I’ve rediscovered my love for MySims thanks to @berriesandbrownsugar showing off some of her Agents gameplay, so I decided to reinstall the original on my computer! (Remember when I bought it almost five years ago? I sure do.) I remade Mary Newton, my former LEPacy founder, the best I could with MySims’s limited CAS. No captioned pics, but I might edit for the story ones because the text is small and I used FRAPS there in fullscreen before I used Lightshot in windowed mode.
So, to sum up these highlights:
Mary, our Essence bearer, moves back to Sunset (which would have been Sunset Valley, but alas, character limit), to help revitalize the town. She builds herself a house and workshop before doing some tasks for the mayor, Rosalyn, and Poppy, the florist.
I had her play in the fountain because 1) why not?, and 2) it’s cute. This whole game is cute. Play MySims if you can or find a Let’s Play because it’s cute.
Patrick somehow stepped on the flowers. Okay.
Violet is Goth GF vibes because not only did Mary blow her a kiss when I had them do the “be nice” interaction, every time they interacted Violet was blushing. It’s (MySims) canon now.
DJ Candy did not want Mary to leave her house after I forgot to make her the items she requested. Much like the Hotel California, Mary had to stay for quite some time before she could leave.
