#nano bits#like the ones that come to mind are tad's welly boots and never love an anchor from tcw#but like. mhm.#the context is i've been getting into the habit of. listening to a playlist to get into character for our dnd sessions#but this one (serık. tabaxi monk w/bodyguard-esque background if that helps with anything) is. throwing me off.#like. the strongest songs i got in there for getting into characterTM are a sadness runs through him#SPECIFICALLY because of the 'as he asks me to pray to a god he doesn't believe in' (don't worry about it)#but like i hilariously ended up on the end of being the eldest of a group of children half of which i either#helped raise or was a caretaker of (mostly monetary)#and like. this is hilarious to me don't get me wrong. but i do find it hilarious that i cannot escape being#parent liteTM#i joke that he's their distant uncle but two of those are. kind of what he considers his kids. but it's like.#he wants to be low-key about it. And i have TRIED but i run this very thin line of making it look like i don't care and#actively not caring(?/pushing down wanting to intervene because the are grown people and i wanna be VERY clear#that i trust them. yk? wah
