Do you think strategic voting will help us break the 2 party system in some way? It wouldn't be as fun as a parliamentary system but I feel like we'd be better off with something rather than nothing.

1) If people are actually strategic about it yes, the trick is to not throw elections with it, but use it enough to try to make a point.   

2) I’m actually pretty cynical about parliamentary systems, but at the end of hte date I do support abolishing the Senate as it stands, I just still want an upper house to be a secondary check, just one one based on something as abritary as two senators per state

basically all you have to do is connect everything to nuclear war with Russia

Other team: we should do this bc it’s good for the economy and save lives

my team: yeah but when the economy is good Russia hates us which will lead to nuclear war

Me: nothing, if we do anything Russia will think we’re building nukes and then nuke us so we don’t and then we’re gunna nuke them back and oh look mass extinction
