This Cheesy Penne with Meatballs recipe is a quick and satisfying meal that can be whipped up in just 20 minutes. Tender meatballs cooked in flavorful marinara sauce, mixed with al dente penne pasta, and topped with melted mozzarella cheese - it's a cheesy delight!
Ingredients: 8 oz penne pasta. 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 egg. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 2 cups marinara sauce. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the penne pasta until it is al dente. Remove the water and set it aside. Ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Mix well, then roll the meat into balls. Put the marinara sauce in a big skillet and set it over medium-low heat. After you add the meatballs to the sauce, cook them for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them over a few times, until they are fully cooked. Warm up the broiler. Add the cooked penne pasta to the pan with the meatballs and sauce. Add mozzarella cheese on top. Put the pan under the broiler for two to three minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles. If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves as a garnish. Enjoy while hot!
