8. Kaner and tazer are both de-aged 5 year olds and they constantly go from screaming at eachother to protecting eachother to fighting and wrestling again -patrickkanedoingthings

Andrew is losing his mind. Jonny and Patrick are friends, so, yeah, he thought it’d be fine to leave them together while he went to shower. He’s on toddler-teammate-babysitting duty right now, and it’s a nightmare, because when he gets back, Jonny and Patrick are trying to shove each other off the bench,screaming about something.

“Noooooo!” Patrick’s wailing, “Miiiiiine!”

“Nuh-uh! Mine!” Jonny protests, trying to yank something out of Patrick’s hands; it looks like a t-shirt.

“I want it!” Patrick shrieks, nearly topples over when Jonny grabs it out of his hands; Andrew picks Patrick up quickly, but it’s too late, and Patrick’s already burst into tears. “Gimme it back!” he sobs, hicuuping and trying desperately to reach for Jonny. Jonny turns away, pouting, and Patrick cries into Andrew’s shoulder.

“Shh, shh,” Andrew tries, looks helplessly to Brandon. “Make him stop!” he pleads. Brandon arches an eyebrow, but reaches for Patrick.

“Hey, buddy,” he says gently, “you wanna go watch the zamboni?” Patrick rubs his eyes with his fists, but nods yes, squirms to be put down. Before he follows Brandon, he goes over to Jonny, tugs on Jonny’s sleeve.

“Come see the zamboni,” he says, and Jonny nods, holds out the t-shirt to Patrick; it looks like one of Jonny’s. Patrick takes it and smiles sunnily at Jonny, then lets Jonny lead him by the hand after Brandon.

“They were fighting two seconds ago,” Andrew says to Sharpy, who just laughs.

“Shocker.”

“They’re like, best friends now!”

“Shocker.”

“You’re no help,” Andrew huffs.

The rest of the day is no better. Patrick and Jonny go from fighting to cuddling at lightning speed, will one second be fighting over wanting the red carseat and not the blue one, and then wanting to sit on the same chair at lunch and being happy to share everything. Andrew is losing his mind, but at least Brandon stays with him to look after them, which is helpful since he’s much better with kids than Andrew is. Andrew already practically dropped Patrick and would have forgotten Jonny in the car if Patrick didn’t start wailing you forgetted Jonny!

Once they finally get home, Andrew is exhausted. He ends up falling asleep on the couch while they watch a movie, head down on Brandon’s shoulder. He doesn’t really get to sleep for long, gets kicked by one of the babies trying to climb onto the couch. It’s Patrick, struggling to pull over a blanket and crawl into Andrew’s lap, Jonny in Brandon’s lap, holding a pillow. He puts the pillow in the small space between Andrew and Brandon, then tugs over half the blanket.

“Hey,” Andrew whispers to Brandon, “they’re actually super cute.” They’ve fallen asleep already, Patrick in Andrew’s lap and Jonny in Brandon’s, curled up sharing the same pillow between them. Patrick’s got his thumb in his mouth and Jonny’s little hand is curled in the blanket. Brandon yawns, makes a sound of agreement.

“Go back to sleep,” he whispers, reaches over to grab a pillow and settle it against his shoulder for Andrew. Andrew snuggles up happily, falls asleep as Brandon whispers Jonny back to sleep, telling him it’s okay, he’s right here with you, go back to sleep.

okay on the patrick kane nips post, that one picture of patrick working out with the black band around him. can you post that full picture? or send me a link to where I can find it?:) He looks sexy and I have never seen that pic before

That particular one is from a forum (here). The sentence preceding it was this: “Found one of Kane. It’s old but I’m pretty sure he was at least legal” so take from that what you will. Sorry I didn’t find a bigger version of him shirtless on the bike! But look at the two other ones?!

Okay could you pleassee write a fic about what it would be like if the Blackhawks team were all in elementary school together? Like Bollig and Shaw are always getting into fights/sticking up for eachother, sharpy is always pranking them, Kaner being Kaner, Tazer being serious about his school work, etc, etc? That would be an amazing fic!

“Joooonnnnyyyyy,” Patrick whines, head down on the desk. He peeks over at the clock - twelve more minutes until recess is half over.

“I’m almost done!” Jonny’s studying his stupid vocabulary words. They have a test later today on all the spellings and Jonny always spends exactly half of recess on test days just studying, and it’s boring. Everyone else is playing soccer; Brent ran out of the room as soon as the bell rang to go grab a ball, and Duncan went after him to claim the field, even though they both only play soccer for some of recess, and just go play tetherball by themselves for the rest of it. Patrick used to play tetherball, but Sharpy hit him in the head with it once, and he’s not so into tetherball anymore.

“But I wanna go play soccer! Everyone’s playing socer, Jonny-”

“So go.”

“Yes!” Patrick jumps up, nearly knocks over his chair. Jonny frowns. “Well? Coming? Hurry up-”

“No, I’ve still got ten minutes. I said you could go.”

“Without you?” Patrick asks. Jonny shrugs, and Patrick sits back down. He’s not going out without Jonny, that would be dumb. The whole point of recess is to play soccer with Jonny and get to stand behind him when they line up to go back inside, Patrick doesn’t want to go by himself. Also, when he stays, Jonny looks kind of happy; Patrick likes that, like he likes scoring a goal in soccer when Jonny’s watching.

Brandon’s sitting in the principal’s office again. This time, he didn’t do anything wrong; he was just playing with the little superbouncy ball he’d gotten yesterday, and a fourth grader stole it, and Andrew hit that boy, so Andrew’s in the principal’s office now, getting told that hitting isn’t how to solve problems. Brandon knows the lecture; he got it last Tuesday, because he pushed over the boy that tripped Andrew. It wasn’t fair that Brandon got in trouble, because that boy’s always being mean to Andrew, which sucks because Andrew’s nice. He’s really funny and when they carpool he always lets Brandon sit by the window on the way home; the other Brandon (Brandon calls him Brandon Two, because his last name’s Saad, and that’s weird) is part of their carpool too, but he sucks at sharing. Brandon didn’t use to like Brandon Two, because he was worried Brandon Two would steal Andrew even though Andrew was Brandon’s best friend first; it’s okay, though. Brandon slept over at Andrew’s house three weeks ago, and when they were going to sleep, he asked if he’s Andrew’s favourite Brandon and Andrew said yes.

“What’re you doing here?” the principal asks when she brings Andrew back into the hallway where the chairs are.

“I’m waiting for Andrew, Mrs. Hansen,” Brandon says, extra polite so she’ll be nice to him next time he gets in trouble. She smiles.

“Stay out of trouble, boys.”

Brandon runs off with Andrew, and once they’re around the corner, they slow down. “Did she yell at you a lot?” Brandon asks, and Andrew shakes his head no

“It’s alright,” he says, and that’s their code for I’m in a lot of trouble, but it’s okay, because I got in that fight for you.
