I fucking hate the Sakurafaces. I feel bad for Sakura and what happened to her but she's a boring fucking character for like 90% of the FSN visual novel, like she is the most cookie cutter UWU SENPAI NOTICE ME waifu bait I've ever laid eyes on, and then the Sakurafaces (BB, Meltlilith, Passionlip) are just further attempting to milk her as a waifu (not even getting into how gross it is that they're sexualizing a r*pe victim).

Yeah, but if you look just a tad deeper, she is symbolically Shirou's Naiveness. He wishes to save everyone in front of him, but since he won't bother looking past people's words, he cannot truly save everyone. Sakura is Shirou's biggest failing. She has been close to him for a long while, almost begging in her heart for him to save her, but he cannot see the truth through his hero-tinted glasses. I could rant further, because her being Senpai notice me bait is a truth and a mask that hides her deadness to all but the one thing that brings light to her bleak, miserable existence, but I am going to stop here.

No one is saying that Sakura herself is gross, by the way. It's the fact that the Fate franchise turns her sexual abuse and trauma into something to be fetishized, that is gross (especially with Passionlip being a walking, talking erogenous zone). THAT is what I hate about the Sakurafaces.

I actually like passionlips because she is Sakura's insecurities all bundled into a ball. She is insecure about her body, due to all of the wormy shit, her insecurities about her strength, never able to have enough to break free. I could label a few more examples, but mostly I kinda just want to pet Passionlips on the head and tell her things will be alright. But I get where you are coming from.
