Alternate conspiracy theories
(If you have clinical paranoia, these are a lot healthier than your average conspiracy theory—and they make a lot more sense.)
*Gray and green aliens exist. They’re part of a space mentorship program, and they help NASA design and discover new technologies. They work as a nonprofit and hide their identities from Earthlings so they don’t steal all the credit from NASA—NASA, after all, does the work of design; the aliens just help test it out, since they can survive crash landings better.
*UFOs are real. The Air Force designs them at sites like Area 51 after seeing the cool clean-energy, super-areodynamic ‘planes’ the green and gray aliens had. The occasional sighting happens when a test pilot goes off their flight plan to check out what a city looks like at night or do some neat maneuvers over the desert.
*There is a shadow government. They’re trying to raise the minimum wage and make sure everyone has health care. Their leak of the Trumpcare bill was a major victory for them.
*Climate change is real, but there’s a secret cabal of scientists trying to reverse it with mad science. They’re working on a Freeze Ray big enough to re-freeze the Arctic Circle right now.
*There are plans in the works for a One World Government, but so far it’s been stymied by the lack of people with security clearance. Their policies include a universal minimum wage, universal free health care, and openly acknowledging the contributions of the green and gray aliens and establishing contact with interstellar life.
*We haven’t found life on Mars, but there might be some kind of really big fishies living on Europa. They haven’t gotten around to building any technology that sends waves out into space, so we’re not sure yet, and the green and gray aliens don’t want to give us spoilers.
