Do you ever see an expression, or phrase and think, "Aw that's cute/thoughtful," but then you think about a second more and think, "Naw man that's bullshit. Literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard." Today I saw this sign that said, "Bloom where you were planted." Alright I can see that, make the best of a bad situation, or a situation that you have little to no control of. But then I thought more about it... Plants, or at least all the plants I know of are stationary. They get planted, and they stay fucking put season after season. Yeah they bloom, they're plant happy, living their plant lives to the fullest but they'll stay in that same fucking patch of dirt year after year till they wilt up and die. I don't wanna bloom where I was planted, I wanna leave my patch of dirt, my home patch of dirt doesn't even have a Starbucks man, and they're fucking everywhere.
