tiva prompt: bet

“hah! pay up, tony,” ziva demands on a delighted laugh. 

tony shakes his head, “no way. not a chance, david. i won fair and square.”

“how did you come to that conclusion?” ziva squints at him. “the bet was clearly who could make the better bread from scratch and yours looks, well, it looks like that.” she points at the misshapen, overly browned lump of dough.

a smug smile forms on tony’s face. “mine may look ugly, but notice which loaf tali can’t get enough of?”

sure enough, tali is on her third toasted and buttered slice of the bread tony made, while ziva’s loaf remains untouched. ziva scowls.

“tali, my love, i thought we agreed...” she trails off, sheepishly withering under the look of disbelief tony shoots her way. 

the kindergartener shrugs and mumbles around a mouthful of bread, “sorry ima, daddy’s bread doesnt got olives in it. i hate olives.”

Favorite episode and why: One Last Ride because it was a perfect series finale and gave all the characters the endings they deserved <3

Funniest/crackiest/it’s-terrible-but-I-still-love-it episode/scene: Flu Season, The Fight, The Treaty, The Comeback Kid and Farmer’s Market are the show’s funniest episodes akjdksjks

It’s-terrible-and-I-hate it episode/scene: I’d say most of the episodes in Season 1 but probably the season 1 finale takes the cake, I mean Mark and Leslie kissing, gross.

Best episode/scene for my favorite character: Ms. Ludgate-Dwyer Goes to Washington was April’s best episode for me, it really showed her growth <3, as for Ben, Two Funerals was such a good episode for him, solely for the scene where he was about to become the mayor of Pawnee but he decided not to, that scene showed his growth as well (I’m proud of him)

Best episode/scene for my favorite ship: Leslie and Ben, Halloween Surprise, Smallest Park, Road Trip and The Trial of Leslie Knope are all god tier Ben/Leslie centric episodes

Best episode/scene for a particular supporting character: Every Jean Ralphio scene is a great scene

Best episode/scene for a character I don’t usually like: I can’t think of anything kjksjdksjdk

Most visually beautiful or interesting episode/scene: One Last Ride! Or maybe also Ben and Leslie’s last scene in Smallest Park, the cinematography in it is great.

Most emotionally affecting episode/scene: For episodes, it’s either Leslie and Ben or One Last Ride while for scenes, Ben and Leslie’s last scene in Smallest Park (yes, again), Ann telling Leslie she won in the election for city council in Win, Lose or Draw, the final scene in Ann and Chris and the final scene in One Last Ride all got me very emotional

Most powerful use of music in an episode/scene: The final scene in Ann and Chris and the montage in End of the World!

Episode/scene that changed my perspective on the show: Parks and Recreation became a favorite show of mine after I watched Flu Season

Episode/scene where the acting stands out: Smallest Park and One Last Ride are the episodes I could think of

Overall best-written episode: One Last Ride!

Hi!! I saw your post about Tony not being in Paris when Ziva was in DC and was wondering if you could elaborate? I haven't seen recent eps so I'm a bit out of the loop :)

Hello friend! I’m sorry this took so long to respond to, but I’m happy to elaborate. I’ll just make a quick disclaimer to say that I’m trying to remain somewhat spoiler-free for s17 so my answers here definitely could have already been tossed out the window.

But! From what I remember, McGee had attempted to contact Tony to tell him about Ziva’s office but couldn’t reach him, so he then gets in contact with Senior. It’s unclear whether or not Senior picked up instead of Tony because he was watching Tali, or if Senior was a separate phone call. Either way, Senior tells McGee that Tony is on his way back to Paris. That immediately peaked my interest because we find out in the same episode that Ziva is in DC. So Tony was away from Paris - his home - for an unknown reason and an unknown period of time while Ziva is in DC for a more defined reason but also for an unknown period of time. There had to be something that prevented us hearing from Tony directly, so having him be in transit makes sense but it just seemed a little suspicious to me that both Tony and Ziva were simultaneously in somewhat undisclosed locations, and imo, it lends more material to the ‘Tony knows Ziva is alive and has been with her’ argument. 

I feel like I didn’t really elaborate very well, let me know if there’s still something that doesn’t quite make sense!
