Freedom. I count myself lucky every day that I’m here - in probably the freest country, in a world that is hopefully getting freer and freer. Where I can identify as a woman, a Jew, a human, a child of “pinko Commy” Ukrainian immigrants, a mother, and not be persecuted overtly day after day, as my parents, grandparents, and ancestors had been. Recent events just compound this gratitude🙏 We definitely have a ways to go even in the U.S. before everyone who identifies as they really want to be - can just be. But I know we’re getting there. Embracing body diversity, racial, ethnic, religious, gender-based and sexual-oriented freedom is crucial to our human evolution. Feeling great in your own skin is important for everything - the face you put forth to the world, your level of confidence, security, audacity! Your feeling of trying new things and standing up to injustice! If you have fear-based beliefs about yourself and others, you are contributing to injustice... think on that for a bit! Here’s to freedom - big and small! Stand up and stand out! Make this a PASSOVER OF LOVE❤️ I realize it’s no coincidence my parents named me Miriam (look it up 😉) Happy Passover! Hag Sameach!🙌🏼 #passoveroflove #mindfulmiri https://www.instagram.com/p/Ccat2cwLCs5/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
