Queen Mab
New York, 1924- the city was bustling and the speakeasies were jumping. Crime was high and women’s hemlines were getting higher. In this world it wasn’t uncommon for anyone from the low class crook to the top of the chain mob boss to get away with murder as long as they slipped the coppers some green or held just the right cards in their hands. The roaring twenties were all about the games- and these games almost always had a gamble with your life as the chip that was always in the mix- just waiting for a bad hand before it was taken away by another gamblers hand.
