So... this woman was back. Again. And he didn’t really know what to do about it? Because like... he didn’t want to fuck with her. But he also didn’t know who she was. Not really. Not today, anyway. Things would be so much simpler if he gave her a sign to hold depending on who she felt like or something. Or like, name tags. At least two of her personalities wouldn’t wear them, though.
Danny snorted in amusement. Of course that was stupid. Any attempt at making his life simpler was stupid. He spun around in his office chair to face her instead of the city below. It wasn’t like he was paying attention to the conference call, anyway.
“Hey... what’s up? Need anything? Or just wanna chat? I’m up for it. And don’t worry, i’ve been muted the entire time. I didn’t even do it myself. Pretty sure Jeri did, honestly. Which is probably for the best, y’know.”

so i've been following @worldknowshername / @partsofthemachine for years , and there are not enough words for my half asleep brain to use to describe how thankful i am to be mutuals and able to write with ana.
( WANT TO SHARE YOUR OWN POSITIVITY ? )
“ ( it's been a year since i drank miniature whiskey, and we shared your coke. ain't it just like you to kiss me and then hit the road? leave me listening to the stones 2000 light years from home. ) ”

𝙳𝙸𝚂𝙲𝙾𝙼𝙵𝙾𝚁𝚃 𝙲𝚁𝙰𝚆𝙻𝙴𝙳 𝙾𝚅𝙴𝚁 𝙽𝙸𝙲𝙾’𝚂 𝚂𝙺𝙸𝙽 , she’s uncomfortable , as if a foreign body has taken over and in this case it is only the staff of one that makes her feel at home . however , it’s karolina’s words that bring a warmth to her heart , a slight thumping in her chest that serves as a reminder that … yes there’s a chance they will get through this , that even though a mask of a scowl is dressed on her features there is still hope ---- and she sees it in karolina dean .
❛ if only it could be that easy ❜ her response is made with the familiar coy smile that promises to draw itself upon her features through the dark layer of sadness poised at the corner of her lips . ❛ only you , you know --- ❜ she tells her honestly , one arm wrapping around karolina’s frame so that she can bury her head into the crook of her shoulder . eventually she pulls away , a sigh escaping her lips before everything is about to be shattered . ❛ i just can’t help but feel like we are … i don’t know , missing something  crucial here , you know ? ❜ @partsofthemachine !! continued

There is a disturbance in the universe when the realities collide. A static electricity, unlike the one that’s released right before the thunder strikes is everywhere in the air, and the sky turns colors it should not be, ever, anywhere in the known universe. The scientist part of Jane finds it fascinating, as she stands beside the road and looks at it in awe, yet her Thor form grips the hammer tighter.
They knew this would happen. Stephen had predicted it not long ago.
A tiny European town is quiet; the summer festival usually held by the lake is put on pause until the storm passes; yet not one of them knows that this is no usual storm. It is the end of the world, the one as they know it, at least for the time being.
There is a lightning strike then, stronger than any Jane has produced, that hits within the lake, shining bright green and unnatural, and it lasts only for a split second before the air stills. The sky is still pretty apocalyptic-looking, Jane thinks, and her eyes narrow beneath the helmet when she sees that a form, a human one, comes out of the lake, dressed in the same color of that lightning strike from a moment ago.
“Who goes there?” She calls, wondering if any of the townspeople are looking at the strange scene before them. Being a human herself, Jane is surprised they haven’t ran out to see it up close. She guesses that fear is stronger than curiosity right now.
