Death Spot: A ghost that stays in one place and repeats the experience of how it died until someone breaks them out of the loop, which can be very difficult
Poltergeist: a vengeful spirit that can move objects and generally attacks people with said objects
The "living ghost": technically not a ghost. In cases of extreme peril, a living person may send their spirit out to their loves ones to tell them what's happening to them. These people normally end up dead, though
Inanimate manifestations: ghosts of nonliving things. Uncommon and really only happens to important monuments or something that a great many people know. These normally don't manifest twice.
Animal manifestations: since people normally form very strong bonds with their pets, this isn;t uncommon. It's sometimes said that the owner's love for their pet keeps them "alive" when they're a spirit. In theory, they could be vengeful but it's just kind of unlikely. especially with dogs
