him, but also her. Penny was everything that was good in the world. She was the reason that he wanted to get up in the morning, the reason he ever left the house, and the reason that he was fighting in the war, it was all for her, it always had been, even before he realized it.
His hand moved over to her stomach, carefully settling on top of her skin. A small smile came over his face as he ran his fingers over the small bump, still thinking about what was growing inside. The tiny octopus, the one that the nurse had said was only about the size of a pea pod, probably a bit bigger now, had somehow made Penny so happy. The baby was going to help her get over her brother's death way faster than Rab ever would have been able to. She was going to keep going and keep fighting for the baby. Even if he wasn't in love with the idea of her being pregnant, it made her happy. Her being happy was all he needed to continue on with his life.
Slowly he moved over, kissing her again, this time on her lips. He let it linger for a moment, then started kissing down her neck and towards her breasts, "Penny, wake up darling." He whispered, carefully kissing the parts of her breasts that weren't covered by her tank top, then skipping down to her stomach, kissing her bump a few times, then going back up to her lips again. "You need to get up, it's Valentine's Day and I actually planned things. We need to leave soon or we won't be able to get it all done." He grinned, kissing her again before slipping out of bed, still continuing to talk, knowing that if she wasn't already at least a little awake, she would be any minute.
He got her a pair of jeans and a shirt from their closet, then proceeded to get dressed himself. "We can get breakfast when we get there, don't worry about showering, you'll have plenty of time to do that later. We have all day, or we will after we leave..." He shrugged, pulling a shirt over his head as he spoke. "I was thinking we should go to Italy today. On any other day I would have kept it a surprise, but I don't want to go if you and the octopus aren't feeling up to it. I want to make sure you're not feeling sick or anything." He went to sit next to her, pulling her into his arms and kissing the top of her head gently, "I'm sorry, I've barely given you a chance to wake up." He whispered, holding her close to him, but still being gentle about it, "Happy Valentine's Day Penny. How are you feeing?"
